We brought our sister here for her 18th birthday and it was amazing! The service, food and atmosphere were just perfect.

We came on Sunday night and it wasn't very busy. We got the pecan breaded stuffed green chiles, the fish and chips, and happy hour quesadilla (happy hour all day on Sunday's) and everything was delicious. 2024 #39

Celebrating our 9 year anniversary today! We stopped here for the first time so I can try the jalapeño poppers. They were delish! I got the blackberry mojito and he got the Long Island. I actually liked his Long Island better than my drink. We didn't get any entrées as we were going somewhere else. I will return in the future for the poppers.

Pecan Amber Ale. Amazing beer

Can't say enough good things about this place. We're visiting from out of town and our local friends recommended it. Stopped in for appetizers and drinks our first night in town and had to come back the next morning for brunch as well. Stuffed chiles and beer cheese fondue were bith great. The Monte Cristo was the absolute best I've EVER had, and the beer battered fries that come with it were among the best I've ever had too. All the cocktails my wife tried were fantastic, and the Pecan Amber Ale is probably my new favorite beer ever. Justin was our bartender/server both times we went in and he was excellent. Friendly, engaging, and made some great recommendations. I wish we had a Pecan Grill back in LA. Definitely check it out if you're in Las Cruces.

It was a casual dinner with my mom and 1 y/o. First impression of the place was positive by their very friendly and courteous staff. They saw us coming in - toddler and diaper bag in hand - and they rushed to open the door for us and greeted us with a smile and want welcome. That goes such a long way. The decor is very rustic, large dining area and very clean. We were seated right away as went in before their dinner rush. Our server Gabby was so sweet and sincere. She was also a very good server, even engaging in "conversation" with my toddler. It was adorable. We had the stuffed Hatch Chiles for appetizer. I ordered the Hatch Chicken Pasta, my mom ordered the Squash Pasta with (added) Pecan Crusted Salmon. I ordered the chicken and broccolini for the baby. I asked for them to almost overcook the veggies so he would be able to chew it without issue. The appetizers were decent. I think my expectation was above the delivery, but it was alright. My Hatch Chicken Pasta was OK. It did not wow me at all. It almost tasted like homemade Alfredo with a Chile and bacon garnish. My mom's Squash Pasta was actually really good and probably what I'd get on a subsequent visit. The Salmon was well seasoned, but however was overcooked and didn't look too be "crusted" in anything, let alone pecans. As for the kid's food... The chicken was so dry and the broccolini was almost as crunchy as if it were raw, so we ended up giving him veggies from my mom's plate instead. Overall, a pleasant experience. Something else we did really appreciate is that the food was not too salty as is the tendency sometimes when your eat out. They have the balance on that for sure. So we'd probably visit again in the future.

I was dining alone. After reaching Las Cruces after a 4-Hour drive I was pretty hungry. So I stopped here because I actually like the name of the place. I asked her table outside on the patio. My server probably arrived give me a menu got me water. We discussed some brews, and I decided on the pecan beer. It was super yummy. Waited a bit for my food. It seems that locally the crusted pecan Chicken is a local fave. I ordered it and it was very yummy. I had ordered a second beer and never really did arrive and then I asked for my check the server just said that they got really slammed in the last couple of hours that they were open. So while service was a bit slow I overall still had a nice meal.

Service was slow, food was average at best. They are attempting to be upscale but missing the mark.

They make the burgers, fries, & onion rings to order. So it all takes time!! Be patient. The burgers have that great smash crust on them but still flavorful & juicy. It's a very basic burger. Lettuce, onion, mayo, mustard, ketchup (I think?), & cheese but no bacon! Wasn't upset about that, totally understandable, the bacon would slow things down even more. Fries, curly fries, & onion rings. Pop, water, tea, & sports drinks. All in a fridge & nothing in a fountain machine. Chips if you want them. The difference between the regular burger k the great burger is the regular burger is basically a slider. Again, still reasonable. Would definitely come back. Make sure you double check the order though. My colleague asked for no mustard & her had mustard on it but an easy fix. No issues. Also, looks like you should be able to place an order online soon. This is an old school kind of place where they take orders by hand in a notebook. Honestly, loved to see it. Something so lovely & quaint about it. Come by and check it out if you haven't.

The entire time I was there - well before lunch hours - there was a line. The burger was well worth the wait and is much larger than it looks in the picture; I'm sure this place has a loyal following in the neighborhood.

Service is fast and friendly. My girlfriend and I ordered beers, the chile con queso, and two combination plates (one green one red). My favorite item was the chile con queso, served with warm tortillas. Grabbed some pico de gallo from the salsa bar to top the queso with and it was fabulous. Combo plates were good and hearty. I'd recommend the red one over the green - the pork tamale was the best item, followed by the enchilada. I didn't care for the flauta, which felt overcooked and dry. Overall enjoyed my experience.

On the bottom of the pizza (crust) , was MOLD! I immediately got grossed out and put the slice down. I got the manager and she came up to our table and asked , "what kind of pizza was this?" Like if it matters ... and I said "pepperoni " , she then takes the plate with my pizza slice on it to the back. She comes back out after a couple of minutes and says , the cooks or I don't know who, but she goes, "they said it's just from a label" ... WHAT , first off why would a 'label' be on the dough if they bake pizzas fresh? Shouldn't it be on the outside if the dough is prepped and set aside with ceran wrapping and then a label ? So I just looked at her and said okay, which you'll see in the picture, the 'label' could NOT create : FURRY, GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE/BLACK discoloring BAKED in the crust . I was very disappointed to be told / gaslighted and lied to , that it was from a 'label' that did that.. Clearly not! it was clear as day that it is mold, very DISGUSTED , and who knows how much I ate , because I noticed it in my 4th slice ... Will never eat here again .. Everyone check your food here at bubbas in Las Cruces, NM!
