Dishonest people. My friend got a flat tire on his rental car thru Avis, and he called Avis roadside assistance, who set him up with this sham of a towing service. They gave him a half an hour window and didn't show. Multiple phone calls to this number were not answered. 45 minutes after the end of the window, he called Avis back and they supposedly connected with them and reported that they were " stuck in traffic" on a traffic-less holiday monday, and that they were 25 minutes away. Again, they did not show. Eventually, 45 minutes after that, he had to call Avis back and cancel them in favor of a different towing company that was actually interested in performing the work. Do not use. There are plenty of other honest towing companies in this area. If you are told that this is your vendor, insist that they use somebody else. read more

Is there a way to give less than 1 star? I can see many people had a similar experience. I locked my keys in my car and reached out to USAA. They told me that someone would be out in 45 minutes. After an hour went by I called back. USAA (their 3rd party contractor) told me that they spoke to the driver and they'd be there in 10 minutes. After 30 minutes I call back and know deep down that no one is coming. USAA reaches out again and now says no one is picking up the call. I ask for the name of the company and try myself. My warranty insurance dispatched this towing service around 2pm. I received a text starting towing driver will come at 2:45pm. State Farm dispatched this company for my roadside assistance issue and I was given 45 minute time window. This company did not show up for more than t and a half hours! I had made several calls to BS and my Roadside Assistance company as well and calls were not returned, BS kept changing the arrival times, BS did not communicate directly with me as to the arrival time as they are contracted to do so. My road side assistance provider contracted with this company. ETA was 50 mins. After waiting 1 hr 20 mins I called the towing company. When I called the number I got a recorded voice that said please enter the extension of person you're trying to reach. I didn't know, so I pressed 0. The recorded message then said there is no person at that extension and automatically hung up. I tried to look up a website to get a different number and found the Yelp reviews, which didn't instill confidence. I called my provider who was finally able to get in touch with someone there and was told the company arrived and no one was there so they cancelled the order. I was here the whole time! Further, I didn't receive one call from them (which you'd think I wouldn't if the driver couldn't find me). Please do not book this company. If your provider books them, I recommend you ask for a different one if you can. After discovering B's Towing never arrived, my provider booked Express Towing. They were here in 20 minutes, got my car started quickly and I was on my way in 30 minutes. read more

Like most other people who've left reviews, my insurance dispatched this company because my car wouldn't start. I read the reviews and was very stressed that they wouldn't arrive. But! They called me to tell me that they were five minutes away, showed up in under an hour from when they were dispatched, and jump started my car in under a minute. This took place on a Monday at 1pm - 2pm so maybe that's why they were so responsive? Either way, it was a great experience and I'd use them again! read more

My dang car battery died out due to me leaving the flashers on too long. Have Roadside Assistance with Progressive Insurance and went thru their App to request service. They assigned B's to come give me a jump. The app told me 45 min approximate wait time to their arrival. I got a call after about 15 min or so after I made the request and their guy was on his way and let me know he was abt 15 mi away. He checked in one more time when he was on the street where my workplace was and I guided him to my car. He jumped it and we were all set. Quick service, polite employee and I was on my way again. I, too, laughed at the stupidity of anyone naming a service company "BS". Not sure how USAA selected BS as their roadside service provider. However, BS called shortly after I contacted USAA roadside service, provided an ETA of 16 minutes, showed up on time, called when they arrived and did the necessary battery jump promptly. Antonio spoke little English, but was pleasant and did his job right. His car had a large, legible company logo on the driver's door. Heads up: AAA also sends guys in small vehicles for battery charging calls. It makes no sense to send a large, fuel-guzzling tow truck when all that is needed to jump a dead battery will fit in the trunk of any car. Not sure why some Yelpers complained about about the use of fuel-efficient cars by this roadside service. read more

Nationwide called this company to help me with a jumpstart. At first everything seemed to be according to plan got s text from nationwide roadside company subcontractor informing time BS towing would be there in 50 minutes. After an hour passes my roadside assistance company calls and asks if they fixed my issue. I told them it did not so then they call BS Towing to see what's going on. They informed them that they are in traffic coming from North Hills. Well I wait the quotes 18 minutes. After that time still nothing, call my insurance to which they call BS Towing to receive no response. No one ever came or picked up and they canceled their request. Two hours past and no one came even after the traffic excuse which was completely a lie as there is no traffic congestion como from there to VEntura County Do yourself a favor and if they dispatch this company ask your insurance to provide an alternative company. *DO NOT WORK WITH THESE GUYS* I ended up having to call USAA and tell them to not use this service. The USAA was very apologetic and said BS Towing Service is known for giving people problems in my area. In most cases, you can request to not use these guys. I hope these guys get AS LITTLE business as possible. Here's what happened to me: I have a dead battery so I just needed a jump start. So I called yesterday at about 6:30pm. They said estimated wait time would be 45min. We called an hour later, they said someone had a flat tire on the 118 and they would be 20min. We called an hour later, 20 more min. Another hour.... Ended up waiting a total of 3 and half hours. The next day, we needed another jump start to get to the car shop. So we got hooked up with these guys again... Sure enough, they said estimated arrival was within 60 minutes. We called after an hour, and they said 20 more minutes, and THEY USED THE SAME EXCUSE AS YESTERDAY, literally saying that someone had a flat tire on the 118 and that it would be 20 minutes. Called an hour later, another 20 minutes. 3 hours later, I called and the guy LITERALLY ANSWERED, and then hung up on me... Ended up waiting 3 and half hours again before calling USAA and just saying "hey, can we just not use these guys?". The customer service lady apologized and assigned me to someone else with MUCH better reviews. ASA Towing. Moral of the story is, if you're reading this review, CALL YOUR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, and ask them to use someone else. read more
