This pizza smelled so good, lots of cheese and will fill you up after 2 slices. Crust was sweet soft and yummy chewy. The White Pizza included a topping and I added an extra topping of pepperoni. Pizza place is for pick up or delivery. No seats inside but there were 2 outside for while you wait. Order was ready in 15 minutes. I found it a little difficult to back out of the parking area, probably better to have delivered if you're staying close by. So looking for some pizza in NSB? There is a few choices, I said lets try this one. Well, first I think the owners grandma was there helping out, she's a nice lady, they were VERY busy with take out. There is no seating there. Pizza and wings were cooked correctly, the wait time for the take out wasn't bad all things considered. Taste was good. It was, not as a spicy / sweet sauce as I'd like, but when you talk Pizza... everyone's got a level there, so I'm not judging that one. You may think the sauce was amazing. People complained about not answering the phone, hard to back out of, no place to sit, etc. I saw none of this. The owners were very nice, pizza was cooked perfectly, and quickly. I ordered hamburger and yelow onions because that's the way we get it in Omaha. Out of 4 restaurants I checked Mikeys was the only one that would make it the way I wanted it. Decided while in town on vacation that we wanted pizza but not from a chain. Saw Mikey's right down the street from us and decided to give it a try. Our two pizzas were cooked fast and were perfect. Oh my gosh!! Real pizza!!! It is seriously soooo good!! Since moving here I typically just grab a pepperoni pizza at a chain and call it good. Then we ordered from here on a whim!! Oh my gosh! Such great fresh ingredients- quality pizza!! For a girl who typically just like pepperoni to get deluxe love it a BIG deal and my family loved it too!! The white pizza. To die for!! I suggest getting it plain. I added black olives this last time but love it plain. Garlicky goodness!! Salad is a big on the smallish side would be a good side for two but not 3 and at that could have used more lettuce. The garlic bread wasn't bad but not something I'd get again. Just simple bread loaf toasted with butter and garlic, which I like when I make it at home but wanted something a little more robust on the butter and garlic. The pizza is AMAZING! Okay I think this pizza run completes a sampling of just about every pizza in the immediate area including the other local independent shops and the national brands and it tops my list in NSB for best traditional pizza. Fresh quality ingredients, really good cheese over a solid sauce on a crispy delicious crust - it's true better ingredients made a better pizza especially when a local pizza shop pulls it off. There's just something about an old seasoned pizza oven with the heat cranked up, it delivers that old world taste that can't easily be replicated. I enjoy a good brick oven pizza on occasion but for take out or delivery I want this pizza waiting for me when I open the box, it's delicious... read more

I don't know why we haven't eaten here before, we've driven by it all these years that we've visited NSB.....i guess it was probably because it is carry out only. WELL, we were leaving extra early in the morning, didn't feel like dressing up for a sit down restaurant and we decided to order some pizza....BOY ARE WE GLAD WE ORDERED FROM HERE!! i am a firm believer that if a pizzaria can not make a good plain cheese pizza, then they can't make good pizza.....we ordered 1 extra large SUPER & 1 extra large CHEESE. both were fabulous.......great airy crust, tons of toppings, just delicious!! definitely coming back here when we visit again!!! read more

After 3 pies now, I declare that Mikey's is my new favorite Pizza Joint in NSB. Fast service--they often get my orders out in under 15 minutes from my phoned-in order. Amazing crust--not too thick but with a good chew, crispy, and not loaded with fat. They are not NY Style thin crust, but neither are they like a Pizza Hut Pan pizza either. Great ingredients: always seem fresh and tasty. Loaded on a great crust, two pieces are more than a meal for me, and I can put away pizza. So they are not loaded with atmosphere--you call in your order, pay when you get there, pick up at a plain counter from either the very friendly lady or man there and drive off. Don't expect the hang there and chat with your buds over pizza and a beer; this isn't that place. I've not tried the rest of their menu, but will someday and update it here. In the meantime, they are faster than Flagler Avenue Pizza and a really excellent value. read more

We just moved here and ordered a pizza, to be delivered, from Mikey's Pizza. We like to keep the smaller businesses up and running, but I don't know that Mikey's needs our help, because their pizza is on point!! We ordered their Mikey's Deluxe and in a short amount of time it was delivered nice and hot, as if just removed from the oven. I don't know what magical herbs and spices they sprinkle on this and you catch a wee bit of sweetness in the crust, but HOLY deliciousness in every bite. Highly recommend!! We are travelers to NSB each year and always look to support local businesses over national chains. We ordered the white pizza and a deluxe- it was pretty yummy & the toppings had their own flavors. We grabbed some cheese bread and spaghetti with meatballs and I have to say the prices were great! The serving sizes were great as well. We wanted to add a side to our lasagna we were baking. 5 of us shared two cheese breads and one of our kiddos who doesn't like lasagna had the spaghetti. She ate it for 3 days the serving was that big. The cheese bread was more like a no sauce cheese pizza, but the kids love garlic/cheese bread so they'll eat 5-6 pieces each.
