Definitely a different flavor than the other dishes. It was spicy, but not hot spicy. I would order it again. My wife is stuck on the green curry. She orders that most of the time, she loves it so much. By the way, these were takeout orders. If you want to try something different, give them a try.

Traditionally I get chicken, but to today I decided that the Beef; it was buss'n (per kidz). It was so savory with a hint of cinnamon (least I thought). The richness wasn't expected nor was the freshness of the bean sprouts. I typically hate them but these were fresh and had a great bite. I used them to indulge in the crunch. The noods were square and not round. I thought that was unique as I have traditionally only had round. The Beef wasn't as tender as I'm used to but decent. The broth was the star for me. I really enjoyed the Pho. In addition, I got Goyza which was savory and indulgent. They were a tad overcooked but I like the texture of the bite it creates. The Eggrolls were a disappointment. They had absolutely no flavor but we're cooked beautifully. Nice light fry and not over cooked. The dipping sauce was too gelatinous for me. I would definitely give them a try. Its a small Cafe so don't expect mom and pop as I did. Its more fast-food style. My waitress (Kim) was efficient and sweet. She managed the front house, waited tables and busted tables so if it's busy give her grace.

My favorite way to dine. I loved how everything came out fresh and the ingredients were fresh. Every bite I had was absolutely delicious! The Haemul Pajeon (seafood pancake) was my favorite, super fresh, tasty and the perfect texture. I'm a sucker for dumplings so we also ordered the Mandoo with chicken. This was my first time having bulgogi since I just started eating beef again a could months ago. It was delicious and well seasoned and paired perfectly with the glass noodles. The soy vinegar pickles were also yummy. I would definitely come back again! The staff are also nice and they have great reviews for a reason. The only slight issue I'll note is that it is smaller than I thought on the inside. They have about 6 four person tables in the entire place so the 6 of us took up almost half the restaurant. Also to note I love the art on the wall that displays the menu items and describes the dish.

We started with the fried tteok fries, which were surprisingly light and delicious. I've only ever had tteok in stews before, so I was worried they might be hard or chewy, but they were the complete opposite--crispy, light, and really enjoyable. We also ordered the dolsot bibimbap with beef, the Japchea with beef , and a side of the daily soup, which was beef with radish. Everything was very savory without being heavy, and overall just really comforting food. On top of that, the servers were very kind and polite. I called this restaurant to confirm they don't use fruit juice in their bulgogi marinade, as I'm allergic. They assured me twice that they don't. I placed a $40 order with doordash for two dishes (already ridiculous), and they called me back 10 minutes later saying they DO USE PEAR JUICE. I ask them if they use pear juice in their chicken or pork and they said yes. At no point do they offer me a refund despite it clearly being a massive shortcoming on their end, one that could've made me gravely ill. Instead I have to sub for tofu, resulting with me ending up with a $40 meal I would've never ordered in the first place! To replace the gimbap, they GRIPE ME ABOUT A $10 PRICE DIFFERENCE between the gimbap and the kimchi pancakes as if it's not their fault! If they are this flippant and careless with making people sick, I genuinely cannot imagine how they run the rest of their restaurant. I cannot advise people to stay away from here enough. This interaction went beyond breaching normal restaurant hospitality and veered into lacking human decency territory. I can't imagine lying to someone about food allergies and not immediately offering a refund. Absolutely obscene. Could've gotten gravely ill and instead of saying sorry the lady on the phone is griping me about a $10 difference as if kimchi pancakes even costs $6 to make in the first place.

Neither of my friends had ever had it, so I knew we needed an AYCE so they could try a little bit of everything. We found 704 on Yelp and headed there! I told our waitress, Kim, that we had two newbies, and the rest of the meal, she was as excited as I was for them to try things! We ordered a huge variety of items, including the soups, the cheesy corn, bulgolgi, pork belly, chicken, squid... everything that looked interesting :) It was so very very tasty! The food quality here was not like how it was years ago. The biggest issue was the food quality and value. The galbi was $30 per plate and had barely any meat, mostly bones and mixed in with a lot of cabbage. The pieces of meat were extremely small, about the size of a penny, which made it feel completely overpriced. The photo on the menu showed much meatier portions, so what we received felt misleading. We have had galbi at other places with much better portions for less. The japchae was also difficult to eat. The noodles were excessively long, around 2 feet, making it hard to grab and portion onto plates. Typically, japchae noodles are cut to a manageable length. The banchan portions were very small, only enough for about two people. When we asked for more, we were told it would be an additional charge, which was disappointing. Service also impacted our experience. The waitress hovered over our table and repeatedly asked to take plates away while we were STILL eating, which made the meal feel rushed and uncomfortable. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 young kids, ages 4 and 2, and the kids barely ate anything, yet we were still automatically charged a 20% gratuity. That did not feel appropriate given the situation. I am all for supporting small businesses, but when you are charging premium prices for very small portions and the quality does not match, that is where you lose my business. Overall, the portions, pricing, and service did not match expectations. Our $183 bill would've been better off at an AYCE Korean bbq.

This consistency is not merely convenient: it's a commitment. We had ordered a side of crunchy noodles, unaware that every bowl of Wonton Soup arrived already accompanied by them. The result was a surplus that we gladly consumed and saved more for leftovers. The soup itself was a masterclass in nostalgia: steaming, plump dumplings submerged in a broth with a strong pleasant flavor punctuated by the sharp fresh bite of scallions. For the main course, I explored the Bulgogi Steak, served with tortillas. The meat possessed a surprising, sophisticated sweetness, nestled amongst a garden of onions so plentiful they promised to enrich several meals yet to come. My companion's Dinner Sushi Combo was equally impressive; the sashimi featured generous, thick cuts of fish that spoke of undeniable quality and freshness. Even the beverages offered their own narrative. The Hot Tea was bitter yet pleasant, a sharp contrast to the Southern Sweet Tea, which remains a high standard of local craft. While the Crispy Calamari leaned heavily into salt and onion, and the Crab Rangoons were reliably filling, the overall experience far exceeded the baseline of fusion dining. The Verdict: Jia Asian Fusion & Sushi Bar does more than merely occupy a slot on a Monday calendar; it excels. It provides high-quality, fresh ingredients and nostalgic comforts at a time when the rest of the city's culinary scene has largely gone quiet. Between the "unholy" generosity of the portions and the technical precision of the sashimi, it remains a staple of my consistent rotation for a reason. Rating: 5/5 Stars

Honestly, smart marketing move. If you're in a high foot-traffic area like Uptown Charlotte, putting your menu outside absolutely works because it pulled me right in. Just keep it updated and current, and people like me will absolutely stop and read it. Now onto the japchae, which is one of my all-time comfort foods. If you've never had it before, these are glossy Korean sweet potato glass noodles stir-fried with vegetables and sometimes protein. I ordered mine without protein because I just wanted the noodles to shine on their own. And shine they did. Perfectly cooked, lightly chewy, savory, comforting, and exactly what I was craving. I can never get enough japchae. Ever. I'm so glad MOA keeps it as a staple menu item because I would genuinely be upset if it disappeared. If you're newer to Korean food, japchae is honestly one of the best gateway dishes to start with. It's approachable, flavorful, comforting, and kind of the Korean cousin to pad thai in terms of universal appeal. The restaurant itself has a sleek Uptown vibe, and the location is super walkable if you live or work nearby. Parking Uptown can absolutely be annoying, so if you already happen to be in the area for work, a show, or meetings, it's definitely worth the stop. Charlotte, there's a big delicious world out there, and honestly, one of the nicest surprises about relocating here from Northern California has been discovering how good and diverse the food scene really is. So get out there and eat your way through it.

There are ample dining tables inside, but the parking lot is rather tight as it is shared with Seoul Food Meat Company. However, the restaurant does validate parking if you pay for parking so just let them know. The ambiance was not too loud, but it definitely gets busier at lunch or dinner times. I would say that the service was alright. It was nothing special. I found the servers who attended my table to be upbeat and friendly, but I kind of wanted them to come around a bit more and check in on us when we were running low on water or sides. My family mostly ordered the Premium Original Pork Belly and Fatty Beef Brisket along with some vegetables. The pork belly comes out in two strips, which makes it quick to go through. I personally enjoyed the pork belly. It tasted great with the sauces! I did not like the Fatty Beef Brisket that much because it was too fatty (I know the name includes "fatty" but it seemed like the fat to meat ratio on each brisket piece was 2:1 at times). My parents thought that the Premium Steak was tender, but it was a bit too salty for them. Since they are older, they are more careful about sodium intake but I understand that a lot of people prefer more salty foods. But I will say that I found the kimchi and corn cheese a bit salty so maybe it is more than just a taste palate issue. My mom wanted to eat hot pot, but my dad and I were too full to eat more and we were worried about the additional charge if she did not finish some of the food. Also, you cook the food yourself here! This might not seem interesting but at a lot of KBBQ places in Atlanta, the servers always cook for you (which can either be a pro or con depending you). There are not a lot of AYCE KBBQ spots in North Carolina compared to Georgia... where I have been the past few years... so I think my actual rating of this place would be 3.5/5 stars. If you can make the drive to Atlanta, I would go there because there are better options.
