It's just okay.. it's not bad or inedible, but I wouldn't choose it. The honey chicken had a dry crumbly texture inside and the meat itself was very bland. The veggies had no seasoning. The spring roll didn't have a good flavor either and wasn't cooked enough. I think Panda Express blows this place out of the water.. and obviously that's fast food and not perfect either. We ordered take out on a Friday night (COVID) and were impressed at the portions we came home with! The bag was heavy! Everything was hot and delicious and the portions were beyond generous. I ordered the Singapore noodles and fried dumplings. The noodles had a gentle heat, tons of veggies and meat/shrimp and was so filing. The dumplings were also more than two biters and generous with the filling inside. My husband got the spicy Thai chicken fried rice, and that was another large portion that he raved about (see first sentence). What a great find! I was in town for lunch and went to yelp for a suggestion nearby. Bingo! This is in a little strip mall and the interior is somewhat small. Don't let that deter you. Plenty of seating. You order at the register, pay and wait for your food. It won't take long. Check out the special on the dry erase board by the register before ordering. It's a great deal, and usually delicious. On the day I visited, it was Korean BBQ chicken, and so many people were making over it I ordered one to go for my son. It was, indeed, amazing. For my lunch, I had a hot and sour soup. It really was one of the best ones I've had and it was dirt cheap, huge portion and came with those yummy crunchy strips. I believe I may be just a tad bit picky about fast food Chinese/Asian joints. For me, Asian Garden was just Meh. I enjoyed the ease of ordering from their app, and the 5$ discount that came with that process. It was super quick and easy. They offer a 4.99 daily special. This week it was chicken and broccoli (boring) but hey, that is a deal, and was free with the coupon, so insert an additional order for the Spicy Chicken Thai Noodles and I should have enough food for the next few days. That is an understatement. The portions are huge and with the quantity of food I received, I could have fed two people for two days. With that being said, my experience with the food was quantity over quality. The chicken and broccoli was ok, i mean that is hard to mess up. The spicy chicken Thai noodles lacked spice (I ordered extra spicy), and was void of any Thai flavor at all, and the noodles to veg/meat ratio was way off. I basically had a dish of noodles. Nothing special here! I added my own Huy Fong chili garlic sauce at home. It did cure the Chinese craving I have once every three months, and it was easy on the pocketbook, but the food did not make me want to order from here again. read more

I live in Charlotte but would still patronize this business as I felt the quality of the food was always there . The last straw was a few days ago , I ordered a dinner broccoli trio and was so disappointed that they are no longer making this dish with the large, deveined shrimp , but these lower quality , smaller shrimp. Now in their defense , the larger shrimp only included like 2 or 3 and essentially you get more with the smaller ones , but I am a woman who prefers quality over quantity any day .
