We had a wonderful time here. I'd certainly recommend coming to visit and staying for a while. The music was A+ too!

I got the black bean burger with a salad and really enjoyed it! The bun was soft and toasty and the burger tasted great! Salads here and fresh and I was very satisfied with my meal! We had a nice healthy pour of Chardonnay and they consistently refilled our soda. The service was fantastic! Thank you! Will be back!

Brass and Anvil - 4 Stars We took the boys to Brass and…read moreAnvil and had a solid evening. The food was respectable across the board--I had the sirloin which was cooked nicely, and the cream corn was the standout side of the night. One of my sons ordered the braised beef pasta bowl, the other went with the mac and cheese, and we shared a beet salad that was refreshing and well-prepared. Now, here's where this place really shined: our waitress. She was absolutely exceptional--attentive, personable, and kept everything running smoothly despite what looked like a hectic night. Turns out she's from Vermont, DJs on the side, and makes her own jewelry. That kind of hustle and genuine warmth while she's managing a full section? That's the kind of service that makes a restaurant memorable. The food won't blow your mind, but it's quality and well-executed. If you're looking for a comfortable spot with solid fare and great hospitality, Brass and Anvil delivers. Definitely worth a visit.

At $20 for just three meatballs, they also felt especially overpriced. The parmesan truffle fries had an unusual taste--almost as if they had been cooked in old grease--and there wasn't much truffle flavor. The pear salad was okay overall, but the pears didn't seem fresh and tasted more like canned pears. On the positive side, the patio was very nice, and the mezcal cocktail was excellent. It's a great setting, and we really wanted to like it, but given the quality of the food and the prices, the meal just didn't deliver.

We were really excited to try this place after seeing good reviews and finding it on DoorDash, but…read moreunfortunately this was one of the most disappointing food experiences we've had. Our entire order arrived freezing cold, like it had just come out of the refrigerator. We understand delivery can affect temperature, but this was within less than 20 minutes and everything was ice cold. The food itself was just as disappointing. The chicken quesadilla was overstuffed with dry chicken and, oddly, made with Swiss cheese, which completely threw off the flavor. The guacamole had no flavor at all, and the lettuce was visibly browning. The rice was hard, the refried beans were not good, and everything tasted like it had been sitting for a long time. My husband ordered the shrimp enchiladas, which he rated a 2 out of 10. He said they were barely edible. The shrimp ceviche was slightly better at maybe a 5 out of 10, but still nothing we would order again. The fish taco did not taste fresh at all. We also ordered milkshakes, which were very bland and lacked flavor. The only thing that was actually good were the canned sodas, which were cold. To make things more confusing, the DoorDash menu descriptions seemed AI-generated and were hard to understand, which made ordering more difficult. We spent over $100 and ended up throwing most of the food away. It was really disappointing because the menu presents itself as fresh and high quality, but that was not our experience at all.
