While the patio is nicely designed and has comfy wicker chairs, the parking lot traffic does take a bit from the ambiance. But hey, how often can I dine outside in Florida without dying of heat or mosquitos or drowning in a downpour. They had a ton of delicious specials going but I like to try places for the first time based on my favorite dishes. However, I can't pass up octopus carpaccio and while it was delicious, the slices stuck to the plate which the waiter attributed to being outside where it warmed up. Next time, calamari for sure! I got the fettuccine bolognese as I'm still chasing a sauce that isn't just ground beef added to marinara. I'm happy to say it's the best bolognaise I've found in Central Florida! Their pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich and not overly tomatoey or sweet like most places. It also was fully tossed so it clung to the noodles. Dad was in a pizza mood but was definitely temped by the veal chop special. He ended up with the all in pie and I knew it was a winner when he ate the crust. He's very picky about crust and this hit the mark on texture and taste! So yes, the love this group has for Don Giovanni is real and if you haven't tried it I definitely recommend it!

I come from Brooklyn New York. And as everyone knows the best pizza in the world is made in Brooklyn, Long Island and Manhattan. I rarely eat Italian food when I am down here because it seems everyone down here thinks Olive Garden is the real deal, lol if I want boil in the bag sauce I'll go to the grocery store, lol every time I go to Publix and the door of the pizzeria opened I would smell wonderful smells. So one day while shopping I went in and had a couple of slices and a Coke and I was hooked. Now that I am living down here 6 months out of the year we have them deliver at least once or twice a week. None of our company has ever been disappointed. It is very rare to find a business with such a caring and attentive staff. One night the delivery person forgot to leave our cannolis. By the time we got the pizzas unpacked and noticed they were missing the driver had already called and said she was on her way back. As well as one of the owners calling. My girlfriend and I stopped in for a quick slice for lunch while on our way into the grocery store. We are so lucky we did. I liked that they had so many different choices available for lunch. My girlfriend got the Bruchetta slice and I got a white slice with sundried tomatoes and spinach. Never noticed this place tucked away in the Publix shopping center before. Best Pizza in Florida and hands down best pizza in Ormond Beach / Daytona area. Small spot in Publix shopping center. Proper New York style pizza made to perfection. The pizza chef, Luie, is a super nice guy and knows his way around the kitchen. The also have traditional Italian dishes that look and smell delicious. They run really good daily specials and overall fair prices. We went Tuesday and got the Buy 1 Get 1 Free medium pizza deal. Amazing New York-style pizza! I've had plenty of incredible pies in my life, and this place easily makes my top three. If you're in the area, it's absolutely worth a stop. I highly recommend trying the Philly cheesesteak pizza--it was one of the best I've ever had. Definitely a huge improvement since new management took over . All of their food looked so good I didn't know what to choose so I got some pizza which was the best I've ever had in Ormond and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. The owners are very nice people and the place is extremely clean and in a good location next to the Doghouse Bar. I wish them success but until they get the pizza straight it won't be my first choice.
