Decent sports bar with plenty of food options. Tasty onions rings and fine burgers, not much to complain about.

We went Friday night and it took 10 min for our waitress to come. When she does come she takes out drink order and asked to see my dad's ID because he orders an adult beverage. He shows his temp and says she needs a real one and she has no one of telling if my dad is of age and storms off with my dad's I'd and didn't finish our drink order. (Mind you my father has white hair and wrinkles) (it's obvious he's an ooooold man) she came back with the owner. The owner stays going off about how she's sorry because she has to approve it and they are having and emergency meeting because they had to call the cops on a man that morning. She walked off and we were more confused. Non of that shit was any of our business just says yes get the old man a beer and walk off. I don't need the owners life story. Alsooooo........ Went to bubbas this weekend 1/23/26, and ordered a pepperoni pizza . We got the 12 in (6 slices) , and I ate 3 pieces, then I grabbed my fourth piece and as I was eating it, mind you I fold my pizza inwards to make it like a taco so I can dip it in ranch, so as I was eating I noticed something didn't look right. On the bottom of the pizza (crust) , was MOLD! I immediately got grossed out and put the slice down. I got the manager and she came up to our table and asked , "what kind of pizza was this?" Like if it matters ... and I said "pepperoni " , she then takes the plate with my pizza slice on it to the back. She comes back out after a couple of minutes and says , the cooks or I don't know who, but she goes, "they said it's just from a label" ... WHAT , first off why would a 'label' be on the dough if they bake pizzas fresh? Shouldn't it be on the outside if the dough is prepped and set aside with ceran wrapping and then a label ? So I just looked at her and said okay, which you'll see in the picture, the 'label' could NOT create : FURRY, GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE/BLACK discoloring BAKED in the crust . I was very disappointed to be told / gaslighted and lied to , that it was from a 'label' that did that.. Clearly not! it was clear as day that it is mold, very DISGUSTED , and who knows how much I ate , because I noticed it in my 4th slice ... Will never eat here again .. 2nd visit to come back for the side salad, with the crunchy potato on top! Love that everything is made from scratch, you can definitely tell that it is. Garlic knots with yummy cheese and marinara sauce, and our dinners were the seasoned salmon on chili lime sweet rice. With salad of course, and my husband got the shrimp with tots and salad. Currently it's the FIFA World Cup. The burgers are the best in town. This is one of the few places that offer onion rings, they're good. The side salad is huge and worth the extra.The Philly Cheese Steak is a little salty and a little greasy though it is loaded with meat. But leave the hearing aides at home and bring ear plugs. Every other screen is dedicated to the soccer games, OK. Unfortunately the sound volume rivals a hard rock concert. The music and funny videos are playing at normal volume, but the soccer game is playing louder than they are! Customers are talking louder so they can hear each other. You can barely hear the server, and as the people behind us loudly said, "did you get the managers name? I couldn't hear her," We asked the seater to put us somewhere quieter. Smiling she placed us between two speakers. We asked the waiter if they could turn it down. He said they've been asking and the manager won't do it. I guess they wanted the kitchen staff to be able to hear it, while they're taking out the trash. Food was good, clean area, but there is every possibility that something will show up wrong on your order, like ours, because the sound is so loud. And you have tinnitus get ready. read more

I went to Bubba's 33 shortly after they opened and was having an enjoyable evening with my wife when I was served my 3rd adult beverage I was told I had to order food if I wanted another. I ordered some nachos to share with my wife but after ordering the food I was informed I had to order a meal for myself and not share a dish. Celebrating today! I tried a cherry limeade and a blackberry smash. The blackberry one was my favorite. We tried the mozzarella sticks as I had a free coupon. They were alright. We tried ordering online but the checkout page kept locking us in a loading screen. Didn't matter if it was from a smart phone or a computer. Eventually we found out that being connected to a VPN was the problem. After ordering, our food was ready in about 25 minutes. The food was ok but the prices are a little high for what you get. Our group of three each planned on getting one entree, no sides, no appetizers, and no drinks, and the costs would have been close to $60 including tax. We decided to get different items and share which brought our costs down to about $45. We tried the BBQ chicken pizza and it was really disappointing. It was mostly crust and the cooks went light with the toppings. We needed to reheat it when we got home because it was cold. At least it tasted good after that but it's not worth the $17.50 price tag. We were going to get a custom pizza until we found out that a plain 12" costs $13.50 and each topping was an additional $2. For some reason the online menu wouldn't let us choose from all of the pizza toppings. Some toppings like green chile, banana peppers, BBQ sauce, Buffalo sauce, blue cheese, pepper jack cheese, and a few others, were on certain pizzas and you can add them to an existing pizza from the menu for an extra charge, but you can't add them to a build-your-own pizza. The Shotgun Shrimp Po'Boy was pretty good. It was a large sandwich and came with a large helping of fries and half a lemon. We got a side a ranch dressing with it. Not bad for $14.50. The boneless wings were not very good. An order of 6 pieces cost $9 and we chose the Cajun spice rub. The rub had very little flavor and the chicken meat was slightly pink in the middle. We chose blue cheese for the dressing. We also received an extra set of two smaller cups of ranch dressing and two small cups of the Bubba sauce, whatever that is. We might get food from here again, but not right away. We're definitely not dining in because of how bad the service (based on other reviews) is and the fact that the music in the restaurant is obscenely loud. read more

Came in to celebrate my buddy's birthday and the experience was completely ruined by our server, Elena. The service was honestly terrible. From the moment we sat down, everything was slow, unorganized, and frustrating. We were ignored for long stretches, had to ask multiple times for basic things, and it felt like we were an inconvenience instead of customers. Having been here a few times before already for work, I find this place to be one of my favorites when I travel here for work. It's full of distractions (if you like that), and has a cool square bar area. Besides the pizza, which its homemade (the same way I would make mine), definitely give the boneless wings a try. You'll find that they aren't the typical boneless wings you'd expect, but more like sauced chunks of chicken. As long as it stays open, I'll be coming back again and again... read more

Last two times have been horrible, but this time was the worst. Order a Philly with light green chile and it was loaded but it was on extra soggy bread which I've never had. And when I placed the order I wasn't able to eat with my family I was able to take it home to eat when simply i came out to eat a meal with my family. But at least my beer was good. read more

I came in yesterday with my husband and kids and had a wonderful server named Gianna. She was incredibly friendly and bubbly and even helped my husband and I choose our meals for the evening. I had the blue cheese burger while my husband had fish and chips with the hot fries. Very good food and service. We will definitely be coming back to see Gianna again!! read more

First time going to Bubba's. Took my wife for lunch, and even though they were busy, they sat us right of way. Our waitress was phenomenal and got everything right. Food did take some time, but once we got our food, it was top quality. I got an avocado burger and my wife avocado turkey sandwich. Prices are reasonable and they give you a lot. From the reviews, not everyone was happy with their service, but we didn't have any issue. At the end of the day, it all depends on who your server is and who's cooking your food in the kitchen. read more

After waiting over a year for Bubba's 33 to finally open their doors for business, today was the day we went there for lunch. They were only open for their 4th day for business, and we were amazed how everyone seemed to have their act together. We started out with a half order of onion rings which were great. For our meals, my wife had the fish and chips with Cole slaw, and I had their super stromboli. Those choices were very good also. Our waiter (first job as a server) was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Also, at least 2 other restaurant employees stopped by our table to check on us. I had the Habanera burger; my wife had the Green Chili Burger. The food was fine (actually better than good). The issue was the service, particularly the amount of time between our requests and delivery. We tried to order a bottle of wine but they only serve by the glass. It took 30 minutes to get our wine and then they took our orders. Another 45 minutes to get the food which is unacceptable IMO. First time at Bubba's 33. It's a cute restaurant and bar with TVs around the walls, custom made seats around the bar, and a menu that features pizza, burgers, and other traditional bar food. I had the ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked well but there was a lot of inedible fat and gristle. The gravy in the mashed potatoes was a white gravy with sausage (it was ok). My girlfriend had the spinach and roasted poblano pepper dip with toasted focaccia bread and tortilla chips. The dip was very good but there was a smoked seasoning added that was not very good. It gave us both heartburn all night. The server was really attentive bringing drink refills, to go boxes, etc in a timely manner. It's always a red flag when a corporate restaurant tells you they don't have any open tables with a half-empty dining room as a backdrop. We had a great experience. Food was awesome. We tried the chorizo queso dip and a green chili burger. The burger was very juicy and done perfectly. The chili was spicy and overall had a great flavor. The queso dip was also great. Margaritas were made nice and strong/tasty and the beer was ice cold. First things first, I read several reviews of this place in nearby locations (including this one), and one of the biggest complaints was that quite often, the burgers would be done rare, if not raw. Supposedly, it is Bubba's policy that they be done medium well, if not told otherwise. 1) This isn't Chef Ramsey's four star restaurants. The cooks in a fast food bar atmosphere are not going to be up to par in being able to consistently cook burgers to that precision. As such, like any other fast food/bar burgers should be expected to be well done, unless told otherwise. Then, this wouldn't happen so often. 2) I don't know if the wait people ask when a person is ordering, "how would you like your burger, medium rare, medium well, or well done". Perhaps if they did, again, the rare burgers might not happen so often. We did not dine in, as we had heard that it was very loud inside. Sure enough, when picking up food, it was ear splattering. As far as the food goes - We got a well done burger, we had asked for it to be well done, and it was. The burger was ok, nothing special. The Philly Cheesesteak was excellent, tdf. For $2 extra, you can get switch the fries that come with your meal for a "side" salad. I thought that was a bit ridiculous, that they should cost the same. But what they gave us was a full sized salad. So for $2 over the cost of fries, it was well worth it. The salad they use for their "side" salad is the one they call "Big Salad". Pretty complete salad. All of the food was a bit pricey. Almost $11 for a simple cheeseburger. over $15 for the sandwich. Downgraded for the loudness. Downgraded for the prices. But the food was pretty darn good and decent sizes. Good enough that we'll order again, but very rarely. Update: Have ordered from there several times. The food is always great. The salad is only around $10 and well worth it. Really good salad. However, husband got a burger for $17!!!! Uhhhh... no. I was already not a fan but I tried them again and I was even more disappointed. I ordered a pizza to go and asked for easy sauce and a well done crust. They did not follow directions. There was literally puddles of sauce everywhere and it's like they doused the edges with so much sauce it wasn't even edible. And the crust was not even close to well done! Not to mention, they charge $2.50 for toppings on just one side of the pizza which might be okay but there were only 3 pieces of topping on each large piece. So basically, I paid $5 extra for a cheese pizza that they put a few measly pieces of meat on. This was the absolute worst pizza I have had in ages. I will not repeat. read more

We just had a terrible experince here. We came at 11:45am for a special lunch after our Sunday services. We were seated and greated by a very nice waitress. We immediately ask her to see if they could turn down the volumn of the game. She told us she would ask since she also found it loud but that management usually won't listen. The manager came by and again she said she would not do anything since this was corporate standards. The table next to us also complained as was given same excuse. We had to speak so loud to try and visit with our friends that this really ruined the whole lunch. The restaurant was filled with other families trying to just enjoy a lunch. There was no excuse for it to be so loud. We have never had this problem here. We will definately tell our friends to skip coming here now since the manager could not use reasonableness.
