I've only been here for breakfast... I think 4 times. All on Sundays. I have only gotten a "build your own" breakfast burrito and a side of green chili to slather on top. These are massive concoctions and dirt cheap. There are bigger than most infants. Two eggs and hash browns are the base and they give you a list of meats and veggies. Add as many as you want... no extra charge. You must write in you want green chili. It is a must. They also provide a Bloody Mary bar. The coffee is ok. Their service can be very slow but I overlook it for the food! While this seems nothing more than a cowboy bar I have heard there lunch and dinner is awesome as well. For a bar... the beer selection is more than Bud/Miller/Coors but not much better. I heard it gets busy and rowdy at night. I will eat breakfast here again... and again... and again. read more

This is my husbands favorite place to eat 98% of the time. Today our waiter took our order and gave the rest of his job to the waitress. We've stopped here several times on our way to Denver. The burgers and fries are really quite good. However, I have to mention our most recent experience which changed my opinion about the place. I ordered the enchilada plate for $13; the options on the menu were chicken or ground beef. When our server took my order she said I could either have chicken, ground beef, shrimp, or steak. I said, 'Oh, the menu just said chicken or ground beef.' She said, 'No, you could order enchiladas with either of the four meat types.' I said, in that case, I'll have the shrimp and steak.' 'Okay, which one?' Can I mix and match?' Let me check with the cook.' After some deliberation she returned and said I could have two of one and one of another, but not 3 different. 'Okay, two with shrimp and one with steak, please.' Fine. I got them and they were very good. When I received the bill, however, there was the $13 charge, plus a $4 charge for shrimp and steak, and a $5 charge for ordering more than one type. The server never disclosed to me that there would be additional charges. When I asked her about it, she just blew it off by saying, 'Well, there must of been something lost in the translation." So I ended up paying an extra $9 dollars. Had I known, I would have been happy with 3 chicken enchiladas. No one likes surprise charges. I left feeling kind of swindled. I have spent many of nights at the Brush Creek. I love the environment, the decor, the live music, the food is hit or miss, but the service is atrocious. For some reason the round of bartenders hired are elitists who forget they work for tips. No eye contact, no sense of urgency and a lack of common respect. Like tonight our dear girl Darcy had nothing but attitude and was brushing her hair over the ice. Health code honey! We are locals. We understand that working late nights is hard. But put your big girl panties on and realize this is your life and we help pay your rent. read more

I frequent the Brusg Creek frequently, most to the time for Happy Hour. The drinks are reasonable priced. They do have some real good food such as their BLT. Its a real dive but kind of fun to hang out for a fun afternoon. Yes, there is lots of guys and gal, you know how the saying goes The Odds are good, but the goods are odd. That goes for saying mostly about the male attendance, most of them are retire and the highlight of their day is spending their Social Security checks trying to impress each other of how well their business is doing. Of course they are all blue collar workers, hippie type with long hair and ugly looking facial hair. The bar is clean and the service is excellent. All in all I like the place for hanging out but would take my adult children there. They do have great kareoke nights. Just a fun place to hang out when nothing there is not much going on. read more

What a pleasant and exciting surprise. This is a saloon, so we're talkin Ultra Ultra casual but a fun atmosphere. We had probably one of the best burgers we have ever eaten, and we are from Texas where meat of all kinds reigns supreme. The burgers are enormous so plan to do some serious splitting. We were brought to Eagle for work. Came across this place after our appointment. Stopped by for a quick adult beverage. It was 2:30pm Thursday afternoon and quite busy with your locals. Very clean and loved the decor. Cozy and the food looked good and decent portions but didn't eat. Believe Rachel was our bartender but didn't introduce herself. BCS was a blast. Decent food and a lively night life make this a goto for a local bar. They had live music with a fantastic band that played for about 4 hours of solid tunes. The bill was super cheap and I'd definitely return again. read more

3 stars for the best dive bar in Eagle. Okay, maybe the only dive bar in Eagle. Like the one other reviewer, I, too, am from San Francisco. My darlingest friend lives here, who shall remain anonymous for her own protection. Let me summarize the Brush Creek in a few words: Married men galore (not with their wives) and bright lights. So bright it kills your beer goggle buzz. Somehow I managed to be more sober when I left, than when I had first arrived. It's amazing how married men buying you drinks, can sober you up pretty fast. There were mullets, cheap drinks, and a dog eating out of a woman's hand on top of the bar. Should I appreciate that the married men were at least wearing their rings while they were out looking for other women, or should I be starting a women's lib organization to save the single women at the bar who were hanging out with the married men anyway? read more

Our second time here! First was a 5 star experience with great food and service. Today however, food was great but I have to say, the service was horrific! Our server needs training. We witnessed her blowing her nose several times without washing her hands afterwards. She brought our food over with her mouth stuffed with food. We had to flag her down twice because she was too busy either playing Fortnite or FBing on her phone. I know they can do better than this. I'm sure we will be back but they need to get their Sh$& together! read more

This is a good bar with above average burgers. It also has some of the slowest bartenders I've ever seen. If they're not busy its a decent spot, but if there's not room at the bar, don't bother. We once sat at a table for over 10 minutes with out getting service, not that the staff was that busy, they just didn't feel like coming over from the bar. read more

I have only gone on Saturday nights but its always a good time. Beautiful bartenders and the music is a mix of country and hip hop. Its a locals place, older crowd early with a younger crowd showing up to dance at around 11pm. Music is fun and current and the people are an interesting mix. I prefer the crowd, I get sick of bars where everyone is wearing black and drinking martinis. Go to drink, dance and have a good time. read more

What a surprise! Was in town visiting friends and they took me to Brush Creek Saloon on a Friday night. Live music was awesome. Great atmosphere. And the food was fantastic and plentiful. What a great place to have some great burgers and breakfast burritos. HUGE PORTIONS, GREAT PRICES. The service was very quick, not sure what those below are saying. All the bartenders do a fantastic job and seem to really enjoy the environment as much as the customers. Friendly and the place to be on sunday morning for breakfast! Over priced drinks with a unfriendly staff. Be careful if you go into this bar. This place is a joke. Pretends to be a restaurant, tries to be a bar. The barmaids are grumpy and uninviting at best. I complained about my service and was thrown out of the bar. So much for any pretending of the customer is always right. The only reason that this place makes it is the fact that it is the only late night bar in town. If someone with customer service skills opened a bar across the street, it would be over in a month. Its to bad because the owners are good people, but they let their bar be run by degenerates. I don't need this place and will NEVER go back. read more
