New breakfast place for me this morning and I enjoyed the very good coffee and the side of tasty fluffy pancakes that came with my eggs benedict. However, the eggs came with a very generous dusting of what tasted like curry powder. Not a good match atop the hollondaise. Cute little place, extremely busy on the weekends, but perfect for - you guessed it - brunch! Now I'm not a huge brunch gal...I usually choose a lunch option at these places, but I wasn't feeling the sandwiches or burger options they had so I decided to get a steak skillet with scrambled eggs and a side of grits. I had read beforehand that someone said the steak was better than a traditional "steakhouse" version so I was super excited. Unfortunately, I would disagree. The atmosphere and ambiance is done in a whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme. It is fun and tastefully done! Speaking of tastefully done, I got the meat lovers omelette and it was delicious! Almost too much meat, if there is such a thing! It came with a side and I chose Pancakes. They were light and fluffy and delicious. I added hash browns and they were really good too! The black beans had a touch of kick. We had to try one of the specialty French toast, so we have the pecan. Yummy and loaded with pecans. Wifey had the Tuscan panini and was very impressed. It was filled with fresh spinach,mushrooms and peppers as well as mozzarella. The side of berries was very legit. Overall glad to have an alternative to Dennys or IHOP. read more

Waited 30 min just to be seated then waited an hour for steak and eggs to be cooked rare and kept being cooked well done. Very annoyed iced mocha was so sweet couldn't even drink it what a shame to come visiting out of California. We came in around 10 am on Sunday, waited for about 5 min before we got a table. We ordered out and it came out very fast. However, the quality of food was not good at all! I ordered healthy scramble and ask to sub bell pepper and spinach to tomatoes and onions. Tomatoes were not there at all, onions and mushrooms were raw. My son ordered an omelette and it was very undercooked inside. We had to send it back to cook it longer. My husband had apple cinnamon crepes, the crepes are fine, but the apple filling tasted like it was a pie filling from a can. I would not recommend this place. read more

The cups these were served in were so hot I burned my finger on side of mug. So beware. We ordered the chicken fried chicken and eggs with grits. And the very berry with mascarpone waffle. The chicken and eggs were done actually perfectly. Grits watery (don't recommend). And the waffle was a bit underdone and flat. Next time I will ask for a well done waffle to have more firmness and rise. Overall the flavor of the waffle was really good. Now the inside of place is cute and decorative, however it is not sound insulted so it's quite loud. So you'll have to speak up when you are chatting. read more

The breakfast is always great. Great service and short wait time. Atmosphere is extremely inviting. My only complaint is the orange juice is way too expressive. It's fresh made. I'd rather have frozen orange juice from a can at a reasonable price. The coffee is too expensive, tastes terrible and you're never offered a refresher refill. Sugar on the table is dumb little tubes instead of real sugar. Other than these dissatisfactions, we still return almost weekly. read more

I've been going to this restaurant every sat/sun lately and I guess the last time was a bad day. Our waiter doesn't really seem to be that great in the first place but then they gave him a table of 10 right next to ours and it was like we disappeared. As if that wasn't bad enough the older lady that looks like a co-owner or manager passed our table at 5-10 times and didn't check how everything was when our drinks were empty most of the visit.
