It's a very eclectic bar for sure with a multitude of random signs from a variety of businesses both new and old. Drinks are wonderful and well crafted. I selected the frozen pina colada and it went well with the 100° day. No A/C but the bar is equipped with several ceiling fans which helps. Our server was attentive and very helpful. Such a fun place to stop in for drinks! Came here with my parents while I was in town and we had a couple drinks on the patio and enjoyed tacos for lunch from the on-site food truck. My margarita was delicious and I also enjoyed an Elevated IPA on draft. The service was quick and bartender was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. Love how there are so many different spots to sit and the ambience is super fun with tons of antique signs and things to check out. Also swung through the store on our way out to grab a tshirt. Good spot for girlfriends to hang out, neighbors to grab a beer, dates, extended families to comfortably get together. Great cocktail menu. We didn't get food so I can't comment on the food truck. It's kind of out of the way, but worth a short trip. The Paloma was perfect for a hot day, bright and refreshing and not too sweet. Served up in a 12 oz cup. Good beer selection, too. Food truck was amazing great food! Service inside at the bar was slow . Good bartenders and good vibes but slow. I spent 100$ on bourbon and whiskey . In the beginning I was being served 1.5 ounces of whiskey for 15$ then as the night went on I was being charged the same amount for 1 ounce. Was not drunk or belligerent. But they decided they could take advantage of me and charge me 15-18 for a single ounce of whiskey. Again amazing vibes great atmosphere but over priced when it comes to whiskey and bourbon!!! If I'm spending 20$ at the food truck and 100+$ inside for drinks I think I'd expect more courtesy not passive aggressive energy read more

What a great, relaxing bar! Too bad it is only open Friday - Sunday. Only the best, top shelf spirits are served here in quality crafted cocktails with various beer and wine options also available. Service is smiling and accommodating. Even on an early Friday afternoon, this place was busy. Still, it must have been the calming babbling from the rustic fountains in the middle of the bar or the amazing La Brujita mezcal in my Oaxacan Old Fashioned that left me with a very relaxed feeling as if I had a large dose of melatonin. Servers in your establishment are wonderful. The food truck you all have parked here, Tacos Romero, is the rudest and most miserable people and it completely kills the vibe. Eat before you come here because this is the second time we have gone here and the service from the same shi**y food truck has been horrendous both times. Why drink here with terrible food service and good beer when you can drive another mile to ice box and have great food and great service. Won't go back until they get a new food service. read more

Love the ambience but two drinks for $32 plus tip makes it $38 for 2 drinks. Sadly the overpriced drinks are served in a plastic cup without any garnishes either. The service was courteous and friendly which was a big plus. Bring a jacket with you because the inside can feel close tot the temperature outside. I really wanted to love this place. The pros: everyone who grew up in Las Cruces knows the old Guacamole's location. The back patio/yard is really cute. The drinks were well-made. The cons: The actual interior of the place is... rustic? It's a vibe, just not sure it's one I'd seek out. The restrooms are in a separate building behind the patio. The big "oh no" is that when I visited (early October 2021) there was (and is still) an indoor mask mandate. NO ONE working there had a mask on, even in the package store next door. It gives me great concern when a place that deals in food and/or beverage doesn't follow public health orders, because it makes me wonder what other health-related rules are being ignored. This is enough, for me, to not want to return. read more

Nothing to complain about here. Very chill, friendly environment. Lots of great places to hang out in the back under an umbrella or inside. Tacos Romero is on site in case you are needing something to eat. (Please see Bon Appetit Magazine's review of April, 2022. Weird place. Outdoor bar with a crowd lulu-lemons and LV purses to old men hunched over the bar. Alcohol and heat is not a good combo.

I sweat really easily so an outdoor bar mid summer is not for me. THAT being said, I do love this place. Palacio's is the only other bar in town that has that home town feeling but it's a little ghetto at times. Elephant Ranch has always been friendly and a great place to hang out. THE BEST margaritas in town, if you like a real margarita and not that frozen junk. Romero's taco truck is parked on the side and I have loved their barbacoa tacos for many many years. Congratulations, you lost my business over 25 cents. My issue lies with their food truck, tacos romeros. I used to come here all the time, and after a hiatus from the business I decided to go again. I ordered two burritos and a gordita. The lady in the food truck had so much unnecessary attitude to begin with. Despite there being only one other patron ordering food, my order took nearly 25 minutes. This isn't the issue, the issue lies when I went to get my order and ask for salsa. They give you the littlest container of salsa, and despite ordering 3 items they were only willing to give me two little containers of salsa. When I asked for more, she rudely stated that it would be 25 cents per container if I wanted anymore. When I asked if the gordita came with salsa, she rudely stated that it didn't and that I either pay 25 cents or no more salsa. With the abundance of Mexican food here in Las cruces, it is unacceptable to not give an extra salsa to a paying customer with multiple items. I will never be back, and I suggest everyone stay away from this place. read more

Great tacos from the food truck, drinks were great too. I had the margarita and it was good, not like some of the super sweet margarita some places make. My husband tried the scotch from their selection. Everyone was friendly and there were several groups there that obviously were regulars.
