When I walked in, the store was empty, but shortly after I placed my order, a lady came in followed by two young men, so it started to pick up. Since he was the only one there, I did have to wait a bit for my order, about 10 minutes... but he handled everything like he was used to working by himself. He really held it down. When my order was ready, he brought it out, set it down, and walked away without saying anything. Been wanting to go here for some time, and decided to stop on by. When we entered, we were greeted upon arrival by the gentleman in the back, making these smoothies. When we got to the register, the cashier just stared at us, and then we proceeded to place our order. No welcome in, know how may I help you, just a mean, looking face. As we paid, and we were speaking to one another as we waited, I observed the interaction, and none of the workers were speaking to one another, no smiling. Definitely very poor etiquette when it comes to Customer Service, and it is ironic, as I come here today to make this review, less than 24 hours, somebody else mentions the same thing. Everyone looks so miserable, as if they hated their lives, and did not want to be there. Can't really mention anything about the ambience, but it was clean, well kept, and air-conditioned. First impression of this new Cafe was impeccable. Although located in a busy strip on Briar Forest and Eldridge along with Starbucks they have two reserved To Go spots right up front. Being 40 weeks pregnant I really appreciated that. I've been craving fruit and juice all day and I noticed the big bright sign as I was driving past a few hours earlier. I had a few minutes before my nail appointment so I decided to pull up. The advertisement on the window displayed a watermelon mojito flavored smoothie and I knew I was exactly where I should be. I was craving watermelon juice around breakfast but couldn't get it. I left the car running, walked in and was immediately greeted by who I believe was the owner or manager. Very friendly. I ordered the drink advertised..I then asked the size and he said 24oz. I was like wow. Totally worth the $5.79. He said it was enough to sip on for two hours and we joked about all the bathroom breaks I'm probably going to have to take. He got my name for the order and called one of the guys from the kitchen to make my drink. He worked with him to ensure the proper ingredients were used. Staff was very upbeat, neat appearance and friendly. I sat down to wait vbut my drink was ready less than two minutes later. The employee was super nice and brought it to my with a straw. Pretty solid smoothie joint. They had some yummy smoothie choices and you can certainly customize, if you wish. I ordered the Açaí Berry Boost and sampled my boyfriend's Peanut Paradise. They were both pretty tasty. The only thing I found odd was that they only had one size (huge). It's not a big deal since they are very reasonably priced but it's just uncommon and possibly annoying if you only want a small smoothie. The chicken quesadilla was surprisingly good. My first time trying them was great. The service went fast, I think the wraps are pre made but it still tasted pretty fresh. The smoothie was so thick but went thru the straw without any problems and it tasted fairly delicious despite it not being as sweet as I desired. Customer service was cool, nothing spectacular but not horrible. My favorite thing was how big the smoothies were. I got food poisoning from this location. Their food isn't fresh. Beware! I called them to let them know and I asked for a manager. The young lady who answered told me that the manager wasn't in. And then I said when will she be in and she asked if it was about a job. I then told her no. Then she replied she was a manager. That's so unprofessional! I told her about the food that gave me food poisoning, she said she would let the store manager know. Explored this new spot for the first time on this week when I was stuck with soft foods from dental surgery. The staff were friendly and explained the menu thoroughly. I decided on the Chia Banana Boost Smoothie which contains no dairy. The cons are there are no small smoothies and the portion size is huge. The only small portion are for kids. I paid approximately 6 bucks for my smoothie. I personally don't feel this location will be open long due to cost. There are cheaper options for smoothie in the area. I've been to this location before and they usually are understaffed but I don't mind waiting! But what I do mind is when the app and online states they are open at 10 am on sundays. I placed an order through the app and when I pull up to pick up my order the door was locked lights off. I was unable to cancel the order since it was an asap order so my card was charged and I had to go through support to submit a ticket to get a refund. My first experience could definitely have been better... when I entered, I was greeted with a whisper of a "hi. Welcome." I then proceeded to the register to look at the menu. Both employees stood there in silence looking at me. I mentioned that it was my first time and they ignored me. I was hoping for recommendations or some assistance since the menu is quite lengthy. I stood and looked at the menu for about 5-6 minutes in silence. I couldn't decide so I just asked them, " I want tropical ingredients. What do you recommend?" The employee then started her recommendations which were good ones, though she is quite soft spoken. I went with the sunshine and she proceeded to ring me up. After I paid, I looked down at the register and then saw that I could've added onto my drink! I would've loved to add some chia seeds or some boosts, but it was too late. I wish they would've upsell Ed or mentioned it so I could add them on and they would've made a few more dollars from me adding 3-4 things. The smoothie itself started bland and thick but after about 30 minutes it tasted good, sweet, & tropical. I would and will definitely come back again to give them a second chance. I LOVE that they have tap to pay. I'm not a huge smoothie fan but I think it's pretty impressive that they offer food such as quesadillas. I think it is weird that they are located right next to a cupcake store. I'm cheap so 8, 9, $10 for a smoothie just seems outrageous. That could be the regular prices though, I just don't drink smoothies that often to really know. Parking was easy. The venue is shared with other storefronts, so it is a possibility that it could be a hassle to park but I don't foresee that with this parking space. It's not a bad place, I don't think I'm going to rush to come back, but that's because smoothies don't get my engine going. read more

I'm disappointed. I drive 15 out of my way, opposite of work, to try a smoothie. I recently had surgery and am on full liquids and am limited on what I can have for breakfast. I looked at the menu and the smoothies looked tasty. I arrive at 8am and no one is at the store. It's dark and the open sign is not on. I read reviews and still decided to form my own opinion; that was a mistake. I'm now going to be late for work, as I have to stop somewhere else and try to find something I can have for breakfast, with my limitations. The smoothies here are pretty good and it's so close to home. I got the GUAVA MARGARITA, which consists of guava, strawberry, mango, pineapple, and lime and it's my favorite. It's very refreshing and sweet. The bits of lime can make it a bit bitter, but the other ingredients help to sort that out. The WATERMELON MOJITO is okay. It's not as sweet, but the fresh watermelon, strawberries, and mint and lime makes it refreshing. CHICKEN PESTO- grilled chicken, tomatoes, shredded parmesan, mozzarella, and pesto I like that this flatbread is light, but has some good flavors. The pesto is very green and herb-y, which complements the sweet grilled chicken. It's a light meal, but it's good. Both of these drinks are on the seasonal menu and I have yet to try their other drinks so I'll eventually order those. I'll be back again. read more

A girl with red braids and a green jacket was simply sitting there on her phone though it was apparent that we were standing there waiting to order. Checked this place out today and got the superfood muscle blaster with pea protein. I agree with what other yelpers have said about the customer service just being okay. The staff are awesome!! The owner has very poor customer service. I visit the store daily and sometimes twice. So when I receive rewards I'll like to use them. Once you press button to redeem reward you only have a certain amount of time to redeem. I worked here for about 2 weeks and I'm only here to warn customers to stay away. The manager doesn't believe in "wasting water" so at the end of the night he had us take all the dirty dishes, ones used for customer and the dishes used to prep food and had us rinse the dirty dishes in water. NO soap. NO sponges, JUST DIRTY WATER. It's the filthiest dirtiest thing I've ever witnessed in my life. They literally take dirty dishes and rinse them in water that's already dirty as sewage water. On top of that the food used to cook the food has a horrible smell and theirs always cockroaches roaming around in the back near the food. I wouldn't eat here even if I was paid. I normally come to this location in the morning for breakfast because the guy in the morning is amazing, but I will not be coming back anymore. I literally just came to this location on Saturday (8/14/21 at 1:57 p.m.) for once and received the worst service ever. I walked in and was not greeted. The black guy was on his phone and did not acknowledge us at all. I waited to see if someone was coming to serve us since the young guy at the front said nothing as I walked in. Then a young lady came from the back to take my order. As I waited for my order the young guy literally stared at me as if I had done something to him. I have been wanting a smoothie place in the neighborhood for a long time. This place is close to my apartment and has a really great value! They give you huge smoothies and its less than $7. They make it really easy to substitute ingredients and have several boosts that you can add in. I'm so excited about this place.
