Wednesday night and we had all the Italian feels. We were craving some delicious creamy pasta and crusty bread with a generous helping of butter- The bread did not disappoint! Thick slices of bread in a warm basket and butter for days.... I was very impressed with my chicken fettuccine Alfredo- large portion, creamy goodness. My friends were not very happy with the lack of flavor for their shrimp scampi. They did enjoy the large portions of shrimp. They split a dish because they were not hungry enough for their own entree. We did enjoy our time at Bruno's. When the check arrived we noticed a $10 split charge. This wasn't mentioned on the menu or by our waiter. The manger kindly removed it. That was not a highlight- it did kind of ruin our experience, but we appreciated the time the manger took to clear it up. We would understand if it was a policy or printed somewhere for us to see but this made us feel kind of like it was sneakily done. We were willing to look fast that

Always a good, predictable experience at Bruno's. Nice classic atmosphere with views of the canal. The (live) piano music in the background is a nice touch. While "Bruno's Special" was good enough, I'm not sure I'd order it again. Too many other options to try on return visits.

Went to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant was not busy because we only saw 2 other tables with customers. Our waitress was not attentive. We told her this is our first time and the restaurant and told her we don't know what to order, she proceeded to give us more time to look at the menu but was hoping for her to give us recommendations but that was not part of her service. I ordered chicken alfredo and my friend ordered risotto. We had to ask her for the complimentary bread when our food arrived. She did not give it to us willingly. She did not ask if we wanted a drink other than the water that was provided in the beginning. I wanted a glass of wine but did not order because she did not ask and we were already ready to leave. When my friend went to the restroom, she saw our waitress at the bar drinking wine. WOW but could not even ask if we wanted a soda or wine. TWhen we left, there were other staff by the door and NO ONE told us "thank you" " good night" not even our own waitress! It was dead silent and we never felt so unwelcome! Never again!! We were so mad we decided to take our chance to eat here since it was only 10 minutes away. The food was okay but the service is horrible. The check had a name of Figuera and I am guessing that is the waitress name or maybe it was the lady who brought us water. The waitress is an African lady with some sort of french accent?? This place will never get a penny from me ever again.

I came here for my bookclubs Christmas dinner party, and it was perfect. They had enough space for about 23 people; they gave us two separate servers, and one, in particular, was just amazing. I hate I can't recall his name, but we received exceptional service. The Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo was super tasty, and I LOVED the cheesecake.

A beautiful place, with good food. My friends and I went on a recent trip to the DFW region. Great atmosphere, attention to detail and service.

We came her because we were celebrating a birthday. If it was not for the service or the view, I could have easily rated this place a two star. For the appetizer we ordered the shrimp and fried zucchini. The shrimp had completely no flavor and if it wasn't for the sauce to dip it wouldn't have been appetizing. The zucchini was served with a side of marinara which tasted straight out of a can. There was also complimentary bread which tasted like left over microwaved bread. For the entree I ordered the orange roughy which was served with a side of rice and artichokes. I ordered a side of steamed veggies and the carrots were rock hard and luke warm at most. Others in my party ordered the chicken parmesan which was served with penne pasta. They stated the pasta tasted from a box and the marina lacked seasoning. For dessert we tried the tiramisu and chocolate cake. Both were mediocre at best. Unfortunately all the dishes lacked any flavor and after reading a few reviews it was quite disappointing. There are photos of celebrities photographed in the restaurant which seemed dated and possibly there has been a change in the chief because the food would not have anyones recommendation in my opinion.

I had heard a lot of hype about this place and I was excited to try them and came here with a group of friends from work. When you first walk in it's pretty impressive. Right in the entryway are pictures of the owner with several of the Dallas Cowboys including the owners and every coach. When you walk into the dining room it is elegant with beautiful views for the area. It overlooks one of the canals in the Valley Ranch area and create a scenic setting for a pleasant lunch while overlooking the water and the pathways around the water. The service was good and the warm bread that they bring you what is soft I am delicious. I ordered the lemon chicken piccata. I have a real problem when I pay almost $15 for a piece of chicken that is fatty. You cannot tell me that no one in the kitchen notice this when they were preparing the chicken breasts. I would say about one-fifth of my chicken breast was inevitable because of the fat it was grisled with. Overall though the taste was good and everything else about the experience was pretty decent so I will probably be back again and give them another try and adjust my review accordingly.

It was SOOOO LOUD though. just so many people and loud. Hard to have a conversation. Got the crab cake salad ($34). The crab cake itself was legit. The salad part was an interesting set up since they just had the crab cake on the side and then the salad on the side. I really liked it! Tried one of the sushi rolls and it was interesting that they added some olive oil and citrus?? when it wasn't specified on the menu at all.. I liked the roll though. It will run you $20+ for one. It's big but I also feel like you would need to order a side if you wanted to make that your main entree. And paying for 2 sushi rolls at that price point is steep. The lobster roll looked good? very saucy though. A lot of the stuff on the menu is market price like the filet, risotto etc.

I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.

Slow, poor service for mediocre food. How dreadful? Don't recommend…read more A group of friends and I (five of us total) came to Razzoo's for lunch at 1:30pm on Sunday (3/2). While our waitress was nice, our service was extremely slow and she never apologize for the blatant delay in getting anything. I asked for a straw for my water and it took 20 minutes to get that (not joking!). I asked for a cocktail and it took 30 minutes to get it! She even came to the table to ask us if we wanted anything, while we were waiting on our appetizers to come and I was waiting for my cocktail! All I could say was "yes, my drink." Her response to that was "it shouldn't take much longer." Ten minutes later, it arrived. I was annoyed! Another friend asked for a beer and he never got his drink. Never. Like it didn't come. And this was never acknowledged by anyone. No apology. No follow up. Nothing. Another friend has a glutten allergy, and nothing on the special "glutten free menu" was actually glutten free! My friend seriously looked up the ingredients on everything from the list and all of it had glutten in it. She asked for a manager to discuss this, and came over. She ended up getting a salad and they spend over an hour to identify a glutten free dressing they had, which she ended up just having ranch. It was not good service. The food took over an hour to arrive. Again, I'm not exaggerating. It arrived lukewarm and nothing really to write home about. The chicken wings were weird to me but not bad. They tasted like they were cooked in old kitchen grease and then some Cajun seasoning was thrown on them. THE OYSTERS WERE TERRIBLE!!!! They were tiny, and didn't taste like anything to write home about. Disappointing to say the least. After the meal ended, the manager came to our table to thank us for coming in, but all of us were so outdone but didn't feel it was worth saying anything because what difference did it make at that point. We were all finished eating, and she didn't ask us about our experience so we didn't kick her while she was down, but this experience was awful. Nothing was comped and nothing was taken off the bill. There was only like 3 people waiting tables in the whole restaurant, which had about 25-35 people present. It wasn't enough to provide good quality service. I can understand if you're short-staffed, but an apology or acknowledgement about that goes a long way, and that wasn't done. Waiting 15-20 minutes to receive a straw is unacceptable. Waiting 25-30 minutes for a signature cocktail on YOUR menu is unacceptable. Waiting over 40 minutes for appetizers and over an hour for food is unacceptable. And above all, all of this going with no acknowledgement from staff is dreadful. I won't be back.
