Came in here yesterday afternoon as I needed a little pick me up. I opted for the macchiato as 1. I was a first time customer and 2. I'm picky about my macchiato's as not every coffee shop makes them same (even the big names shops make them far too strong). Quite impressed on finally finding a shop that makes my macchiatos just right. Really helped in getting me back in gear and it was delicious. I didn't leave without buying a muffin also - equally good. The staff on hand was friendly, greeted upon entry and the man and woman were talkative with me, which made the visit worth the stop. Wow. Fantastic coffee, food, and vibe. I rode my bike here for breakfast this morning. No bike racks, but that wasn't a problem because they have plenty of room inside to roll it in and not be in the way. I had the vanilla, honey, & cinnamon latte and a croissant breakfast sandwich and both were better than anything I've had in a very long time! The coffee shop is very large, with lots of couches and cozy chairs, but also with plenty of tables where I could envision myself getting plenty of work done. When I was here, they were playing jazz tunes. It was otherwise quiet, so I will definitely come back to work from my laptop! Can't wait to come back for more yummy food and coffee, and to support this great local business! read more

This coffee shop is very warm welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy. They have nice couches to kick back and lounge but also have tables and chairs if you need to pop open your laptop and work on something. (Also have Wi-Fi available to customers) they offer a variety of drinks as far as coffee, lattes, smoothes and juices. I ordered an Acaí smoothie, it was fair priced and delicious! Water is infused with fruit. Owners are kind. A teenager from outside walked in and asked politely if he could use the wifi. Not a paying customer, most store owners would turn kids like this away but she happily agreed! As the teen was walking away she said "only good stuff right? no bad stuff, only good stuff!". I was on the search for a comfortable place to study for my mid-terms and this place received great reviews so I headed over there. I was greeted upon entrance which is a big deal when I enter an establishment. I sat down in the back and it was spacious, quiet and PERFECT. Outlets nearby (Starbucks drives me crazy with their lack of outlets at some of the smaller tables). I ordered the pesto avocado toast and my GOODNESS it was PERFECT!!!!! I ate it Friday and I'm still thinking about it and it's already Monday. The Americano was stronger than a Sumo wrestler which was exactly what I needed. I think the only thing I can say I would change about this place would be the hours, I wish they stayed open until 11pm haha. I'm going to come here more often and next time I'll bring my son. 100% recommend coming here is you need to study/homework. read more

I love how quaint this cafe is. The employee was very knowledgeable, and this is the perfect place to study! The atmosphere is cozy and it almost resembles an urban studio apartment with warm lighting and lots of cozy chairs. I've been here a few times and service has always been really good. I went there tonight hoping to get some tiramisu, but they didn't have any. The woman running it offered me a cake ball instead and I was hesitant, but agreed to try it. It was so good! She refused to charge me for it too. So of course I ordered a few to share with my roommate and his girlfriend. Then before I left she wanted me to have a few extra cake balls. This place is so so so good! We walked in and were greeted immediately by a sweet man that gave us menus asking if we wanted food, coffee, or both. I got the turkey and avocado panini and I added the chipotle spread from another panini. Avocado, turkey, tomatoes, provolone, and chipotle spread on sourdough. AMAZING. My wife got the build your breakfast croissant with bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant and she's barely put it down to breath. For drinks we got the iced latte with vanilla and it was PERFECT ratio of coffee to sweetener. My iced earls grey tea was fresh and light. We highly highly recommend this place. The ambience is a little old fashioned but if you're not feeling sloppy young adults on Sunday brunch with pumping music then please do come here for relaxation and good conversation. read more

I love this spot. I moved to Oceanside last summer and its one of 4 cafes thats walking distance from my place. The staff is always so friendly and its got plenty of seating and a section with tables and outlets for those who prefer studying/doing work in coffee shops. I'm also a fan of smoothies with mangoes in it so if I visit a place that sells some sort if smoothie with mango that'll be one of the first things i try besides their coffee.
