A bit disappointed on this visit. The service was slow, my daughter's waffle came out five minutes after my wife's and my meals, coffee was brought out five minutes after we were seated. My breakfast enchiladas were cold and it took them a few minutes to bring out the syrup for my wife's waffle which by then had become lukewarm. Not sure why the service was this bad today. On our previous visits, they have been great. read more

We were initially here for Spitz, but it wasn't open yet, so we decided to try Brunch Time instead. The ambiance was very nice and bright. We felt very welcome and seated right away. We ordered Migas(my favorite)and Buffalo chicken wrap with fries. My Migas came with black beans and has browns. Our server was very friendly and prompt. It was right amount of food. First time at Brunch Time, very busy. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, they also have outside seating to wait. Once seated you get quick service. Our server, April, is very courteous, friendly and professional, always providing service with a smile. Good good! Perfect way to start the day. It is loud, as it in enclosed and tables are somewhat close, so having conversations is a bit challenging, but other than that all is good. read more

I love breakfast tacos and these did not disappoint. The salsa took it up a notch. I'm not sure if it was from scratch or not but it tasted like it was. It didn't seem to be open very long. It looked new and it was clean, including the restroom. read more

The decorations around the restaurant were amazing and the presentation was great. There is a lot of potential. The food was really dry. The steak was super chewy and overcooked and dry. The atmosphere and ambiance is done in a whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme. It is fun and tastefully done! Speaking of tastefully done, I got the meat lovers omelette and it was delicious! Almost too much meat, if there is such a thing! It came with a side and I chose Pancakes. They were light and fluffy and delicious. I added hash browns and they were really good too! Cute little place, extremely busy on the weekends, but perfect for - you guessed it - brunch! Now I'm not a huge brunch gal...I usually choose a lunch option at these places, but I wasn't feeling the sandwiches or burger options they had so I decided to get a steak skillet with scrambled eggs and a side of grits. I had read beforehand that someone said the steak was better than a traditional "steakhouse" version so I was super excited. Unfortunately, I would disagree. It was good...but breakfasty good if that makes sense. Everyone else at my table enjoyed their selections and the service was fantastic. Egg yolk was a little over - wasn't running, waffle was a little too soft/soggy. My friend ordered the steak and eggs - requested med rare - turned out well done. Eggs not seasoned. Pancakes were ok, barely taste the cinnamon. Hashbrowns were overcooked - crispy but dry. Really busy, servers look a little overwhelmed. New breakfast place for me this morning and I enjoyed the very good coffee and the side of tasty fluffy pancakes that came with my eggs benedict. However, the eggs came with a very generous dusting of what tasted like curry powder. Not a good match atop the hollondaise. I did not complain so as not to insult but it was an aftertaste that stayed with me all morning. Beware if this is not a spice you enjoy! read more

This is my all time FAVORITE brunch place. The service is excellent and the staff is so pleasant, especially Oscar and Miguel. The food is the best around, its the reason I keep coming back. Newest breakfast/brunch place in Pläno. Very cute and open. Comfortable seating as well. The menu is quite varied for both. I chose the migas that were egg-cellent. The black beans had a touch of kick. We had to try one of the specialty French toast, so we have the pecan. Yummy and loaded with pecans. Wifey had the Tuscan panini and was very impressed. It was filled with fresh spinach,mushrooms and peppers as well as mozzarella. The side of berries was very legit. Overall glad to have an alternative to Dennys or IHOP. read more

This restaurant had an Alice in the Wonderland theme but they could've made it so much better to align with the story. For instance, when I ordered a cappuccino, I wish it was served in the little cute coffee cups to match the theme. The food was plentiful & delicious! The service was excellent! Waited 30 min just to be seated then waited an hour for steak and eggs to be cooked rare and kept being cooked well done. Very annoyed iced mocha was so sweet couldn't even drink it what a shame to come visiting out of California. They were so packed that the kitchen was so overwhelmed on cooking the food and pushing it out! Will I recommend this place absolutely not if you would like breakfast in the next century!! read more

My recent dining experience at Brunch Time was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and a welcoming demeanor that set a positive tone for the rest of the morning. My server was nothing short of amazing. He was not only knowledgeable about the menu, but his recommendations were spot-on. He really took the time to make me feel like a valued guest rather than just another table in the restaurant. The service, as a whole, was attentive without being overbearing, allowing me to savor my meal in peace, but checking in just enough to make sure everything was to my liking. My breakfast not only looked AMAZING, but it was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Everything was cooked to PERFECTION!!! Although the food at Brunch Time was wonderful, it was the attentive and warm service that truly elevated the experience for me. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal coupled with phenomenal service. We came in around 10 am on Sunday, waited for about 5 min before we got a table. We ordered out and it came out very fast. However, the quality of food was not good at all! I ordered healthy scramble and ask to sub bell pepper and spinach to tomatoes and onions. Tomatoes were not there at all, onions and mushrooms were raw. My son ordered an omelette and it was very undercooked inside. We had to send it back to cook it longer. My husband had apple cinnamon crepes, the crepes are fine, but the apple filling tasted like it was a pie filling from a can. I would not recommend this place. read more

Food- 2 of our party had breakfast and really enjoyed theirs. Two of us had burgers. Burgers looked delicious but the meat had no flavor, all the toppings were good though. Service was okay. We happened to drive by this new breakfast/brunch place and popped in today around 1100. We were seated quickly and waiting on promptly. Ordered a cappuccino and a hot mocha. The cups these were served in were so hot I burned my finger on side of mug. So beware. We ordered the chicken fried chicken and eggs with grits. And the very berry with mascarpone waffle. The chicken and eggs were done actually perfectly. Grits watery (don't recommend). And the waffle was a bit underdone and flat. Next time I will ask for a well done waffle to have more firmness and rise. Overall the flavor of the waffle was really good. Now the inside of place is cute and decorative, however it is not sound insulted so it's quite loud. So you'll have to speak up when you are chatting. read more

The food is spectacular, the service is great, and the restaurant decor is fun. Great place to take the family or meet up with friends. The restaurant decor is great pictures. The Brunch Time Traditional breakfast was good and the bacon phenomenal! The flavor and the crispiness were perfect. Best bacon I've tasted for brunch. The Pork Carnitas Skillet was full of flavor and you could sub the side and get tortillas, which go perfectly with the meal. We asked for salsa and it was a perfect addition to complement our breakfast. The uniqueness of the light fixtures and the decor make this place enjoyable for breakfast and give guests some inspiration for their social media. The server was wonderful and made sure our cups of coffee were always full. She was attentive to our needs and never made us feel like we had to rush through our meal, which is what I like. The breakfast is always great. Great service and short wait time. Atmosphere is extremely inviting. My only complaint is the orange juice is way too expressive. It's fresh made. I'd rather have frozen orange juice from a can at a reasonable price. The coffee is too expensive, tastes terrible and you're never offered a refresher refill. Sugar on the table is dumb little tubes instead of real sugar. Other than these dissatisfactions, we still return almost weekly. read more

So not only was the meal disappointing, I ended up being the unfortunate victim of what I believe was food poisoning afterward. Definitely not the kind of experience anyone expects after paying for a meal. To the owners: this was money wasted, and I sincerely hope you take food quality control and service standards more seriously. Customers shouldn't leave your restaurant wondering whether their dinner is going to make them throw up due to food poisoning couple of hours later. Fortunately, DFW has no shortage of restaurants, and the competition here is fierce. With so many alternatives, second chances aren't guaranteed. Restaurants that can't consistently maintain food quality and service standards eventually lose customers to places that can. For us, Sinbad was a one-and-done experience. The name may be Sinbad, but unfortunately, the food was a "sin" to consume since it was so "bad" (no pun intended.)

Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. If I could give zero stars, I would. We put our name on the waitlist and were left standing while we waited. A group came in after us, and the hostess immediately informed them that there was a waiting area in the back. We were never given that same courtesy. To make matters worse, that same group, who arrived after us, was seated before us. What bothered me most was the way the situation was handled. The hostess was rude and dismissive, and the owner witnessed the interaction, heard the way we were spoken to, and chose to justify her behavior rather than address it. When I walk into an establishment, I am there to spend my hard-earned money, and I expect to be treated with the same basic respect and courtesy as every other paying customer. It is difficult to ignore or accept noticeably different treatment when you watch people who do not look like you receive a level of consideration and courtesy that was not extended to you. This experience left me feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. I will not spend my money in a business where I feel that I am treated differently or where disrespectful behavior toward customers is defended rather than corrected. I cannot recommend Brunch Time based on my experience. At this point, no apology would be accepted, even IF the owner cared enough to offer one. The time to apologize, take accountability, and rectify the situation was when it happened. Instead, the owner witnessed the behavior, heard the disrespect, and chose to justify it. That decision spoke louder than any apology ever could. I sincerely hope that people of color understand that, based on my experience, this did NOT feel like a space where we are equally welcomed, valued, or respected. I have no way of knowing how many other people have experienced similar treatment at this establishment, whether they recognized it in the moment or simply walked away wondering why something didn't feel right. But I do know this: if this type of treatment can happen to one person and be dismissed and defended by ownership, there is absolutely no reason to believe it couldn't happen or hasn't happened to someone else. I will not be returning. I will not accept a performative apology after the fact. And I will not quietly support an establishment where I was made to feel that my presence, my dignity, and my HARD-EARNED money were somehow less valuable than someone else's. read more

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. However, the overwhelming fragrance in the dining area made the experience unpleasant. It felt like eating in a candle shop or a bingo hall with overpowering scents. When I brought it up with the manager, they admitted I wasn't the first to complain and explained that the fragrance is linked to the central ventilation system. Unfortunately, the strong smell gave me a headache, and I won't be returning despite the quality of the food and service. read more

As a restaurant owner myself, I was so impressed by his personality, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality that I almost wanted to recruit him for my own restaurant! Once I found out he was the owners' son, I understood why he took such pride in taking care of every detail. It was easily some of the best service we have received anywhere in quite some time. I also love that Aroma is a family-owned and family-oriented restaurant. I feel a special connection to places like this and genuinely enjoy supporting them. I cannot recommend Aroma enough. The food, presentation, atmosphere, and exceptional service were all outstanding. We will absolutely be back!

It doesn't appear there is any management on site. Please sort this out- we love your food. We love that it's local and we want to tell everyone we know to come eat here.
