My first time at the new establishment. My wife spoke very highly of her first visit and couldn't wait to have us all visit as a family. First it's a very nice place, lots of TVs, a great place to catch some sporting games. I ordered their nachos as an appetizer and they were good so that was a good start. My dinner meal was entirely too salty, I had the cheese steak with French fries. I couldn't finish half of my cheesesteak, the bite of salt was just too much. They also messed up my sons order a couple of times. In addition, they gave my sister in law a hard time for wanting to have an alcoholic beverage. She's 36 years old but did not have her ID. The manager came by and was pretty rude about her drinking off a drink my mother in law ordered. I get it, he's just protecting the business, but it was a crappy way to start our meal. I found this place about 6 weeks ago. I've been here 5 out of the last 6 Saturdays. The food is really good, the staff is friendly and do a great job. My only problem is their onion rings. There's not much flavor to them, and they could be a little crispier. I think they need to cook them a little longer. Other than that, I love the place. I'm 62 years old and I love burgers! My daughter and her boyfriend took me to this place for lunch today. I feel like any burger for the rest of my life will not live up to this burger. I have the spicy habanero burger with the fire fries and a big tall cold beer.! I literally think that I ate like the best meal ever. I feel like if I were in prison and they asked me for one last meal that this would be what I would order maybe a bigger beer. The burger was huge cooked beautifully. The fries were so absolutely flavorful. The burger has so much Happy spicy beautiful joy of spice. I literally could not be happier and this was hands-down the best burger ever. I tried to take a picture, but I was shoving it too fast!!! This is literally if I was to have a last meal. This is be what I wanted. This is hands-down, like the best burger ever and apparently all the other food is pretty fantastic but this is gonna be my burger for life. This is a huge place. They got a great bar. They see 448. My wife and I frequent Bubba's 33 often. Since discovering this Texas Roadhouse owned restaurant and discovered there great hamburgers we can't get enough. Big 1/2 burgers with a big selection, their onion rings and cold brew it's hard to beat! read more

First time at any Bubba's 33 and my experience was great. Service fantastic, Jamie our server was great took just enough time to be engaging and being efficient. Food that my other family members got was better than mine. My was just plain cheese burger which was good but not great. Inside is very nice, clean, a lot of TVs with sports on, high energy vibe. Got a free Bubba's cup with a free appetizer coupon for first time visit from GM who was also very nice. We have one being built in Yuma soon so let's know no forward to it. Thanks read more

Waitlist in the app said 0-10 minutes at 1:10 so we put in our name because we were about 5 minutes away, Check in at the hostess when we get there and they said 20-25 minutes because they "got slammed". Went back to the hostess stand 30 minute later because we still weren't seated and people who got there after us had been. We were told another 15 minutes while they cleared a table. Well how about one of the 3 people standing around at the host stand take some initiative and clear the table themselves. And what's the point of putting my name on the waitlist in the app? Shouldn't we have Ben seated before all the people who got on the list after us in person who caused it to "be slammed"? Or are the app waitlist times wrong? Even if they are the host shouldn't have been off by 20 minutes. Theresa a huge difference between a 20 minute wait and a 45 minute wait. Waitress was nice but service was so slow. We were there from 1:17 - 3:20. Over two hours for lunch. We barely had time to eat our food because the kids had to be at work at 4. Went here for the Super Bowl, "BIG MISTAKE" food and server were fine, however, drinks were watered down and we could not hear the game! Myself and the table next to me asked the on duty manager if he could turn the volume up, he stated " I hear it just fine, it's coming from over there(pointing towards the other side of the room) we reiterated that we couldn't hear! The manager just walked away! The guys at the next table got up and left, a few minutes later another table left for the same reason, we left at the end of the first quarter! Meh. It's your basic corporate restaurant. The menu is just like you would expect at Texas Road House, Chili's, Applebee's, Chotchkie's... you get the drift. The beer menu is just the usual nationally available beer, and no local beers. The food was good. The place just lacks that "vibe" that makes it a local place. Maybe in the future some college and pro team fans start filling the place, but until then it just seems it tries too hard. To start off, my friends had made a dinner reservation and when we got to the restaurant, they gave our reserved tables to another party. When we discussed it with the hostess and the manager, both individuals were not even apologetic and in fact, the hostess was being rude and making faces. We ordered some wings and they were not even tasty. I would give the food a thumbs down and another thumbs down for the way management handled the table reservation situation and another thumbs down for the hostess being rude. We ate here last weekend for a belated birthday celebration and had zero complaints. Yes they do play music in the background but it was not blasting like some have suggested, at least not while we were there. This place is a sports bar so they offer bar-type food, nothing fancy, but definitely good! Nachos for an appetizer was a good choice, big portions as well. I had a chicken sandwich which was tasty. Everyone seemed happy with what they ordered. Our server was great as well. She checked on us just the right amount of times during our visit, maybe 3 or so, which was perfect. Again, we had no complaints and will definitely visit again. The ambiance and atmosphere of the place were great, but unfortunately, the service was by far one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. It took quite a while for our server to even greet us. We placed our drink order right away, but it took 40 minutes just to receive our first round. When the server returned to our table, she seemed surprised that we still hadn't received our drinks. Instead of taking our food order at that time, she said she'd check on the drinks and just walked away. This happened two more times--each time with her acting surprised and then walking off without resolving the issue or taking our order. Once we finally received our drinks, we immediately placed a second drink order, anticipating another long wait. When we asked what juices were available for the kids, the server replied, "I'm not a bartender, so I'm not sure," which was disappointing and unhelpful. We eventually placed our food order, but it took a long time to arrive and, unfortunately, the food was cold when it was served. From the time we were seated to the time we left, we were there for three hours--far too long for what should have been a simple meal. I might consider giving this place another try in a year, assuming they work out the service issues. Until then, I can't recommend it based on this experience. read more

I ordered a mango iced tea, which I have had several times in the west valley location, and was surprised when it did not have fresh mango and great mango flavor. I asked about it and the server said not everyone likes that. I explained that I fade been to the west valley location several times and it has been served to me with the fresh mango every time. She brought me one, and never offered a refill. At the west valley location, they don't even ask if I'd like another, they just bring it, and then they do offer to fix one to go. I did ask for one to go which was provided. Our burgers were delicious. The ambiance was ok. It is much higher energy at the west valley location. I hope they build one in Gilbert soon, but with the ambiance of the west valley location! read more
