I came in the middle of the week for a haircut when it's quieter and it's just Crissel which I really liked. A lot of the salons I've been to in the past are very hectic with multiple people coming in and out. It was nice and peaceful to book a weekday cut. I usually do a boring trim but I trusted Crissel's judgement to cut some layers in my hair which it turned out so wonderful! Wash is included in the cut as well. She meticulously applied it and let it dry under a red light for 10 minutes while I relaxed and let it work its magic. She rushed through the laser procedure and she was looking back at the window behind her, for most of the session, making sure she didn't get a ticket. This session felt A LOT MORE PAINFUL than the first. My assumption was that maybe the skin was doing some extra work .. and the scar would be gone soon. Or at least a shade lighter. NOPE. BURNED MY SKIN. It's been about 8 months since my second visit. Not only do I still have the scar. It's darker AND on top of that I have the hyperpigmentation scar from the laser treatment.
