GREAT VIBES AND DRINKS This was my first distillery experience and I don't have anything prior to compare it to but it was so much fun!! The space was so pretty too. Encore to Michael, the owner of the distillery, for showing us some an amazing time. Had a tasting of his vodka and gin, and I was so shocked when I didn't need a chaser! Because their vodka and gin are made of grapes , the aftertaste bitterness isn't there! I highly rec the cocktail class. Learned a lot and the drinks were so goood. Gosh, Michael was so funny and a great host. My group had a blast. I can't wait to visit this distillery in the mountains! Tysm Michael!!

While in Denver, I wanted to check out some distilleries and visited Archetype Distillery. I didn't really know what to expect but WOW this place is amazing! We just walked into their lounge/bar on a Friday night and sat at the bar. The bartenders (who were also the owners) make some seriously good drinks!! They have a ton of different spirits with different flavors - you can tell them what flavor profiles you like and they can whip up a custom cocktail for you. Really fun experience! The venue is also beautiful and modern. They also do private events, weddings, concerts, etc. The bartenders were super friendly, make really good recommendations and made our visit memorable. Be sure to check them out!

A group of friends and I went to Archetype Distillery for the distillery tour and tasting. This truly is a Denver hidden gem that does not need to be missed! The tour began, and ended, in the tasting room/bar. Michael, the owner, gave us a history of the building and a background on the business. I always love when you can hear and see the vision of the owner. It really helps you appreciate their proverbial blood, sweat, and tears that went into opening the doors to the public. It took about two years for the renovation of the building to its current state. From the atmosphere to the selection of spirits, Archetype Distillery is a great place to hang out. They even do private events. You get a couple of choices for your tasting, and both are smooth. After the tour, we also ordered the Kitty Galore and I had an Angel's Flight so I could try the beef jerky, habanero, and dill vodkas. Those with a keen eye will notice the ice cubes are actually top hats, which is a theme at Archetype Distillery. (If you want to know why, you'll have to take the tour!) Be sure you check in on Yelp for the BOGO on Thursday and Friday nights!

Tell the bartenders what you like and they'll make something you've never had before!! Made with beef jerky distillate!

Great distillery with many different distilled liquer flavors, including their own gin and vodka made from wine grapes! Distillations include many teas like earl grey, jasmine, rooibos, lapsing souchong, and also unique flavors like blue cheese, beef jerky, habanero, and cacao! Great contemporary industrial vibe. No TV's (at the time of this review), but that helps prevent distractions from what this place thrives to be. Wonderful and knowledgeable bartenders (oops, they're the owners!)!!! Tell them what you like and they'll make you something you've never had before!!!

I love vodka and I love gin - what better place than to come to Archetype Distillery who specializes in both?! Did the $25 tour and tasting + signature cocktail and it was more than I even expected! The vodka and gin are made from grapes grown in Northern California, and the distilling process is extremely intricate and time consuming. BUT it produces one of the most flavorful vodka and gin I've ever had without needing any sort of mixer. The gin has a more botanical taste and aroma, and I absolutely love that even though my dad prefers a more juniper berry flavor. Safe to say he is a gin snob and loved this gin. The Smokey vodka and Smokey gin was so intriguing and had a real smoky flavor - almost like jerky and brisket (don't knock it till you try it). Had the full tour of the distillery which was so incredibly clean and spacious. Perfect event space if you ever needed to rent it out for a party or reception! Finished off with a signature cocktail - I had the gin & tonic and dad had the red rock. Ok but the homemade tonic is INSANELY good. Like, so incredible you all need to book a tour during the week or head down Fri-Sun to have a drink at the bar and lounge. The distillates aren't currently for sale since they are working on bottling and recipes, but if you get the chance to try the earl grey vodka, you will absolutely love it. I wish I could've taken home 10 bottles! All of their distillates are made with the actual ingredient it is infused with (ex: earl grey, habanero, dill, bleu cheese, strawberry, and so many more). If you're looking for a cocktail, tour experience, or a mixture of both - this is the place for you. Cheers!

There's a room for smaller events with this gorgeous mural. They even have empty bottles of their gin and vodka to pose with!

My best friend and I went on their tour of the facility with a cocktail making class and had the best time. Ryan gave us an amazing tour with information about the building, the distilling process, and showed us where they make their unique distillates (and more)! The owner, Michael, showed us how to make four different cocktails with a variety of ingredients and suited to our flavor profiles. We were able to buy premade cocktails using their premium distillates to take home with us! Both were incredibly personable and kind people and made the experience so fun! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're thinking about going, you absolutely should. The experience and atmosphere is unmatched!

My husband and I had a fantastic time. Both bartenders explained everything so well and showed us how to make each drink even at home! We will definitely be ordering their alcohol to our home. It's the best gin and vodka I have tasted so very smooth and the flavored alcohol was amazing. Options like Jalapeño, Serrano, Habanero, orange, ginger, dill and so much more please take your time to come to this place

If you have walked down Broadway over the years you have probably thought to yourself "WHEN will something be done to this dilapidated building?!". An old and scandalous movie theater, with so many tales, could aspire to be something great and a bit out of the ordinary. Today we have Archetype, which has taken this scene of urban despair, and embraced so much of where it started. Stripping away the grime, they have exposed such beauty and history, creating a welcome addition for simple gathering or celebrating momentous occasions. With beautiful brick walls, modern lighting, a rustic balcony overlooking the distillery, they have shaped this perfect piece of old with the new. Wait, did I just get to the point? It IS a Distillery! This abandoned building now produces beautiful gin and vodka, with subtle sweetness and the smoothest finish this side of the Atlantic. Thanks to the owners' distilling forefathers, they have brought to us a perfectly crafted spirit that makes a wonderful cocktail or can be sipped on its' own. They complimented their spirits with some inventive cocktails that include jerky, a mist of lavender, and liquid nitrogen for some theatrical effects! All served by the gregarious Simon, our bartender, who truly was the cherry on top. He posseses the quirkiness of Sherlock Holmes, while crafting drinks you didnt know you wanted. As if reading your mind! Now, I am just a neighbor who has patiently waited for something worthwhile to move in, and I could not be more pleased with what they have created!

We did a family trip up to the mountains for a couple of days and on our way back home, we stopped by the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens because I knew my mother in-law loved flowers and I thought she would enjoy it here. We parked in the parking lot next to the big open field. Unfortunately there was an event that day and we had to pay I think $10 (can't remember the exact amount). I guess it evened out since the garden is free? Anywho, the garden was a short walk from the parking lot. It's named after the former first lady who preferred Vail as their vacation spot and helped the community flourish to what it is today. There's signage throughout the garden to read about Betty Ford, the plants, and wild life. It's a small garden, but there are plants from all over the world and we enjoyed strolling through the various paths. My mother in-law enjoyed it as well, so mission accomplished! If you're in the area and love plants and flowers, it's worth a quick stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

From the small welcome area that can serve as a bar for welcome drinks, to the ceremony area, which truly is so magical feeling as it surrounded by trees, and the sound of a bubbling creek, to the actual house, infrastructure that has bathrooms for guests, as well as respective dressing rooms for parties, this is a unique and gorgeous venue. During the reception that I attended here, we dined under their large, heated tent, which had plenty of room for everything that was needed. There was also WiFi available on site. It was love at first sight. Cheryl gave us the tour at Blackstone Rivers Ranch, she has a beautiful soul as did everyone who works for this venue. Each one of them were so kind and helpful. This venue has years of experience and a preferred list of vendors that make this process much easier and more relaxed as they work so well together (and as a bride you feel comfortable and confident that everything will go well). This is very important working as a team to create such a special day for two people. None of our family or invited friends knew about this place. We had guests from Minnesota, Mexico, California, Spain, Colombia, Panama, and other countries. We knew that they were making a huge sacrifice to be here on our special day. The time for the wedding arrived and when our guests arrived at Blackstone Rivers Ranch they were stunned and delighted, our guests did not stop commenting that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have ever been to. We had compliments about the venue, catering, DJ, coordinator, photographer, EVERYTHING from our guests. As a bride I was afraid of having the same problem as the other brides, who always had some complaint or something that did not go the way they wanted on their special day, BUT NO I was not one of those brides (YAY)! My wedding was the best and the most perfect thanks to Blackstone Rivers Ranch and their list of preferred vendors. Without the help of BRR my wedding would not have been possible to plan as perfectly. Every penny invested in this wedding was worth it to the fullest. My husband and I are more than sure that it was the best decision we have ever made in having a big wedding with 100 guests and not a small wedding with only 15 or 20 guests. My guests fell in love with our wedding and the venue and they couldn't stop talking about it. They all told us that it was worth the sacrifice they made to travel from far away to experience the beautiful views of the mountains and the river at the venue, the big and beautiful white tent. EVERYTHING was romantic and unique. My husband and I will always be grateful to BRR, our words and gratitude will not be enough for the enormous satisfaction and happiness we had on our wedding day.
