They let you pick your bread at no extra cost: pancake, toast, or French toast and you can upgrade to a waffle for only $1 We all loved the food, well seasoned but not too salty. Stopped here to eat before getting back on the road. Came in due to all the awesome reviews. We ordered 2 kids meals, two meals and 4 drinks. Our total was just over $50 and slightly higher than I would have said was a good value. The French toast was good, the cinnamon added after was a nice variation, the pictures show berries but it only comes plain. My children's eggs were a little runny, making them inedible for them cause they're picky, but I thought it was fine. My husband loved his omelet. The homes fries were the best part for sure, hot and seasoned and plentiful. The AC seems to be having some condensation issues and left water on the floor. Our server was sweet and friendly. Stopped in during our road trip from Atlanta to Myrtle Beach. This was a pleasant surprise since the downtown Florence area is still being redeveloped. My sweetie grew up coming here to shop & eat but remembers when it was mostly fast food options. We parked for free on the street and entered the restaurant at about noon. Immediately greeted and seated by the hostess. Our server came up next and was super friendly and personable. She explained how the burgers are prepared and we gave our order. There's a small bar for coffee and alcoholic beverages, an area to perform karaoke and several tables throughout. We could see the kitchen was busy (door was open) with food cooking & orders being sent out. Our orders came out really quickly - burger with sweet potato fries, veggie & chicken omelette and a side salad. Very tasty, hot and prepared to our liking. Full of flavor and no complaints. Before we left we added on 2 cookies for our dessert. To top off the experience, the owner came out to talk to customers. She was clearly coming up from a busy lunch shift but chatted with us. The place is named after her youngest daughter! Such a great story and hope this place lasts for years to come. Bonus: Karaoke is every 2nd and 4th Friday evening for a night scene. read more

Stopped in for breakfast and totally enjoyed speaking with the owner, and the nice quiet atmosphere. I had a breakfast sandwich-bacon plentiful and crisp. The bread was not wheat, but Texas toast and a bit greasy, but good. Wayne enjoyed a platter with smoked sausage, grits & French toast - good but could have been a bit warmer. My husband and I visited Florence and stayed down the street from this restaurant. The service was far from good. The waitress gave our drinks to another table and came back to ask us for our drink order again. She was told that we had already given her the order and she confessed to giving it to someone else. My order came out incorrect and I was asked whether I wanted the incorrect item instead and I stated that I did not. It took another 19 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich which would have been good if it was not rushed from the manager reminding the kitchen staff. This good be a wonderful spot if attention is paid to actual drinks are and utensils for eat in and writing down orders. Everyone was everywhere and many patrons orders were incorrect while sitting there. read more

Nice quiet restaurant for breakfast as we were waiting for my father to get out of surgery at a nearby hospital. The grits were well seasoned and the sausage was delicious. They know how to prepare an over well fried egg. Delicious. And dad made it through surgery with flying colors!!! read more

What a find! Staying in Florence for one night, we went out in search of breakfast this morning. Lucky us, to find this gem on North Dargan Street. My wife and I both had the Lily Grits Bowl, and it was wonderful. Hot grits cooked perfectly, topped with an over easy egg and spinach, tomatoes, onions and cheese. Beautifully presented and even better on the palate! Well- brewed coffee and sides (included) of a bagel or cut fruit rounded out our feast. If you live here, lucky you! I am currently sitting in LilJazZi's and I am upset. My boyfriend and I have been here for about 40 mins and have been talked to twice by our server. She asked us our drink order, and then brought it back and took our food order. My boyfriend is completely out of water and our waitress doesn't even know, we also don't have silverware. The ambiance could use some music. It seems like a good place but the slow service is just killing them. They also forgot to bring my coffee I ordered.
