After my most recent visit to Bruno's, I've decided to bump them up a star. The place itself, is tiny, but clean. The staff are super friendly and genuinely nice people. As a matter of fact, it's because of them that I'm giving them another star. Last night, my wife and I were in the area, so we popped in for a pie. They have a $10 18 inch cheese pizza deal on Mondays, so we took advantage. As we waited for our pizza, a homeless man came in and told the girl that he didn't have any cash and asked if they'd let him get a slice. When she went to ask her manager, I rose from my seat, ready to buy him one if they refused, but the manager happily heated up a nice big slice of pizza. It was her kindness, warmth, and generosity that impressed me and ultimately hooked my wife and I as forever patrons from then on. The pizza is delicious also. The crust is thin with that perfect balance of crispy and chewy. The sauce is outstanding.. not acidic, not too sweet. They use Grande´ cheese, which in my humble pizza loving opinion, is the very best! My only real negative is that they only have canned and bottled beverages, but that's nothing when you have so many positives. read more

They didn't bring my extra dressing I paid for. I didn't get my extra sauce on my chicken parmigiana , the chicken tasted like the burnt stuff in the bottom of a grease pan and didn't get artichoke hearts in my antipasto salad and that's one of the main reasons I get it. It was a wast of money and it was too late to order from anywhere else. I am going to give a review on all the other sites and google also. read more

This review was long overdue. Good pizza and even better service. I will return whenever I am passing through the area. The staff were all adorable and sweet. The owner has to be the most interesting person I think I've ever met. We spoke for way too long and I literally could have grabbed my PJ's and a bottle of wine and stayed up all night talking some more. Thing is I don't even drink. We got one of those giant pizzas that Bruno's offers and it certainly satisfies. Anytime we enter a pizzeria it's because we are starving and only that heavy dough topped in sauce and cheese can fill our belly sacks. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Happy to have a delivery right to my hotel door! They even knew my address with hotel name, that was helpful. The female on the phone was extremely courteous. We ordered the White pizza and were pleased the flavor of the meat and artichokes, but the hunks of ricotta maybe the wrong choice of cheese. Ricotta is a terribly bland cheese as it is, maybe mozzarella would have been more flavorful? read more

Ordered an 18 inch pizza and a Greek salad to be delivered to a nearby hotel. After giving an ADDITIONAL 25% tip I asked the delivery guy about napkins and a fork for my salad. He said they don't provide that unless you ask for it. Great! Mediocre food. The pizza wasn't anything spectacular...just like any other pizza. The best part of the salad was the stuffed grape leaf. Great pizza and service, very sweet staff and excellent pizza (they had 2 free toppings, and not only let us know about it while ordering but even asked if we wanted to do half and half, absolutely above and beyond great communication). They have the BEST peppers, they sauté them to perfection and this is the first I have ever had sautéed peppers (yellow, red, and green) on pizza. Sauce is also amazing. Delivery took 1hr 15min and we live next to Bruno's! Pizza pie was luke-warm, calzone barely had any filling and was covered in oil/garlic concoction. Philly cheesesteak was dry (bread). If that bread was made daily (which they state) they had it sitting on the counter for hours! Lastly, we ordered the loaded cheese fries... cold and not fully cooked, limp and white. Love this place!! My grandfather and aunt come here every weekend so I was excited to go with while visiting! I already knew I appreciated the people here because they buy a special sausage my grandfather likes and put it on his pizza when he comes in every week! I don't eat dairy, so I just got the salad, but it was fresh and a good size and great price! The new owner of Bruno's Pizza is professional, courteous and clearly knows how to make great pizza! When I go out for pizza, I typically order veggie combos, and am too frequently disappointed by lack of fresh or (worse) canned ingredients. Bruno's veggie pizza was amazing, and reminded me of the great pizzas I enjoyed in northern Italy. Every topping was fresh and the crust was perfect. The ziti on the other was no very tasteful and the chicken didn't seem fresh. The workers were very nice but we ordered for takeout and they forgot any utensils. Terrible experience! I ordered on a Sunday night. I wouldn't have thought it would be too busy. Estimated delivery time was 45-60 minutes. No problem. Well, two hours later we were still waiting. When we called to check on the order, the girl that answered couldn't even confirm whether our order had even been made. We finally get a call to our 10th floor condo to come to the front desk for our order. I've never experienced pizza delivery that didn't bring it to your door and we order out every time we are Fl, which is a few times a year. Of course, with that wait, the food was totally cold. The Stromboli had huge chunks of pepper and onion that had barely been chopped. Cheese was a solid block in the calzone because it was so cold. Very disappointing! This is our favorite pizza place in the area. They specialize in thin crust New York style pizza which is tasty. They are great for delivery or eating in. Our favorite here is the crusting pizza, but it is all good. Our 1 year old liked it. The 4 year old was partial to the plain cheese. He is from New York City so he knows good pizza. We were running late and calling around to find a local pizza delivery place and happened upon Bruno's. Overall very disappointed. Overpriced and poor selection. Couldn't make an antipasto salad. Since we didn't have a menu, we asked if we could get some type of chicken pizza, perhaps chicken Alfredo. What we ended up receiving was a pizza with ziti on it and red sauce?! Moved to Ormond Beach last year and tried all of the pizza shops in the area, as far away as those on Nova. After trying them all, I found Bruno's, hidden away next to Publix. There pizza is the BEST. Very generous with the toppings, all fresh ingredients and great crust. The new owner and staff are very friendly. No more shopping for good pizza, I found Bruno's.
