My first time here and I love it. The ladies are fast and efficient. Went for an eyebrow wax and wanted her to give it more of an arch. After the wax, she threaded it to give it more shape. If there's no one there, you can be in and out in about ten minutes. $7 , accepts walk ins, and they have a rewards program-- after ten waxes/threads, you get a free one. So first off, I'm the kind of person who only remembers to pluck my eyebrows when I look in the mirror and realize that bug above my eye is in fact just a stray hair. Even worse, now that I'm in school, despite my ache to pluck my eyebrows, work gets in the way and they grow out even worse. I think to myself, must find a cheap waxing place. Of course I log onto Yelp. And I find Brow Zone. At the promises of $12 for eyebrows AND upper-lip threading, I'm in. I go in 20 minutes before closing, surprised that she's willing to take me. But she knew what was up. I was out of there in no more than 10 minutes. Came here to thread my eyebrows for the first time ever and I have to say it's definitely worth it for the price you pay (~$7). All you have to do is walk in and they'll seat you down soon. The threading took less than 5 minutes! Super efficient read more

I'm intrigued by the general practice of threading, but my sensitive skin appreciates this non- chemical approach. You need your eyebrows done at a good price without a ridiculous wait and fear of the outcome? Brow Zone is right for you. They offer other non-eyebrow services, but I can't speak for those. They also take credit cards. Bonus! The only complaint abut this place is that their rewards card takes so long to get a free threading- literally almost 30% longer than the frequent visit cards from other threading shops (they sign your card with each visit and then you get a free threading after your 14th visitor so) . My brows were getting ferocious and I need some maintenance on them ASAP. I asked my boss who recommended this place and it's right next door. I walked in a little nervous because I just need a quick clean up - no pencil shaping, no high lighting, no designing just clean em up. They sat me down and got to work. I've had my brows threaded a few time before and one time it was really good and the second time was really bad... sooo I was a little nervous to see the outcome of this. Thankfully it was PERFECT and CHEAP! They saw my right away, were very quick, did the job well and it cost less than 10 bucks. What more can you ask for? Besides it being close to my job the prices are fantastic for the area! Eyebrow threading costs $7. Usually there is no wait to be seen. I like leaving my eyebrows thick and let the employees know beforehand. They're always quick and do a great job! They accept cards and there is no minimum. Today I got my lash extensions done by Mandy. I highly recommend her because she can perform miracles. I have absolutely no lashes (very short) once done I walk out with fluttering beautiful long NATURAL-LOOKING LASHES. Mandy has been doing my lashes for over a year now and I have never once had any issues with her services not customers satisfaction about her work!!!! Mandy is very friendly, patient and well educated in explaining the before, during, and after treatment about your lashes once you get them done. Went for an eyebrow threading. Left with totally uneven brows and a mess of plucked eyebrow hair all over my face that the technician did not bother to wipe away. I paid with a credit card and asked the technician to add on to the charge a $1 tip. She took the liberty of processing for herself a $1.69 tip. 69 cents is nothing to gripe over so I left without saying anything, but I think the principle of the matter speaks loudly against her. She did a bad job and I will not go back. Perhaps the other threaders are better - I cannot speak to that. read more

I booked at Brow Haus and they were going to charge me $27, so I asked my friend who's a frequent thread-er and she said it should never be more than $7-10. I used to go to NYU and I went here with a friend for her to get her eyebrows done. The women are SO nice, funny, enjoyable, and according to my friend who is the frequent thread-er, they did "an incredible job!!!" I'm so happy because I have a wedding this weekend... yaya!!! Super efficient, cost effective, and talented (because shaping eyebrows IS a talent.) I never make an appointment, yet they are always available to see me when I walk in, even when it looks super busy. I walk by every day on my way to work so it's super convenient for me. I normally hate trying new places for my eyebrows. But I was too lazy to walk the 7 blocks to my regular place and gave Brow Zone a try. Glad I did! The place is kind of run down and dirty but my threader (Millie was her name I think) used hand sanitizer before working on my brows. She gave me a clean shape without any instruction from me and I'm very happy with the results. $7 for eyebrow threading but they don't offer a loyalty card. I have been going to Brow Zone for four years now to get my eyebrows threaded. You can't beat the price (I believe $7), and my eyebrows always look good, have a strong shape, and are never overdone. It is a no-frills type shop, but the women are very nice. They do walk- ins (I usually pop in before class), and they get you in and out of there quickly. The only small complaint I have is that some women are a bit tougher and for some reason their threading hurts a little more (not sure why - I don't know much about how to do the technique), but I've never had a bad experience here. All-around its a great, cheap place. They also have a rewards program, and after 12 check-ins on their ipad, you get a free threading. You will leave with your eyebrows on fleek. read more

So far I've been three times with three different people threading my brows, and each time I got exactly what I wanted. Plus seems to hurt a little less than some places I've been. I have naturally sparse brows so I made sure to tell them to keep them as thick as possible while still giving me a good arch, and I have not been disappointed. Price is excellent. $7 for brows and $5 for upper lip. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the cramped nature of the building and the fact that I've found a few small stray hairs that they've missed. read more

I was looking for a hair and make up artist for my wedding. My friend recommended me Dilshad. First I was a little bit concerned as I am a Russian bride and my friend is Indian (though she had absolutely beautiful make up at her wedding). Dilshad did a try out and then I came back for my wedding make up and for my reception make up (I had it on two diffent dates and one was in the morning, one in the evening). She and her assistant styled my hair and did my make up (along with 4 other ladies in my bridal party). Fast, professional, and most importantly soooo beautiful! We all loved it! And received so many compliments! She also did my eye brow and upper lip threading - very fast, virtually painless, very clean. Her assistant helped us with the dresses, and overall dispite the natural stress of the event we all felt very relaxed and really enjoyed it! I would recommend Dilshad not only as a eye brow professional, but as a make up and hairstylist. You are not be dissapointed! Some things are better left to the professionals. I could never shape my brows as neatly and expertly as they do here. I've only ever been a walk-in, and I've only waited once, for a few minutes; usually they can take me immediately. A few minutes and a handful of dollars later, I walk out with the best brows on the block. Fast and no frills. read more

Great location, fast and courteous service, but OUCH! The young woman who did my brows knew exactly what I wanted- a clean and defined arch without any thinning or compromising of my brow shape. She did the bottoms and the middle of my brows fairly quickly but it hurt a lot more than I am used to. A day later, I noticed tiny scabs on my skin where she had threaded a bit too rigorously.
