I was concerned about the other 1 and 2 start reviews, but when I say this place exceeded my expectations, it wouldn't do it justice. Our service was great. My old fashions were good to great. My family and I got to enjoy our night at a preview dinner prior to the grand opening, and it was absolutely incredible! Every staff member (including our server, who was the best) was ON IT and so kind. The manager and owner made their way around to introduce themselves to all the guests and answer any questions. The food was spectacular, my lychee martini was perfection, and the lemon ice cream for dessert is something everyone needs to try at least once. Brunk's Steakhouse was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the waygu gold ribeye and the mashed potatoes. It was perfect with our wine and old fashioned. The staff was wonderful. Excellent first experience! We weren't super hungry so we came in for drinks and appetizers at the bar. We were well taken care of my Justin who was working the bar tonight. His old fashions are on point! We ordered the candied bacon, shrimp cocktail, and calamari. All we're fantastic with special sauces made with fresh ingredients (fresh horseradish in the cocktail sauce was so good). We can't wait to come back for some actual steak! My husband took me here for an early birthday dinner. It was a wonderful experience. Ashley was our waitress and she hangout with us a bit, got to know us, asked questions, shared her recommendations, and really took good care of us. We also were lucky enough to be sat at the chefs table. We got to see the kitchen, watch them cooking, talk with the head chef, and got some special goodies to try. All the food was great, but the filet mignon was by far my favorite. It doesn't need anything on it at all, but we added butter and it just added more flavor. We also had brussel sprouts, candied bacon (chefs treat), potatoes with a cream sauce (chefs treat), and the pear dessert with ice cream (chefs treat) and they were amazing! Stopped here during soft opening and they've already created a destination worth visiting. Ribeye was juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned. Friend had steak frites and I was amazed how different the cuts tasted... as they should but so rarely do in many spots. Sides were scrumptious but that steak is what's making me drool. Staff was great, very attentive without annoying and genuinely friendly. Volume felt perfect, very easy to converse and hear. The only thing that felt minorly out of place were the tvs at the bar - we didn't mind as they were muted but the vibe is very "comfort upscale" (w an awesome see thru meat room) but the tvs read sports bar. If it were me I'd consider removing them, as I can't possibly imagine being pleased if I'd come in for dinner and there was a big game on. Just my two cents. He never let a drink go dry. we order the filet mignon with lobster and the 18 ounce ribeye. The flavor was amazing on both and we also ordered the bacon appetizer. It tasted like you were eating a smoked ham.. our sides were mashed potatoes I'll give them a seven mac & cheese a strong 9.5 mushrooms an eight corn on the cob. Let's talk about the corn on the cob. It wasn't what we expected. They put a lemon sauce on it and for me and my friend it wasn't something that we liked, but the Husband loved it so we will give that a strong five. The steaks I would give them both tins cooked to perfection and then the final finale was the ice cream with honey on top. Well that was the best ice cream. I think I've ever had at a restaurant. That is a definitely a solid 10 . The owner. Did come around and talk to each table, which was very impressive. Best steak I've ever had they butcher it there. You can get any cut imaginable great chicken. I love chicken and they have a half of a roasted chicken. That is unbelievable. They have different types of homemade sauces. Everything is made in house right down to the mashed potatoes, I watched them myself with the potatoes everything there the food was amazing. The salads were impeccable. The dressings were unbelievable. This was true gourmet food. There were three of us and we all just love this place. I have never had a meal so good and I can't remember when I'll tell you it was a heck of a lot better than the last time I went to Morton's and this was just a quaint little place in Norco we love it the owner greeted us when we came in. She asked us how everything was. The bus boy was the friendliest bus boy I've ever encountered greeted us and said hello introduced himself our waitress was unbelievable. She was excellent the bartender what a great personality was willing to help and make any kind of drink you could dream up the prices were really fair To there was nothing. I can say that isn't 100% perfect with this place. This lady was her dream restaurant to open and her dream has come true and her dream is a big one because I've never been to a place this good I hope more people get to enjoy this place cause it's a real tree and we wanna thank all the staff and the owner at Brunks steakhouse in Norco at 4410 California Ave., Norco it's a bit of a drive for us because we were at the big shooting range Ruhagus it's close to there for all you people that like to go shooting. It's a pretty busy place so if you visit Reggies, you have to stop at BRUNKS steakhouse it's a real treat and even if you don't shoot, you still have to go out and try it. We made reservations for a Saturday night. When we arrived, someone else had mistakenly been given our reserved table. The hostess quickly seated us at a high top table near the kitchen. We were told it was a chef's table and we did get to try a complimentary appetizer which was much appreciated. The steaks were top quality and seasoned well. However, we asked for medium rare and the steak was more rare than expected.The asparagus, mac and cheese and salads were all good. The quality of the drinks did not match the prices. I was really looking forward to trying this new restaurant in Norco. I had been watching its progress waiting for it to open. So Friday night 8/16/25 I called to see if they finally open and the person answering the phone told me yes. So we decided to try it out but when we got there they told us it was reservations only. Now why wouldn't the person on the phone tell us that when I called?! I would really like to try it but it might be awhile before I give you my business. This restaurant is absolutely horrible and disappointing. I can't tell you what is good about it. I have gone twice now. Once when they first opened and it was a huge mess. They overcharged us for dishes overcooked dishes and undercooked dishes too. This was a nightmare of a place. Horrible service too. Second time had horrible wait. Waited over 30 minutes for a baked potato. Ordered two and one came out quick and the other came out way later. The pasta sauces were horrible. The mac and cheese sauce was bad too. The sauce was separated and had chunks of flour in it. The chef needs to get it together here. I have heard through multiple people that supposedly they have had different chefs but I guess none of them worked out. They need to stick to just being a butcher and scratch the restaurant dream. I am convinced all of the good reviews are just friends and family and this here is a real review. It is extremely overpriced and just not good food at all save your money and eat at saddle sore down the street for way better food. Goes to show you can have the looks and the ambiance and ingredients but if you can't make the ingredients into good food it doesn't mean anything Hahaha. PLEASE SAVE UR MONEY EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE. The steaks were top tier my girl got a filet medium rare and the crust on it was un like any other place iv been to and also cooked to perfection! I got the ribeye also medium rare and it was amazing great crust as well. Favorite side was the Mac and cheese and do yourself a favor and add the truffle oil it levels it up big time. Our party had a reservation at 5 right when they opened, greeted right away which was good but thats where good stopped... layout is not very conducive to operations with walk in one side and kitchen on other, worry bout cross contamination definitely. Being it opened at 5 were told after we ordered that one cut of steak already was "sold out", very disappointing. Told mashed potatoes could be for two, definitely not. No drink menu present so no way to know what was behind the bar. Steaks were okay, table had a variety, some under cooked. Not evenly cooked, one well done on the outside, med/raw on the inside. Porterhouse was good on one side, way overcooked on the other. It's almost like the throw the steak on the grill ice cold. Ordered the steak frities...worst steak frities I've ever tried. We asked our server to pre slice the steak (since we noticed another customers order came out whole steak, and most places slice up the steak and lay it over a bed of frities) and was told the can't due to "presentation " but five minutes later watched the bring out chicken wings (not on menu)to a young couple...who obviously knew the owner or relatives of owner. So presentation in a "steak house " doesn't mean anything if you know someone. Presentation of it was not great as they served the steak frities. Steak knives they have are horrible! Invest in better knives for the tables. Like I said we had high hopes. But probably will never go back. This has nothing to do with prices. We eat out a lot and have been to many steakhouses around the country. Prices are normal for a steakhouse...but not normal for what you get And yes we ate our steaks. I talked another couple into going to Brunks because we had passed it and it looked really nice, . It started out pretty good, but when my husband ordered a salad with blue cheese dressing, they brought him one little dressing and one little crumbled blue cheese, that was an $8.00 extra charge. Ridiculous. Then we ordered a side mashed potatoes. We had to send them back, because they were cold. Out of 4 people, my steak was the only one that we didn't send back. 8oz Filet was excellent and companions said their steaks were great which were two more filets and a regular bone-in rib-eye. Not a good place if you want to have a conversation, music and open area makes it hard to hear. Prices are comparable to Flemings and Duane's Steakhouses. They still need to do more work. Such as create a drink menu. It is hard to order a glass of wine if you do not know the price upfront. A companion wanted the Porterhouse steak and was told it would take an hour before they could cook it, never heard that before, so he changed to the Filet. Server was friendly he just needed to speak louder because we could hardly hear him to give him our order. All in all they are on their way to being a good steakhouse which we need in the Corona/Norco area. read more

We had dinner party of three August 7 ...we arrived on time and were seated at table next to the door...didn't dig the table location. We ordered drinks, sides and two steaks. Kicked one steak back as it was overdone ...ordered medium (pink center) and it was essentially well done. Staff hustled and replacement steak was cooked nicely. Returning steaks always a problem as now timing is off for the rest of the table. Steak flavor was very good ...nicely seasoned and high quality meat. Sides were small portions and really not shareable. Normally steakhouse sides are shareable for the table. Frites were good as was the wedge. I don't mean to be rude but appearance was like paste ...very unappetizing aesthetic and appearance. Was told wedge was a half portion (@ $21 ...jeez). Very limited bar ...ordered a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned and a Manhattan. Bar did not have Buffalo Trace ...settled for a rye:/ Old Fashioned appeared to be well crafted. Cocktail glasses were a stemless wine glass type...Maybe this is trendy but I don't know ...much prefer a proper rocks glass and maybe a coupe for the Manhattan. Ordered a glass of red wine ...only Cabernet Sauvignon was Josh.... No cocktail nor wine lists. At steakhouse prices ($70- $100+) for steak a la carte definitely need to up the bar/cocktail/wine game to properly complement. Atmosphere / vibe seemed fancy sports bar / bistro setting. Terrible experience. We had dinner with another couple requested separate bills but told they would figure out later learning they could not or did not want to separate the bill. I requested a side of ranch for my salad and the waiter got down on his knee and stated there would be an extra charge for my request. Our friends requested his blue cheese crumbles for his salad be placed on the side however he was charged $8.00 for this request. We all ordered mash potatoes with our steak and everyone's was ice cold. My wife and I ordered our steak medium well and the steaks were sent back 3 different times because they were under cooked. On the third occasion my steak still had blood seeping on the plate and wife's steak was over cooked and burnt. When we addressed issue with the manager he rolled his eyes at the waiter clearly visible to my wife. Our friends had to send his steak back as well as it was under cooked. Another couple next to us returned their steak twice and another couple had the same issue. We felt the manager was sarcastic and was not customer friendly. We will never return to this restaurant and the prices were extremely high. When the bill was delivered the waiter did not have the bill split as requested and was not sure if he could do it due to the computer system. He indicated he would try but was sure if this could be accomplished. This has never been an issue at any other restaurant.
