Traveling in town for work, the reviews are right. Incredible pierogis and cabbage rolls! Will definitely. Had the platter in their cozy dining area and there was a lot of foot traffic. Will be back for more. The staff was friendly and more than willing to help with anything. Super glad we went!

Yum! Pretty good Polish spot in Greensburg. I had the polish platter that came with a stuffed cabbage, haluski and pierogies. Everything was good! The stuffed cabbage tasted a little different than what I am used to/expected but that's the fun in dining out. My husband had the kielbasa sandwich and liked it but thought it was missing some sort of sauce. The sauerkraut was very good. We placed our order for takeout and it was ready in a prompt amount of time. This spot also is well known for their pizza which I thought was an interesting combination for a restaurant haha. Would definitely try this place again when I'm in the mood for Polish food!

Food was excellent ! We got the roast beef sandwich, roast beef pizza, granddads chicken lips, potato and cheese perogies, fish sandwich, polish platter was . Also the strawberry&cream Perogies ! Food came fast and hot. Checkout was easy too. So far the best place I've had good polish eats. Service was awesome. Outside had parking and the inside made you feel at home. We will be back

I very seldom buy food out due to the price. I bought the fish sandwich and it tasted old and a little rubbery. A waste of 13+ dollars.

MY FAVORITE PIEROGIS IN PITTSBURGH…read more Ever since I had this spot for the first time over three years ago when I lived in Coraopolis I haven't had a desire to go anywhere else for pierogis When I moved out here 2 years ago and found out there was one 10min up the road from me in the Wexford Plaza I nearly shedded a tear. This is actually my first time trying everything else as well The pierogis. Elite. Not pan fried or dropped in a frier. A good pierogis doesn't need that and you can't change my mind. Not thick in the dough or BATHED IN BUTTER. Fucking hate when places drowned them in butter We got, spinach and ricotta, buffalo chicken and potato and cheese. spinach and ricotta will always be my favorite pierogi BUT depending on my mood and of these 3 can be best to me The Halupki was fine. Won't recommend it. Filling was bland as fuck but the cabbage and sauce were great. Just give me that without the filling Haluski. Phenomenal. I've grown up with Haluski always being with bow tie noodles. Cam and I fight about this now an she can't change my mind so NONE of you can. But curious nonetheless to what you're used to The sauerkraut. Been awhile since I've one that kicked my dick in like this. Fermented long so niceee and vinegary AND has some of the tomato sauce in it. Elite THE KIELBASA OUT OF LEFT FIELD WHAT IN THE FUCK. This is undoubtedly the best I've ever had. Even if you don't like pierogis go for this alone. The smoke in each bite was something you get from a true BBQ spot I only have three other spots that interest me that I know will be contenders for my current favorite. Cop Out, Starlite Lounge and Polska Forgotten Taste REMAINS SUPREME. I regret not getting a gnocchi dish. Please get one for me Owners are Eastern European. As far as I can tell, they run a normal menu Wednesday through Friday, then offer a special buffet on Saturdays. We checked out the Saturday buffet, and the overall experience was amazing. It's important to make reservations ahead of time, but when you do show up, they present a light brothy soup and a basket of bread almost immediately. At that point, the buffet is filled with a range of different hand crafted items. My partner loves Hungarian food, and I was a little nervous about the availability of vegetarian options for me. That turned out not to be an issue. They had a whole section of vegetarian options along with a salad bar. The whole experience was phenomenal, with a low key live accordion performance in the background. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for incredible, authentic pierogies around Pittsburgh, Cop Out Pierogies in Etna is a must-visit. The first thing you notice is the outstanding quality and freshness of the dough, which is always perfectly tender and never too heavy. What really makes them stand out is their massive variety of fillings, ranging from the traditional potato and cheese to wilder options like buffalo chicken or even dessert flavors. The portions are generous and you can tell everything is made from scratch with a lot of care. It's easily one of the best spots in the city to satisfy a serious pierogi craving.

Let me describe Cop Out like this…read more.. Think of any Friday during lent. Walking hand in hand with your grandma. Uphill, usually in the rain or, more likely, snow flurries. Think of walking into the basement of her old, very old, church. Looking around at all the old white haired ladies, (old is relative now...) as they smile and have a word or two or ten for everyone who walks into the door. Think of the smell of frying onions. Frying in lots and lots of butter. Grandma taking you by the hand, telling shy you to say hi to her friend Dorothy or Deloris or Irene. (No Taylors or Brianna's here, thank you very much). Grandma let's go of your hand while she digs into her little change purse for her rolled up bills and some loose change on the bottom. She smiles at you as she hands you an extra quarter - you smile back because you know that means cake at the little table in the back of the room. Grandma takes two plates, each holding a handful of lightly pan fried, doughy (but not too doughy) pierogis. Covered in fried onions and dripping with butter. A dollop of sour cream on the side. Today it's potato and sauerkraut. Last week was potato and cheese. I can't wait to see if next week is farmers cheese. If you can close your eyes and remember that walk. If you can still see Gladys. If you can still taste the buttery onions. If you can still feel the love that you and your grandma shared. If you can do all of this, then I can guarantee you will love Cop Out. For those of you who have never experienced pierogis purchased in a church basement during lent; I still guarantee you'll like Cop Out. I live 800 miles away. I can't think of a single church that serves pierogis, especially homemade ones. We are in the Deep South, afterall. I do take my grandkids to fish fries during lent. I hope I'm making similar memories for them, though even the best piece of fish fry fish is no match for the pierogis that both the church ladies and Cop Out dish out.
