Large cheese, pepperoni, sausage and jalapeño pizza hand crafted, baked and stuffed into a corrugate box piping hot and ready to go, timing is everything when a pizza has to travel and my timing is usually impeccable. The pizza traveled well and was good to eat without an additional heat source - paper plates, a pop and dinner is served. This was my first pizza from Five Star, the box had me doing a double take when I read the top my eyes went directly to the words "Best Value" hey I'm not a pizza snob and I ain't pretentious but I've never been a fan of bargain pizza, now before I bit into the first slice I got an image in my head of the CEO in a fancy boardroom saying "we are going to serve some decent pizza at a great price " Yikes!!! Well to be honest it wasn't love at first bite, I think this pizza grew on me about halfway through the second slice as the endorphins kicked in from the heat of the Jalapeños I like hot and spicy and these peppers are the real deal and plentiful - note to self if you're not the holy crap these are hot type you may want to request light on the Jalapeños at least that what I'm thinking if there is a round two. There are so many options when it comes to pizza in the area that a pizza shop needs to really bring it when it come to quality ingredients and execution - nothing bad here by any means but it doesn't make my top five unfortunately.
