This tea house recently opened near my apartment so I def wanted to try it out. Just as most tea houses: black teas, green teas, cream teas, fresh juices, and coffees are offered. We all worry about our badonkydonks expanding after the consumption of sugar but no worries here my friends. You have the choice of choosing the sugar level of your drink: 0, 25, 75, 100. I think this is the coolest option yet and have not seen this offered in any other tea houses. This pretty much seals the deal for me. I asked the owner for a custom order of a strawberry and coconut cream tea with 75% sugar. Pretty good! My boyfriend ordered the peppermint green tea with 0% sugar. It is easy to confuse GREEN tea with CREAM tea and accidentally received the cream tea instead. Be sure to clarify clearly. Although it was creamy, man oh man was it delish and refreshing! This place is definitely worth checking out! p.s.: their furniture is super comfy read more

This used to be my go to spot in the area. It was conveniently located which accounts for why I used to frequent this spot. I've had a check in offer that I actually tried to redeem when I visited a few months ago. The man working told me I would need my receipts in order to redeem my check-in offer. I was annoyed because a CHECK-IN offer should be just that - but at the time I digressed despite the fact that the offer did not match up with what he was saying. I ordered a mango smoothie (which was too syrupy and not quite blended all the way) and went about my day. Today, I returned with my 3 receipts and attempted to redeem my offer. Honestly, I have a pretty soft speaking voice and I'm calm - all the time! - so imagine my surprise when the woman working rudely said "if you knew how to read carefully you would see that you need to buy four slushies and get the fourth free". UHHHH I'm not going to let you insult me and still give my money to your business. There seems to be confusion between employees as to what the deal is and it seems to have too many stipulations all together. They may as well get rid of the offer rather than insult customers and refuse to honor the deal. There are also a ton of other boba tea spots in the area, I'd suggest any one of those for a more enjoyable taste as well as better customer service. read more

I stopped by to try their cream tea with boba because of a promotion they were running with Five Stars. The store was empty when I arrived, and there was only one employee working. The employee was friendly enough, but was very confused when I told him about the promotion with Five Stars. After a minute or so of confusion, he was eventually able to apply the promo to my order, and then proceeded to work on my drink. The cream tea itself was fine, and although the texture and chewiness of the boba was good, it had absolutely no flavor. I could tell that the boba hadn't been soaked in any kind of sugar mixture, and would strongly recommend that they let it sit in either a honey or sugar mixture, or a combination of both. read more

I went to Bubble Tea House recently with a colleague after lunch. I ordered the Jasmine Green Tea with tapioca and half sugar. My colleague ordered the same thing, but the cream version. My tea was incredibly refreshing and had a great taste. As for the tapioca, I was surprised when I felt those black balls enter my mouth. They were a different consistency than I am used to. The tapioca kept its ball shape in my tea, but as soon as it was in my mouth, I felt how soft it was and how easy it broke apart as I chewed down. Was this a bad thing? No, not necessarily, as I enjoyed the texture, but it's definitely different than what you'll find at other tea shops. I'm a fan so far, and I am curious to try other teas on their menu. What to order: -Jasmine Green Tea w/ tapioca and half sugar - $3.79 Pros: -Option of how sweet you want your drink -Private parking lot Cons: -None read more

I like the sign when walking in, NO this NO that NO this NO that. I forgot to snap a pic of it but yeah if a business ever wanted to make sure you know the rules, this is the place. Too bad I didn't bring my own sign with my own list of NO's because I have some to. My last experience, they were not having a good day. I wont write a bad review on it. I'll just say the banh mi isn't the best. The bread is not fresh and the meats are just not that great. Granted, I eat it. Either I have built a high tolerance on coffee but the coffees just don't get me going here. But they are good as well as other drinks i've had. I've been here a few times and its consistently just a meh experience. If I am in the shopping complex, sometimes I stop in and that's about it. It's ok. read more

Our first time here and our last time here. We just happened to be in the area and this was the only boba place. Our drinks weren't as yummy as we were hoping. I'm a bubble tea fanatic so I would say I know how boba should be made and this place just didn't make it right. I feel like their drinks are made with powder and you can definitely taste it. This seems like a Ma&Pa shop so from the bottom of my heart I really hope their business thrives. I hope their food makes up for the quality of their drinks !! read more

Bubble Tea House - House Special Milk Cream Tea and Thai Green Tea - Bubble Tea Near Me - Houston, Texas

I'm falling in love with their spicy fish ball. I've been trying many "balls" out there, but this place seems to be the best. Love the flavor and the spicy. I'm not a big fan of their non spicy version so if you can handle some heat, order the spicy fish and squid balls. I'm not a big fan of their smoothies, they were ok. But fresh fruit juice and Thai tea were delicious. One big Cons they have is, there is a combo sign that shows buy 2 drink and 1 snak for $10, but anytime I walked in here, I forgot about this. Why? Because they left the sign way in the back, pass the counter where they took the order. Please move the sign to the front so everybody can easily see it (for example, right next to your special board). Over all, I keep coming back for the balls. read more

I found this spot and literally have been coming about 4out of 5 days this week. The normal guy and I say normal because he's always here working diligently alone is always so nice , upbeat and super friendly. When you walk in he knows his customers and treats them with appreciation and respect. Running errands I thought I'd visit again 5th time unfortunately that guy wasn't there. There was a guy there who I found out was the name of EFRON. Let me tell you when I walked in to order wasn't greeted. At the register I told him I'd like a honey ginger black tea hot. He questioned hot ? And I said yes. He wasn't really paying attention and was on an iPad. My daughter it was a first time and with so many options asked for a Boba tapioca. He was then rude again and was stern and told her what yea did you want?! In a very non helpful matter. So we asked ok how do we order then he pretty much began talking to us like we were dumb pointed at the example display of boba on the table and said that's boba it's NOT a tea what tea ??!!! So I paused and asked my daughter and with no further help or explanation of him she chose a taro cream. He then continued on the iPad for another 4m lol. Didn't start the orders . Another young guy walked in other customers walked in he greeted them They took their order then started on the iPads again! He finally started our orders slightly . So because I. Could see our drinks just sitting and not being attended to I politely asked for a refund so we can just order elsewhere. Enron says your drinks are ready ! I said Ok where are they lol. He finished them and gave them to us. Mine wasn't hot but lukewarm barely without ginger. When I mentioned it was accurate he had an attitude and questioned I asked for ginger ! I've ordered this only drink many times I think I know what I ordered lol. I told him no I'll just take the refund for mine primary because you're very rude and because my daughters was fine. He told me he was not being rude to me and wanted to argue !! I asked who was the manager and he said he will be here Monday like I told you ! And just kept arguing with me. I was like yeah no this isn't ok I've never had this disrespect from this place before ! After he kept arguing with me even his co worker was telling him to stop but he wouldn't he needed to argue. I told him I can talk to the young Asian guy because he's just too disrespectful. I got me refund and left read more

Okay. Not cool. I came here to kill time before picking up my mom from her work and this was the closest place. I brought my backpack as well so that I could do work and not sit here for an hour staring at my phone. Upon coming in, I noticed signs that were worth mentioning or keeping in mind. Apparently people bring in fake money. This is definitely the first that I have ever seen a boba place make signs stating that "See any FAKE Money, will call Police to report". Interesting. I wouldn't have thought people do that. But then again, there are some untruthful and unethical people out there in this world. The interior is not so bad. Plenty of seating, although, I'm not fond of the orange furniture. But hey, to each their own, right? Lots of outlets near every table and couch. Nice. They offer a yelp check-in offer of 1 free sinker. I definitely took advantage of that. I ordered a Peach Green tea with regular sized boba. The peach green tea itself was not bad at all. Definitely could taste the green tea. However the boba is another story. Absolutely hated the boba. It was incredibly CHEWY. Boba should not be THAT chewy. It should have a firm but not too hard and not TOO chewy taste. The tapioca was a huge disappointment. Terrible. I usually don't say such negative things about much, but man, this was yuck. And I'm usually easy to please too. I am definitely sticking to my usual boba place. Kung Fu Tea. They have the BEST boba and they are so consistent in taste. Welp. Not ordering tapioca. read more

Well I am very thankful to have a tea house close to my new apt for those times I am not in the mood to make a drive to my fave place; seriously it is just over a mile from my new apt. Their black milk tea is super sweet and reminiscent of Kung Fu Tea's milk tea; I am more of a fan of a more floral tea that is stronger than what is served here. The green milk tea is super floral and also very sweet; I may have to request light on the sugar next time. Their Thai Tea is awesome! It is a perfect mix of strong and sweet and creamy and rich; this is my 2nd fave from here. They have an oolong milk tea that is AWESEOME! I find it to be floral with a perfect balance of sweetness; this one is definitely my fave! The ambiance here cool, hip and intimate as well; it is small but there are plenty of seats and even couches. They also serve food here, and it smells so good; they have banh mi, fish balls, fries and shrimp wonton soup just to name a few. From what I have seen, they have specials on food & drink combos as well. I am super excited to see that their drinks are lactose free since the beau is lactose intolerant, and I will be able to suggest coming here to get drinks without having to worry about his tum tum, lol. read more

Food was pretty good. My friend and I ordered the popcorn chicken and fries. For drinks, we had a honey green tea and honey cream tea. I ordered my honey green tea extra sweet but it wasn't sweet at all. The tea color was also a littler darker than usual which probably means it had more old green tea (I used to work at a tapioca shop). The girl working was grumpy. Or she wasn't having a good day or WHATEVER. So-so. I think I will stick to Chinatown. read more

Bubble Tea House - Bubble Tea Near Me - Houston, Texas

This place is decent. I usually carry very little to no cash with me so it's a bit bothersome when I'm just wanting to get a drink and I end up having to buy other things to meet their "at least $5" card rule. They have good bahn mi's and popcorn chicken. Their drinks are good too, but sometimes they put too much sugar. So this time I asked for "less" sugar in my milk tea/cream tea/whatever you wanna call it (which is one step down from regular sugar) and my drink tasted like it had half sugar or very little. I was a bit disappointed :( The ladies at the counter are usually nice, nothing notable. I'll still continue to come here though since it's close to home and I don't go to Chinatown much! read more

Cashier was sweet but didn't seem to throughly know how to answer my questions about the drinks. Place smelled a bit weird when I walked in. Didn't seem like a really well maintained place, but the tea tasted ok-- but maybe it shouldn't have. Learned today via chron.com that they had 17 inspection demerits including: "Observed mildew in ice machine. Clean /maintain ice making machine to prevent contamination of the ice"... Won't be going back. read more

I think I've been spoiled by the wide selection of boba tea shops available in Chinatown, perhaps hence my low rating, but this drink shop has many areas to improve. I ordered their special peach oolong tea with crystal bobas and a simple black tea with regular bobas, both light ice. The drinks were lackluster. The oolong tea lacks the flavor and roast of real oolong tea, and the peach flavor tastes artificial. The black tea tasted water-downed, no tea flavor, and the boba was not and chewy. When I bit into it, I could taste the hard inside. On the positive note, inside of the shop is clean and the decors were cute. read more

I come here almost every week. Everyone knows my order by now haha... The mango smoothie with low sugar and boba is just a part of my life now! The boba is the best. Everywhere else I go the boba doesn't compare to this place. It's jumbo and chewy and delicious. I would prefer a chunkier smoothie but honestly I drink this so fast I don't care that much. Also their popcorn chicken is to die for. I love it. The perfect snack or quick lunch. Get it spicy if you dare ~ I will continue to be a customer! So yummy. read more

I went here for the first time this week and let me tell you it won't be the last! I wasn't very hungry but I was looking for a good bubble tea and a light snack. Immediately upon arrival I was greeted and told the wait time, (remember it's COVID, and it was only one employee) The guy was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. He suggested the chicken fried rice and it was amazingly delicious! I'd definitely recommend and will be coming back. read more

I ordered a house milk tea, fried fish cake, and miso fried rice. This was THE most delicious Vietnamese meal that I've had in a very long time. Will definitely visit here for my next Vietnamese meal over the plethora of other places in the area... 5 STARS HANDS DOWN!! read more

My new favorite place! The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. There is a huge variety of drinks and snacks on the menu and what I've had so far is delicious. Meh, good in a pinch but I'd rather drive to Chinatown to get Sharetea. I got the Jasmine Milk Tea which was fine but way too sweet and not jasmine-y enough. The ladies behind the counter were nice. Restrooms were clean. I'm sure I'll be back if I'm craving boba but not otherwise. read more

Ring the alarm! There is actually a legit bubble tea place outside of bellaire.Yeah, it's no Teahouse or Tapioca House, but it comes close. As the others have mentioned, I love the bright and bubbly decor--green walls and orange chairs. I ordered the regular cream tea with tapioca and my friend ordered a coffee. The tapioca was pretty good, no complaints :) The price was around 3 bucks what I got, which is pretty average. Another plus is that they don't have a minimum charge to use your credit card (I've encountered several other places that have this policy). They also have free wifi and adequate seating for long conversations or study sessions. The cashiers were friendly and had a smile on their faces. I would definitely stop by here again if I am craving bubble tea. read more

They have mango pudding! Yippee! Check in for free boba or your choice of "sinker!" If they don't tell you about sugar options or giving your phone number for $3 credit after every $30, they might know that you're gonna buy one drink and stay there for several hours... like me, haha. :) I liked my jasmine milk tea, especially since they have mango pudding. Not all tap places have it! AND the pudding was FREE with yelp check-in! I love yelp!!! The milk tea (I didn't tell them how sweet I wanted it) was the perfect amount of sweetness since I don't like my drinks too sweet. It's made from powder though, in case y'all don't like that. I didn't mind! The mango pudding was sweet and flavorful. Both drinks were $2.98 each. What I liked: - Very quiet, which is a good thing (but please don't go out of business!) - They offer food, can't tell you how good it is. - Free internet - Lots of tables - The punch system - just give them your number and use it each time. In general, I think for this area, it is a great addition! read more

During the pandemic my family and I still love coming here while social distancing. Today, It is pouring down rain and the employee saw us park and saw us trying to locate an umbrella to get out. He came out to the car with an umbrella and proceeded to take our order in our car to make sure we didn't have to get out and get wet! He was super nice and we really appreciated him going the extra mile! I will continue to come here because of their great drinks and food and their great customer service!! read more

First time, one-hitta-quitta! Came here and came back and didn't look back, how 'bout that! Avocado never tasted so smoothly than when I guzzled it down, although reluctantly, but rewardingly. It was suggested by the clerk, who also said everything is good... & I won't argue. So far their BBQ pork sammich is decent and their milk tea is signature. It's even cool to chill inside. On my lunch break when I just need a change of scenery I can relax on the couch and watch something on the flat screen. Clean is how they keep it, but the one employee during busy times is the only drag, especially when you want to get-in and get-out. Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing but my decision to go on a liquid diet for a few days; I'm glad I know about Bubble Tea House for that matter. read more

I really like this place! I've been here a few times and enjoy trying different teas. The bahn mi is decent, although a bit skimpy with the meat. I haven't tried other food items but I will. I also like that you can pick your level of sweetness in your drink. I've never encountered that option before and am happy with having the option here. Definitely a great place to swing in if you live or work in the area. Parking is not the best, as they only have a couple of dedicated spots which sucks if the weather isn't great. read more

I miss bubble tea in my home town of Atlanta. I really do. It's hard to find a good spot anymore, much less one with a variety of flavors. Figured in Texas it would be even more difficult to find, so when I spied this place while waiting to meet up with someone in the shopping center parking lot, I bolted for the door. Bubble tea? YES. What I found was an incredible number of flavors to choose from, though I kept to my love and went with Taro. Even better: The sugar levels can be adjusted to your liking! Knowing taro is often sweeter anyway, I asked for less sugar. It was made just right and had enough sweetness to be refreshing without giving you a sugar rush. Yum! For three bubble teas, it came to just over $12 including tax. That seems about right compared to other places, and that's because we added the boba. You can get every flavor without the boba and save yourself a little extra cash (but why would you leave behind the boba?!). read more

This place's downfall is probably their banh mi sandwiches. Compared to other banh mi sandwich places around the area, their sandwich is probably the cheapest at $3.50 but you get what you pay for. There's too much bread and not enough sauce/ meat. I got the bbq pork and bf got teriyaki chicken. We totally compared it to our favorite place down the street but in general, their sandwiches are mediocre. read more
