Tacos Al Carbon! The Best!!!
Nathan M.

Probably the best street tacos I have ever had in my life! The beef was spiced perfectly and had the perfect chew. Get the tacos al carbon, you will not be disappointed! Just a good rule of thumb, if it's highlighted as a house specialty and take up a third of one the folds in a menu...it's probably pretty special...and IT IS HERE! I love their salsa bar, so I can go as spicy as I want and my wife can go as calm as she needs. Such a wide variety of salsa's make it hard to choose, so the staff said, "Get one of each and come back for your favorite!"

The service from Eboni was extremely slow. She acted like we were a bother to her. Never came to check on us after our order. We had to ask another waitress for additional drinks. The upside was that a second beer wasn't charged to us. Still left a 20% tip between charge and cash, which wasn't earned but for the free beer. We ordered the queso steak. Very good and tender. Also ordered the tacos. Meet had ok flavor but along with the onions, both were cold and not enjoyable. Ended up taking it all home, except the first taco i put together. Salsas had good flavor and spice, but the salsa bar was filthy. Wanted to go to the main restaurant, but they are closed on Mondays for maintenance. Tried the dawg house and will not be going back. And FLIES were absolutely horrible. Along with the cold meal, the flies added to the rating of a two.

Red cheese enchiladas with onion, I think I made them made when I asked for some onion. I will not go back there.

I ordered red cheese enchiladas with onion. All I can say is I can't believe how much onion they put on these enchiladas. Doesn't deserve a star but they won't let you move on until you hit a star!

Service was awesome and the food amazing. Very dog friendly. The outdoor eating area is nice, but loud...

Very good food and service provided by Jasmine. She was friendly and provided suggestions and checked on us throughout our meal. We had the 3 combo plate, tacos al carbon with pork, and horchata. The tacos al carbon was our favorite with the flavorful slightly charred pork. It was flavorful and delicious. The salsa bar was also great especially when you combine the pico with the classic salsa. They actually provide complimentary chips! The horchata was delicious with a nice touch of cinnamon. Although the 3 combo plate was good it didn't blow me out of the water. Very standard fare and the flauta was a bit dry. I would definitely come back and try some other dishes as everything was reasonably priced.

We've missed spicy New Mexican style food since we've moved to Tucson. Andele's was an excellent choice for reviving that taste memory. Their salsa bar is a treat, but be warned the mildest of the 5 choices is the pico de gallo. Arbol is very spicy and tasted like 100% chile! The service was friendly and quick. We chose the Dog House due to their patio, which is lovely! It's shaded and comfortably cool, but there were flies bothering us at the end.

This week I went with a friend of mine to dinner at Andale's Dog House. Our choice to go there was because the food has been good and their prices are reasonable. We were seated on the room next to the patio. My friend told the server that we were not in a hurry, we ordered a couple of beers and from their tortilla chips and salsa bar we got some to munch as an appetizer. Nevertheless she ended pushing us to order our food right away. My friend ordered a Plate of Pork Tacos al Carbon. I didn't want Mexican food so I ordered the Fish Fillet Platter. The presentation was great. Breaded fish served with tasty coleslaw, French fries and roasted corn and red peppers medley. The fillet of fish was over fried and dry, the French fries soggy. I do not recommend the fish platter. The area where we were seated was stuffy and hot. The server Ayleen came over an excessive amount of times to ask us if everything was okay interrupting our conversation and / or asking when we had food in our mouth. When she finally brought us the checks she never cleared the table, which for me who worked as a server many years ago, it is a 101 server basic task. We had to push our plates so we could sign the credit card vouchers. Do not order more than one beer. If you need to go to the bathroom, you better plan your trip as they are only for one person at a time. If the place is busy, you will be waiting on line to relieve yourself.

Stopped in for lunch on our drive back to Arizona. Glad we stumbled upon this cool place. No wait even though it was packed as they had ample seating. Local favorite spot. We each ordered different items and none of our dishes disappointed! Food was tasty and plentiful. Next time we are here we will definitely be back to try other dishes.

In town for a few nights and was recommended this place by some former NMSU students. Really nice patio are and the service was great. Enjoyed the free salsa bar which offered several great styles of salsa. I got the green chili chicken enchiladas with a fried egg which were really good. Only down fall was the rice seemed to be old and crunchy. But overall I enjoyed my dinner and will absolutely come back.

We waited 10 minutes at the bar before we were finally asked what drinks we wanted. All for this lady to be nasty toward us the entire night. We wanted a refill on water, we had to ask. We wanted another cocktail, we had to ask. This is not how you work with customers. She should be removed. Finally, we are FETCH shoppers and asked for an itemized receipt and the bartender had a few feelings about it. The entire reason we went there was to get the FETCH points and she was not happy about that request. The manager also failed to get an actual itemized receipt it was missing key information for the FETCH app redeem. Not worth a visit.

Party of 4--we stopped in for drinks and dessert and ended up really enjoying it…read more Everyone ordered something different--margarita, wine, beer, and an old fashioned with a smoked twist--and all of them were really good. Prices were about what you'd expect, nothing crazy. The desserts were just as solid--very tasty and a great way to wrap things up. Our waitress was super nice and always nearby if we needed anything, without hovering. Overall, a great spot to swing by even if you're just going for drinks and dessert. Definitely worth it.

He has beaten stage four cancer three separate times. Needless to say, his career military background and having just retired in October 2025 served him well. He has faced every diagnosis head-on like the true American soldier he is. During one of our quiet conversations, he shared something that clearly weighed on him. He was heartbroken that he never got the chance to take his wife out for their 55th wedding anniversary in December because he was in the hospital. The next day, I asked him a simple question. If you could pick one restaurant within a 100-mile radius, just one, where would you want to go once you had your strength back? Without hesitation, he said La Posta. Over the next few weeks, a lot changed. He was released from the hospital. He slowly began to regain his strength. First the cane went away, then short walks turned into longer ones, and eventually he was even driving himself from LC to EPT for doctor's appointments. When I finally asked if he felt strong enough to go to that meal we had talked about, he lit up. He started telling me stories. How his father used to bring him to La Posta. How it had remained top notch throughout the years. He went into detail about every menu item he loved. But the one thing he really wanted me to understand was the ambiance. You will get it when you are there, he told me. I called to see if they took reservations. We were not even sure they did. A young woman named Priscilla answered the phone. I explained the situation. My uncle was finally strong enough to return to his favorite restaurant, one that held a lifetime of memories, and he had missed celebrating his 55th wedding anniversary. I told her I wanted to surprise them and make the night unforgettable. I even mentioned I was planning to have flowers delivered. Priscilla did not hesitate. She immediately connected me with her manager, Teresa. I asked if we could have a larger table than one meant for three people because my uncle wanted to order everything. Honestly, I just wanted him to eat, to enjoy himself, to feel normal again. Teresa agreed without question. Then something unexpected happened. Teresa explained that Priscilla was a single mom of two who had recently started a floral business on the side and truly wanted to help make this night special. She asked if it would be okay to involve her. Of course, I said yes. I was transferred back to Priscilla and told her to go big. No expense spared. I gave her full creative freedom and an unlimited budget. Unbeknownst to me, Priscilla partnered with a friend who specialized in balloon arrangements. What she created was nothing short of breathtaking. Place cards. Multiple floral centerpieces. An ornate floral display. A large professional sign welcoming my aunt and uncle to the restaurant. She handled everything with grace, professionalism, and kindness, even as our party grew from three people to thirteen. And then the story took a turn. The day before the dinner, my uncle was rushed into emergency surgery. Suddenly, everything was uncertain. Half the family canceled to stay at the hospital. We kept Priscilla updated as events unfolded. Not once did she complain. Not once did she lose her composure. She adapted to every change with pure professionalism and empathy. She even adjusted the floral arrangements when we decided to bring flowers and food to the hospital instead. That is when I learned that the owners of La Posta had been informed of the situation. The male manager on duty, and I regret not remembering his name, passed along a message from them expressing their deepest condolences and gratitude. He also shared that they wished they could have been there to meet my uncle. There really are still good people in this world. After her shift ended at 4 p.m., Priscilla went to pick up her kids and then came back to the restaurant just to meet me. She walked me through everything she had created and explained the work behind it. When I asked how much I owed her, she paused and said she wanted to bless my family and could not accept payment. I was overwhelmed. Her work would have easily cost four to five hundred dollars. I insisted on tipping her at the very least, and she reluctantly agreed. The food that night was incredible. We had a wonderful server, and the food was amazing. We ordered extra meals to go so my cousins could bring my uncle his favorite dishes back to the hospital. It was a small way to lift his spirits during one of the darkest moments our family has faced. My uncle asked me to thank you for the food. And I want to thank everyone at La Posta for the hospitality, the compassion, and the humanity. When my uncle regains his strength and comes home again, we will return with his wife so he can finally give her the 55th wedding anniversary dinner they both deserve.
