Donisa is an absolute ray of SUNSHINE! My husband and I were passing through and stopped at this Pilot for gas--and, of course, a Cinnabon. Donisa was working behind the Cinnabon counter, and from the moment we interacted, she brought so much joy to our day. I was still groggy from napping in the car and asked if they had the kind with caramel and pecans. With perfect comedic timing, she joked that the names were right there on the labels in front of me. We both burst out laughing, and it was clear that Donisa has a gift for reading people and knowing exactly how to bring out a smile. She seemed to know just about everyone who walked in, greeting them like old friends or family. Donisa adds something truly special to this Pilot location. Without her, it would be just another store--but her energy and laugh make you feel better walking out than you did walking in. Extremely slow gas pumps. Maximum output is 6 gallons per minute. So plan on taking awhile to fill up your vehicle. Also not mobile tap lag enabled so more of a risk of having a card hacked with skimmers. One good thing was the traffic light to help you get quickly back on the interstate. read more

A very busy fueling area with convenience store that I would skip again. However it's not Pilots Travel fault in my opinion. It's a popular exit with food. Fuel was just under $4. The gas station shows it's age, but the pumps worked fine and little debris in the area. The convenience area is small, I did not go in. Cheap gas? I'm stopping! The gas pumps and front get busy with cars. While the back has room for all the semi trucks. But I usually get gas here. The Pilot station is a nice large one, with everything you need for water, sodas, beer, snacks and more. There's a Subway attached, and stand alone Cinnabon inside. But I get a drink here, the lines move fast enough. It's clean, modern, stocked well, and good enough service for the need. read more

There is lots of parking and the workers are very friendly. However, the showers are absolutely disgusting. Gives off the vibe that someone passed away in there. Not one of the best gas stations I had been to on my long drive. As I pumped my gas around 6 PM, I watched a pickup trunk speed by, jump the median and get on the I-95 ramp going the wrong way. The person was being chased by 8-10 police cars, so that immediately made me wary of this location. I stopped here twice when I was in the area in the late afternoon. Once for gas and then I later walked over from my nearby hotel to get something to eat at the Taco Bell. Lots of unsavory sketch balls milling around here too. I did see a woman begging for $ on the curb by the entrance to the store. I lived in Los Angeles, so I'm used to homeless and characters, but this place scared me. As a woman, I wouldn't want to stop here at night. Based on the other Yelp reviews, other people had some similar thoughts about this Pilot location. Also, I wanted to point out that this chain puts a $150 charge on your card when you buy gas. It's not the end of the world because it's my credit card, but just wanted to point this out so it doesn't mess up your checking account balance when using a debit card. read more

Cheapest gas in along 95 in South Carolina probably. It's a large station that accommodates both big rigs and regular cars. They have lots of snacks, drinks, food, and coffee. Their bathrooms are clean and they have paid to use showers. Gas was a quick pump. Service inside the station was mediocre, at best. read more

I went there for gas , a rest stop and a snack from inside. The has lines are every which way so you need to b careful. I guess b/c it's cheap there is no rhyme or reason to how to form a line! Quite educational, because I've learned that it's somehow both possible and legal for Taco Bell and Subway to charge quite a bit more here than they do at any other locations in the nation. These inflated prices are printed clearly on the menu. Just remember to look before you order. I forgot that step because, hey, it's Taco Bell and Subway. It's a gas station, BUT not just ANY gas station. It's complete with a Taco Bell, Subway, AND a CINNABON! I'll admit that I needed zero gas and only stopped here for a fresh Cinnabon. How can you not?! The station was clean and kept with friendly attendants. They also had a nice fountain soda area with a great coffee bar. Nice large travel center with solid choices for a fast lunch. Has everything one would need for a road trip stop (restrooms, gas, food, drinks...TACO BELL!) . That's right, there's a Taco Bell inside the travel center. Normally, the access to Taco Bell alone would land the place 4 stars, but unfortunately, the restaurant area is not tended to very well and is pretty dirty. The tables look like they haven't been cleaned off in days, the floor is sticky, and, for the first time in my life, I was scared to push the fountain drink lever with my cup in fear that something might get transferred to my drink. There was a old woman in front of the place yelling about child molesters smoking a cigar and there was also hitchhikers asking for a ride kinda scary. This is the travel center my wife and I always stop at on the way to Myrtle Beach to rest and refuel both the car and us. This place is always busy and is packed during peak beach season as it is right off of I-95 and a major route to the beach. The convenience store has just about everything you could want, and they have 2 fast food choices, Subway and Taco Bell. Gas is generally a good price here as well. It can be a bit of a pain to get in and out of with the cars and 18 wheelers using both the same entrance and exit, but they have seperate parking lots. My wife and I have stopped here many, many times over the years and have never had a problem with cleanliness as one reviewer wrote. The store, restaurant area and bathrooms have always been clean. When we travel,we prefer stop at a travel center and 9 out of 10 times it will be a Pilot or once you go into Virginia and farther north , they become Flyin' J, but both are owned by the same company. read more

Stay away. I got ripped off when I filled my tank. Appears the management has something to do with the way the pumps pump. Thought I was filling my tank, drove away only to discover no gas registered on my fuel gauge. Went back and discussed with manager who said he could do nothing. Not a great experience and company is unwilling to hear my side of the story. They refused to come out to my truck to see my gauge and would not take a statement from my me or my wife. Nice easy to get to travel lodge stop with awesome gas prices. At least that was my experience. There is also a Taco Bell inside.

The employee Shakila standing at the Cinnabon counter was extremely rude. My husband stood in front of her counter looking at the tolls. She never even acknowledged him. At one point another employee walked in front of my husband and had a conversation with Shakila. Then my husband asked our son if he wanted anything and Shakila finally looked at him and asked him "whats you gettin SIR". It was so rude, my husband got upset and he was not getting anything and then made the rest of our family put the snacks back so we could go somewhere else. This is not the first time this gas station has let us down. It is always congested with a horrible traffic flow. I recommend driving down just a few hundred feet to the Travel Center. The customer service is way better and it's much easy to get to a pump for gas. read more

This review pertains to the gasoline side of the establishment. The whole side is NOT trailer or large moving truck (box truck) friendly. Gas price was below other stations in the immediate area which makes drivers go there to save a couple of cents and it causes a bottleneck in the small parking lot area, the male restroom was clean. read more

Would not recommend this taco bell at this exit. Just stopped here to get vegetarian bowls and chips and salsa. Requested no dairy and both came with ranch. The chopped tomato salsa on top was only about a tablespoon far from what I get at other taco bells. Said if I wanted more it would be extra. Bought chips and salsa and the salsa container was not even half full. Go to next exit on 95 to see if they are any better. This one was in the Pilot gas center so that could be the problem. read more

September 16 2016, got 15 gallons of diesel fuel in my truck, couldn't even run out of the filling area. The ford dealership that I got towed to guesses that I had 3-5 gallons of water from the bottom of a bulk tank (big rain storm the day before). My truck ran until I filled up at this station. Pilot / flying J say its impossible...... The ford dealership says its impossible that the truck could have run down the road with 1/3 of that water in the tank. about $4,000.00 in fuel system repairs so far and still not running correctly. The communication with Pilot / Flying J is poor, not sure what to at this point. Not cool to get fuel and end up with $4,000.00 in engine problems as well as stranded 750 miles from home. read more
