Blown away by their steak. The calamari was just wonderful. Went to this place to celebrate Valentines and it did not disappoint.

I'll start off with the food was good but my steak was over cooked. They did however ask if I wanted to get a new steak. The experience was not so great. I ordered an appetizer and never received it. I also ordered a second drink which I never received but I believe it was never placed because it was not on our bill and the server never mentioned it. I do have to mention the place was not very busy when we dined. The staff had a few chances to stand around and talk to each other. I wouldn't have a problem with that if we received our food or drink as ordered. If the experience was better I would have given it more stars. My husband and I had such a special evening at Brunk's steakhouse. It was our first time here as we just moved in the area. It was so special because I will be having my baby anytime now and my husband and I wanted to enjoy our last evening with each-other before giving birth. A Promising New Steakhouse with Room for Improvement, in Horse Town USA. My family and I recently visited the new Brunk's Steakhouse in Norco, and we have some mixed but definitely hopeful thoughts. This place has a lot of potential, especially with high-quality food, but there are a few areas that need attention. Hints the 4 star instead of 5 The Food: The star of the show is the steak. The meat itself was very flavorful and juicy with amazing mouth watering taste in every bite, and clearly of a top/excellent grade. Exceptional Quality Steaks. However, a significant issue was the consistency of how it was cooked, (We believe in time this will be resolved) During our visit, three steaks were sent back to the kitchen because they were not prepared as ordered. My husband's steak was also undercooked for his preference, but he ate it anyway to avoid the hassle. On a brighter note, the side dishes were exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the very tasty and delicious wedged salad, dinner salad, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, corn on cob, and the white mac and cheese. A great feature is that these sides are generously sized for sharing, which makes for a great family-style meal. The drink selection is also impressive, from ice-tea and foundation drinks served with crunchy ice to a wide range of alcoholic beverages. There is a beautiful open bar to indulge your alcoholic beverages. The Service & Ambiance: Hostess, is adorable and sweet. Our waiter had a great personality, and the service was good, but they could be more attentive to customers' needs during their dining experience. The interior of the restaurant is cute and has a unique layout. You can get a view of the cooks preparing the food from some tables, while others offer a view of the outside horse trails or of raw meat hanging in coolers. Being located in Horsetown, across from a feed store and off a horse trail, this makes it an unique restaurant but it does had a noticeable fly problem. A Concern to consider, Flies were flying around our table and inside the windows, making it hard to keep them away from our delicious food. This was a significant drawback. A suggestion for the management would be to install a high velocity air vent by the entry to help with this issue or something to that nature. **Overall, this steakhouse has a fantastic product with its high-quality, flavorful steaks and tasty side dishes. Candied Bacon starter was excellent. Ordered a Hanger Steak MR. Cooked perfectly and tender. Real hanger steak, not flap meat. Chef's choice mashed potatos were very tasty. My friend had the Creme brulee and I almost stole it from him. Overall, I was very pleased with everything, but the prices were pretty tall, however, every part of my experience was excellent and you do not get what you don't pay for. I'll go again. Highly recommend this place our server Cameron was amazing. Gave us recommendations. Drinks were full all the time. My wife ordered a steak and lobster, and there was no comparison. The wife and I went to Brunk's on Saturday with 6pm reservations. We were told our table wasn't ready so we sat at the bar and my wife had a lemon drop which she said was really good. Both bartenders were attentive and engaged in conversation with us. We were sat at our table about 20 minutes later. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer, which was lightly breaded and delicious. I ordered the bone in ribeye medium rare, my wife ordered the salmon. We ordered French fries and Brussels sprouts as in past reviews people said they were good. Waiter was attentive, kept waters full. My steak arrived and it was rare to the point I almost sent it back. It had some kind of herb butter on top, very little seasoning and tasted bland. The steak was very fatty, more than normal for a ribeye and had a lot of connective tissue running through the steak. My wife's salmon was dry and tasteless. The French fries were good but the Brussel sprouts had little flavor even with the thick bacon pieces in it. For a steak house with the prices they have we left disappointed. The waiter gave us a free desert due to our disappointment with our meal. The dessert was good and the overall service was very good. The meal was a let down. read more

We were excited to try this new steakhouse in Norco. Made reservations for 3 on Friday, upon arrival we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. It was very busy and we were sat in a high top near the kitchen that was very cramped in the corner. It was impossible for our server to reach the person on the corner. The style is more sports bar than steakhouse and the high sealings make it loud which is hard to hold conversation. That said, the food was absolutely amazing and the drinks were very good. We've been a customer of the butchery in town for years and the steak was phenomenal at the restaurant. The wait staff was very good, albeit a little stretched. This was their soft opening so I'm sure they will address the noise and cramped seating in the future. We will definitely be back once they open fully! read more

We also had made our reservation a well and half before and were sat by the entrance door sharing a table for 8 with 4 other people. I know this was only a soft opening and I can only add one recommendation and that was if you can add more sides like a loaded baked potato or maybe onion rings :) we got the mashed potatoes and it was just ok could have been a bit more fluffy and the mac and cheese has clumps of cheese.
