I thought I was going to be twisted after drinking it, but it obviously had little alcohol. Neither of us felt the effects. Oh well. I had the cucumber monster margarita and it was tasty, but... don't think there was any alcohol in there! There was 6 of us. Virtually all the seating is of the hard-wood booth variety. On this visit I sampled their "California Burrito" and their "Ricardo's Burrito." These burritos were prepared and on my table in eight to ten minutes. You could hear the cook cooking them back in the kitchen. The two burritos arrived in individual baskets with two salsas and a can of Coke. And, I've got to tell you folks, these were two really great burritos! Both were wrapped in large high quality tortillas warmed on the grill. The California burrito had carne asada, pico, rice, cilantro, and little tiny French fries in it. The fries were actually closer in size to the shredded potatoes of hash browns...about 2/3 of an inch in length. For $10.99 this California burrito was a meal in itself. Rate this high quality production an "A" for excellent. The Ricardo's burrito (cost $11.75) also had carne asada, but featured rice, creamy refried beans, guacamole, and sour cream. It was delicious too. Rate it an "A." The addition of the two salsas made for a particularly flavorful meal. I left feeling quite pleased. Dining at this Ricardo's is a four and a half star experience...really high for a casual not full-serve restaurant. You don't know what you're missing if you haven't tried it.

Then it may not be the trickling sound from the fountain that you're hearing.
