The bar itself is gorgeous, with thoughtful attention to small details. The bar seating against the window rail is incredible and if it's a nice day, you'll find it like we did, with the accordion window panes tucked away. You can't find a better way to spend an afternoon in the city - their craft cocktails are creative and unexpected. The views to pair with that, along with great company - chef's kiss. We ordered a few drinks and soaked in the views. The staff checked on us often and were up to making a few "off menu" drinks - that wowed us. If you aren't seeing what you are looking for, ask for it. I bet you won't be disappointed.

I'm so glad I found this spot while vacationing in Beaver Creek…read more We were looking for a place to grab some appetizers as we weren't that hungry and The Lookout Bar was the perfect spot as they only serve drinks and noshes. The Lookout bar is located in The Westin and on the top floor with stunning views. We were first greeted by the host Hal who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I noticed Hal walking through the bar checking on guests and also assisting the servers as needed with drink and food orders. We were seated at the window which had stunning views of the local village and mountain. Our servers John and Augustina were excellent. They never left us waiting for service and continuously checked in on us. We ordered dirty martinis which were served nice and cold. The only negative about the martinis would be the glasses are smaller than what martinis at most other places would be served in so it is simply a smaller serving. However, the wine was a generous pour. For bites, we ordered the Pimento Cheese which was served warm with baguette. So tasty. The beef + blue toasts. This was okay but not our favorite. The burrata salad. Very refreshing and delicious. Since we were not staying at the Weston and had to valet, they were kind enough to validate our ticket. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and experience the beautiful views and delicious drinks and small bites.

This place has a dining room in the back and a great menu that had more than just bar foods. I was in between the philly cheese steak, black bean burger, and the Rocky mountain oysters (JK) but it's cool they offer quite a variety! I got the black bean burger with a salad and really enjoyed it! The bun was soft and toasty and the burger tasted great! Salads here and fresh and I was very satisfied with my meal! We had a nice healthy pour of Chardonnay and they consistently refilled our soda. The service was fantastic! Thank you! Will be back!

We were stunned at how beautiful the decor was inside of this place, including all of the unique seating and light fixtures. After finding a comfy nook in the back, all three of us decided on the praying mantis cocktail. Our bartender delivered the drinks to our table, each garnished with a flower. We had a wonderful time here. I'd certainly recommend coming to visit and staying for a while. The music was A+ too!

For a hotel pub this place exceeded our expectations. Granted it is at a high-end Marriott in Vail…read morebut still the food was excellent. The smoked salmon deviled eggs were almost shocking. The first bite surprised me and interested me and my girlfriend looked at my face and said how are they? I told her I didn't want to prejudice her so just to take one and tried herself. She did and the look on her face was probably like mine, surprised. We both agreed that they were different than any other deviled eggs we had ever had and they were very delicious. The presentation was very nice as well. We shared a beet salad and they split it onto plates for us and it was more than enough for each one of us. We also split a pasta 25 which was good but I had to ask for salt-and-pepper as it was in need of some spices. This is simply the bar/pub in a busy hotel but the kitchen really has it working! The staff did a good job as well but they are mostly very young people working seasonally so you are not going to get professional waitstaff as you would in a high-end restaurant like Leonora. It was still a great experience in the food was surprisingly good and super convenient since we were staying in the hotel.

I really don't expect a five star meal at a hotel bar restaurant…read more However, I would not come back here. The food was not very good at all, with the exception of the huge quesadilla appetizer (which came with a ton of fun toppings). The service was terrible. The music was nice. I ordered the turkey panini. Huge serving. Turkey, pesto, spinach, cheese, tomato, bacon. All these ingredients, but somehow this was very bland and soggy. The bacon was barely chewable and had no flavor as well. It came with a side salad. The salad looked delicious but had no flavor or dressing, and the few small croutons on top got soggy from the wet salad toppings. Yuck. I also tried the elk burger. My fiancé ordered this cooked medium. The sides were cooked fine, but the inside looked like ground beef you'd see in the raw meat aisle at a grocery store. He was unable to eat any of the middle of the burger because of this. Now we would've complained about the burger because this was health hazard undercooked inside, but our waitress never returned to ask how our food was until our food was long gone. No water refills so we refilled our own glasses with my reusable water bottle. No bill until literally 30 minutes after we asked her (and this was long after we were trying to figure out why she was not coming back to our table). It was a bummer because she was very nice, but we got no actual service from her.
