There are only a few parking spots facing the street, but if you go around the corner there is much more parking along the side of the building. The dining area inside is small and dim and nothing exceptional. The menu seems relatively small, but they have pretty much any dish I could ever want. If you compare, you will notice that their menu is NOT a carbon copy of all the other Chinese places in town. Different restaurants, but the same numbers, sections, dishes, etc. Yee has their own distinct menu, daily specials, combos. They made it their own. Overall the food is good but can sometimes be greasy or salty depending on what you get. I have never had anything so bad I wouldn't eat it. Highly recommended. For Chinese food in Slidell Yee is the place to go.

I had very humble beginnings, had to make do with very little. Spam was a frequent protein for our meals, and I ate everything on my plate, because it wasn't much and we couldn't afford to waste. My young childhood growing up in a one parent household in Tallahassee, FL is probably at the root of me not wanting to share this, because I don't want to share long waits and a packed restaurant with everyone, I want to keep it all to myself. But, I am taking a leap of faith that my group centered behavior will reward my brains pleasure centers and fill me with self rewarding feelings as a result of sharing my thoughts about this gem in THE Dell. Koi's simply has the best sushi my son and I have ever had. We love our sushi, and we've eaten it everywhere within 50 miles of Slidell, and obviously all over the country, FL,WA,NC, SC, CA, etc.... The specialty rolls at Koi's are simply a work of art, and in a class all to their own. Nowhere comes close in my opinion. The flavor profiles can be so diverse and deliciously contrasting, every bite we take, we look at each other and simply cannot resist saying "O.M.G, so freaking good"! Our go to favorites are the Assassin, Independence, and the Rip Curl. My son swears that Nobu downtown New Orleans has the best quality ingredients for nigiri or sashimi lovers, but if you like great quality ingredients with a flavor adventure in every bite with your specialty roll selections, Koi's for the win. Do not sleep on this place, Slidell. Service is consistently great here as well. Friendly, timely, efficient, and we've seen similar faces for years now, which only helps validate this place is truly special. My perspective, they all feel invested in the guest experience, and I'm just grateful we have the opportunity to enjoy their service and food creations. Oh, did I mention EXCELLENT VALUE as well? Thank you, Koi's. Amazing!
