You can also order loaves of bread to go, and I absolutely recommend getting the Green Chile Cheddar loaf - amazing! Based on reviews, I ordered the breakfast enchiladas with brisket. That brisket was tender and flavored perfectly. I also stole a bite off my bestie's plate of steak fingers - mind blowingly delicious. In fact The Shed was so good, we went back for a repeat meal the next day. I ordered a slice of quiche and could barely make a dent in the quiche - look at the size of that! The quiche was also pure perfection. The Shed does excellent food, and so they are usually very busy. The Shed was so good we went back the next day on our trip! There is usually a wait, but it is worth it. I ordered the Steak Fingers because I wanted to try the queso. I got the option of getting half breakfast potatoes and half beans. I used some of the red chile over the beans and potatoes, and oh my! It was the best red chile I had the whole trip. The queso was a true queso with real cheese and green chile, not the stuff that comes out of a can with canned jalapeños. To top it all off, you get a choice of their home-baked bread. Green Chile Cheddar, please. We each took a loaf home with us and put it in the freezer to travel back with us on the road. My repeat visit was the same meal because it was that good. This much vaunted local joint is buzzing on a Saturday morning, but the food is not good. Maybe they are having a off day or maybe they are just too busy to take care of an individual diner. The menu is big and diverse. They had a special the day we went in - Poutine fries! I hadn't had a good serving of Poutine fries since 2017... this dish did not disappoint! Today I went with a friend to have breakfast for our first time. I have heard excellent stories from friends about the delicious food. They are open for breakfast and lunch closing at 2. Their menu has a great selection of breakfast and lunch options. I ended ordering Huevos Rancheros. As a side you can have Mexican style beans or home potatoes. The server suggests that I could have half and half so I did. My friend ordered a ham omelette and a pancake on the side. To drink we both had coffee. When the server took our order, I asked her for water. She brought us the coffee and I asked for the water tagain. Finally the food was brought to out table but no water. As I was eating the Huevos Rancheros they were bit spicy and I began to caught. I got up and went to the server station and I asked for a glass of water. The food was excellent but the server was not at par with the establishment. The server Amber wasn't pleasant friendly and me having to get up to get my water was bad service. read more

Excellent! Delicious food, great service and a classic NM ambiance. Highly recommend for breakfast. Potatoes are magical and the kids devoured the pancakes. The Burrito will go head to head with obsolete breakfast tacos from TX. Christmas all the way as the salsas were incredible. Solid food at a solid price. Grabbed breakfast here on our way out of NM before heading home to AZ.. Coffee was delicious, as well as our breakfast! I opted for their chorizo breakfast with beans and potatoes and my hubby got a breakfast burrito. Everything was delivered fresh and hot. Waitress was friendly and attentive. It gets busy here, so bring your patience. There is room for waiting, so just hang out. Service was little slow as expected due to their popularity. We had their Migas breakfast, which was huge and tasty. Their old classic breakfast is perfect if you are not in the mood for anything fancy. Their pancakes were humongous! It was on the thicker side so little on the doughy side, but still yummy. Someone recommended their quiche, so will return to try it next time. The Shed was our favorite breakfast place in the area. Had brunch today with my sister and husband. This is the first time I am disappointed! I ordered the tomato basil soup plate with salad. The soup was Spicy! They should have told us it was spicy before I ordered it and it had too much dried basil in it. You get to choose red or green chili (team green chili all day!!!) I also opted for diced potatoes (basically like a square steak fry) and beans on the side. Very enjoyable. I believe they used a black bean tortilla too since it was the color purple. Gingerbread pancake was enormous so you only need 1. It was very enjoyable too; basically a gingerbread cookie in a soft cake form. I will definitely order those 2 items again. Fair price too! Ambiance was good. Outdoor seating was comfortable. I've been a big fan of The Shed for years even though I'm a traveler able to visit only several times a year. On April 19 I got 2 take out breakfasts. When ordering I noticed the daily specials board didn't have the quiches listed. I inquired and learned that there are new owners, there are changes to the menu. (I noticed deletions). Items that appear on the daily specials board are actually found in the menu. And I was told that the menu changes are not yet posted online. So this fan is not a fan of the new ownership. We only had about 5 minutes to wait before being seated, and arriving around noon we figured we'd have a longer wait. So many yummy choices. My dad went with the eggsadilla and fruit.
