Steak

I came here for lunch on a Saturday since it is pretty close to the cemetery where I spent my morning. There was a lot of empty seating. They have a lunch menu so I decided to order the smokehouse burger which was a bit cheaper than the other things on the menu. We also ordered a steak and calamari. The calamari was an appetizer but the portion was huge we were it as a meal. The burger was huge too I ate it in two separate parts. The steak was cooked to our liking and the butter on top was delicious! I would love to know the name of the butter flavor. The service was good too, our server shook my dad's hand which I thought was funny. Bathroom was nice as well and the overall ambience felt very country-like.

We went in with no expectations, saw steak place. It looked good. And we decided to give it a shot. And absolutely loved everything. The meats were well seared and seasoned. The sides were delicious. The service was phenomenal. They advertise it as an upscale steakhouse for this area. Not LA upscale, but like Norco area upscale. It had a very cute ambience very western totally fit the vibe of the city. I love how you can see where all the steaks are being aged. They have ties out front so you can tie up your horse and enjoy a meal. It was definitely a good experience. I will be back. There's other things I wanted to try.

Chicken Chimichurri Sandwich

I was in the area this past weekend and was recommended this restaurant as I was told they had recently started serving lunch. I didnt see any steak options as part of the lunch menu, so I went with the Chicken Chimichurri Sandwich. It came with fries and I also added on a side salad. The salad was amazing as the onions were soaked in a type of balsamic with fruit tones. They were SO good! The fries were really good also. Fries arent hard to mess up but not all places can do them well. These were really good. The sandwich I was a little underwhelmed with. I didnt taste any chimichurri which I was really looking forward to. It has arugula though which I am obsessed with and added great flavor to the sandwich! I definitely would have ordered a steak plate if it was offered for lunch. I did get the dinner menu as well and was told I could order from that. I also had a glass of the J Lohr Chardonnay and it was crisp and perfect. The service was impeccable. The gal that sat me and was my waitress was so friendly and attentive. What I believe was the manager came over and said hello and I shared it was my first time there and that it was recommended to me. I joked with my friend who is local to this restaurant I was going to go check it out, have lunch and maybe wrangle me a Norco Cowboy. I was the only one there for lunch, so that didnt happen but I will definitely come back for lunch again when I am in the area. Last little tidbit, I was really surprised they didnt have country music playing! :)

The charcuterie board, the cheese with some crystal bites are so good!

Good here is superb! They also have a meat market and we love going there. But imagine not just fresh steak from the butcher but they cook it for you! Not only do they cook it they serve yummy drinks! Came here for of course the steak, the drinks and the charcuterie board. This is the only place I can try the cheeses I would like or not. LOL. The owner here, Nicole is on fire! She knows how to run shop at all locations and she's always running in every direction to make sure her customers have a wonderful experience. The ambiance is nice here. You can actually see the cooks cooking if you're sitting close to the kitchen side. We don't have many steakhouses in our area and this one is hands down one of the best! If you're in the area give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

Tomahawk and lobster tail

This is a great steakhouse! Great ambience with the meat cellar visible in the dining room and great country charm. Our server was attentive and had great energy and knowledge of the menu. He walked us through the menu and gave us great suggestions. The food was amazing! The candied bacon slab was tender with just the right amount of sweetness. We also ordered the tomahawk steak, Mac and cheese, calamari and shishito peppers and lobster tails. Tomahawk steak melted in your mouth, Mac and cheese was cheesy but not over powering, calamari had a good light crispy coating and lobster tails were big and fresh! Expect to spend a pretty penny but worth it for the quality and freshness! Definitely will come back!

A new steakhouse in the neighborhood?!!! We had to try. It's a good 5-7 min drive from the fwy(depending on how you drive). It was a little on the pricey side for lunch but worth the experience. Upon arriving, with no reservations on a Wednesday afternoon, we were promptly seated and given the menus. We chose a lunch and a steak plate. It was alright. The fries were a little over seasoned aka too salty. Requested a hot sauce and they mentioned that they do not have it, but they offered some kind of chipotle ranch which turned out to be $3++ for that sauce. Could have mentioned it prior. It was all good. The place is clean, cozy with a full bar available. Parking is ample.

BRUSSEL SPROUTS (DELICIOUS)
Sandra D.

Visited Brunks during their first week (soft opening/limited menu) and we were thoroughly impressed. Everything ran so smoothly during the soft opening, we thought they had been open longer. We ordered the filet mignon, flat iron, Cesar salad, Brussel sprouts and Zinfandel wine. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the brussel sprouts were also amazing. Unfortunately, we didn't do dessert because they only had an ice cream dessert (we are NOT ice cream people). Our server assured us the full menu will definitely have some options. The only (and I mean ONLY drawback were the short barstools for the high bar top). We met Nicole Brunk (one of the owners) and she said they were working on getting the taller barstools :) Overall, the food was AMAZING, the servers were all excellent and the owner was incredibly nice and helpful. We can't wait to come back when they have the full menu available.

Robert preps everything! He's the best at getting things done so the chefs can make their magic for YOU!

In honor of Brunk's, I will take the day off on the anniversary of their Grand Opening. SERIOUSLY good steaks!! And customer service. Mrs. Yelper and I planned to stop by for just for a drink and appetizers at the bar. We were partially successful--we sat at the bar..,but due to peer pressure from Ryan, we "split" (translated: I ate it all) a stunningly beautiful Porterhouse. All is right with the world. We will be back.

The steaks are outstanding! had the surf n turf the lobster was a generous size and super tender and my filet mignon cooked to perfection... Brussels sprouts so delicious. The dessert.... I had the lemon ice cream and my daughter had the coffee ice cream brûlée amazing !! Highly recommend this steakhouse. Casual atmosphere and great service

It took quite awhile to wait but the length was not the issue... The waiting process was confusing. The waitlist text provided minimal info and just said it will update later, but inside the restaurant there was a separate wait line. A bit confusing for first timers to know where to go... Moving on the the actual food. The bread is AMAZING. It was served warm with honey cinnamon butter. The bread itself had a slight cinamom sweetness already, adding the butter spread makes it even more addicting. Worth the calories, asked for more during the meal and packed some home as well. I will 100% come back for just the bread at least. For entree got the fried catfish for $21 and it came with 4 pieces with 2 sides (picked house salad with made in house honey lime dressing and baked sweet potato). Everything is a bit pricey cuz it's a steakhouse, but the food tasted fresh and according to server almost everything is made in house from the marinated pork ribs down to the salad dressings, which was actually pretty good. Had a taste of the table's ny steak order and it was pretty good so might go for that next time... and/or their ribs... p.s. Don't forget to ask for peanuts!

We had a ton of questions about what to order and he provided excellent recommendations. He brought us fresh baked rolls right away which were AHMAZING We both ordered the lunch special which came with soup or salad, 2 sliders, and a side. I chose the garden salad, Western tri-tip, the brisket, and Mac N Cheese. The salad was absolutely delicious!! I dug into it before I took a pick so it's blended together but it had the most delicious croutons and fire grilled corn. The ingredients were really fresh and the salad was not over dressed. The sliders were also really good, however, my first bite of the Western one was literally all fat and I had to spit it out. It made the rest of the sandwich unappetizing but I did hunt for any other major fat pockets and didn't see any. Both sliders were really good. The Mac N Cheese was not my favorite, but I saved it for my daughter and she loved it! Tyler really made our experience epic and the food overall was really good.

Overall, not the best experience for an anniversary dinner.

The octopus was tender and delicious with a heat that built up slowly. The bed of greens was a little over dressed but delicious. The burrito was very good. The bartender took our drink order, and we received chips and salsa, which were very good. However, the bartender seemed a bit distracted, forgot about us, even though it wasn't a busy night. We decided to give it another chance since so many people seem to enjoy this place. We visited again, and we ordered a few drinks, received chips and salsa, then placed our food order. We waited for a bit and ordered a few more drinks. Unfortunately, after waiting about an hour, we never received our meal or any update on its status. We eventually decided to close out our bill. At that point, we noticed we had been charged for the meal we never received, as well as drinks that were not served. When we brought this to the bartender's attention, they raised their voice and told us we were wrong, which caught us by surprise. I understand that things can get busy, but a lack of communication and being spoken to disrespectfully is unacceptable. A simple check-in or update would have made a big difference. Based on this experience, we're unlikely to return. We really wanted this to work, but maybe you had to be regular customer to get better service?! We tried, but this place is a solid No for us.

As it turned out, the place wasn't busy. A special treat was that a group of bluegrass musicians was jamming as we ate. Apparently they are there every Saturday morning. The ambience is quite dark and moody with wood paneling and minimal lighting that made me use my phone flashlight to read the menu more easily--more of the saloon vibe than a restaurant. But it fit the Western theme. The breakfast menu was pretty varied, the portions were large, and the food was pretty good, though not the best I've had. There was an error in one order, and I'll give the server slack because a group of ten is a lot to handle, but syrup arrived late for the pancakes, and butter and jam had to be requested for the biscuits. One odd thing was that they had no decaf coffee. The family was pleased. Overall, I'd call it a solid but not quite stellar choice for an old-fashioned breakfast in a theme setting.

She truly did the best she could under the circumstances, and it did not go unnoticed. The reason for the 3-star rating is primarily due to the establishment being severely understaffed during our visit. In addition, the overall presentation and cleanliness of the venue appeared neglected, likely from the UFC fight night event held the evening prior. Came here with friends during lunch hour & got some items from the "lunch deals" section. For the lunch deals, we got the 2 chicken tacos, which comes with chips & salsa. There was a decent amount of chips and salsa and the tacos were a good size & had good flavors. 8/10 for the chicken tacos. My friend got the traditional wings (6 piece) lunch deal which comes with a side of fries & celery. The sizes of the wings look decent & she enjoyed the meal. Our party also got the steak tacos & steak nachos. This time, there was a decent amount of steak on the nachos and it paired perfectly with everything. The first time we came here and we got the nachos during our last visit, there was barely any steak on the nachos so I'm glad they corrected it and making it better. 8/10 for the nachos. Drinks: my group mainly got beer so they were all good & happy with it. I wanted a margarita flight and well, that was pretty disappointing. It was supposed to be 4 different flavors/drinks with tequila. But where was the tequila? I felt that they should've been upfront with it on the menu and called it a mocktail or something because when we didn't taste any tequila in it, we asked the waitress & she mentioned to us that there is only 1 shot of tequila for the whole flight...like what?! That flight cost $20 so you're telling me I'm basically buying $20 worth of juice since the tequila is non-existent?! That was truly disappointing to hear & even the waitress said she would never recommend the flight because of it and it wasn't fun to make. So do better Brass Tap, either add more tequila to your flight to make it actually worth $20 or just remove it all together from your menu. Deceiving & a total waste. 0/10 for the flight. Thankfully the waitress removed it from our bill without issue & got me the watermelon margarita to replace it. Much better and you can taste some tequila in it (not much but a lot more than what was sprinkled onto the flight). 6/10 for the watermelon drink. Overall the service is decent and the space is decent for small groups. There's seating at the bar area and tables inside and outside. Decor was typical for these type of place. Plenty of parking as well. Will I be back? Maybe if drinks are better.
