Your website clearly states the estimated length of each laser treatment (for example, full legs - 20 minutes, stomach line - 15 minutes), so I had certain expectations regarding the quality and thoroughness of the service. I arrived early for my appointment and was the only client in the waiting room. After waiting about five minutes, the technician brought me in on time. From the start, there was very little communication. She only asked the standard questions about retinol use, antibiotics, and similar medical information, but she never explained the treatment process or what to expect during the session. What concerned me most was the treatment itself. The technician did not mark or properly assess the treatment areas, and it felt like she was simply guessing rather than being precise. She didn't pause to check that every area had been treated evenly. When I asked her to lower the air pressure because I was uncomfortable, my request was ignored. This location is not the same since the previous technicians left. The level of professionalism and attention to detail has noticeably declined. There was no welcoming atmosphere, no effort to make me feel comfortable, and no sense of structure. What was especially frustrating is that there wasn't a single other client waiting, yet the technician still rushed through my appointment. The session was completed much faster than expected, and I honestly do not believe all of the treatment areas were covered properly. Laser hair removal should be performed carefully and methodically. The technician should be checking that every section is treated evenly rather than rushing through the appointment. As a paying customer, I expect a thorough treatment that matches the standards your company advertises. I left feeling like my appointment was rushed and that I did not receive the quality of care I paid for. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future clients receive the level of service they deserve

I've had laser on most of my body and now I only need to go every couple of months for maintenance since some areas do grow back due to hormones. They use Cynosure laser and this has been very effictive for my skin. Getting laser was the best investment since I really don't ever have to worry about shaving anymore. They always have different promotions available so the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you're interested in laser hair removal.

I could've done that weeks ago, and I would've just bought a 50% off package with the holiday deals and booked my first session if I didn't need to first come in for a 3 minute consult. The front desk staff was nice (though I have no clue what their names were because no one introduced themselves) and I was seen on time, so two stars for that, but three stars off for wasting my time. I've been preparing for weeks to begin laser treatments - no waxing, no sun, only shaving, etc., and now I'm unsure whether I should bother going back or find a different provider. UPDATE: Following my consultation, I received an email soliciting my feedback. I provided it and expressed that I had a poor experience during my consultation but remained interested in purchasing a package and working with a different specialist. No one acknowledged or responded. It now seems I'll be purchasing services elsewhere since Laser Spa doesn't care enough to earn my business with a simple response to an email. The location really is convenient and I prepared for many weeks for the treatments, so this is highly disappointing.

This lack of pressure is what, I'm sure, leads her to so many loyal clients. Her attitude and knowledge. Having been to one other location for laser hair removal I had a certain idea of what to expect when I came to Sunny. I was prepared for a quick pass with the technician and the treatment to be uncomfortable and sit around for an hour while my skin returned to a normal shade (my skin is hypersenstive and would be horrifically red for about an hour after treatment). What I found when I arrived was a very knowledeable technician who sat down and talked with me about the procedure, the type of laser she was doing, how permanent hair removal works and why you need more than a couple of sessions (even if after the first one it seems like it had already done the job). Yes, she was very clear on her cancellation policy and what the fee would be and how it affects her job when people cancel late or just don't show up. And I totally understood and agreed and appreciated her honesty and forthrightness on her feelings about this. Then she got down to work. I was braced for the bit of pain...and was flat out shocked at how painless the procedure was. It was a breeze (literally and figuratively) and although my skin was red after treatment, it was evened out after about 30 min. Huge improvement. The second time I came back, took only 10 min. I highly recommend Laserworks and Sunni personally. Who cares about getting a "spa" experience, spend the $ on the best laser you can buy and zap those suckers to oblivion :D Her prices are more reasonable than what I have seen elsewhere, her laser machine is top of the line and she is a gem of a gal. I have just started my treatments but I am sure to use her for any further hair removal I will need in the future. Thanks Sunni! read more

Laserworks is THE place to go if you are serious about getting rid of your hair. The technician, Sunny, is amazing and put me immediately at ease. I originally came because I purchased a coupon on Bloomspot, but after seeing the amazing results, I bought additional packages. Sunny uses a top of the line laser that is safe for darker skin, like mine. In the past, I'd been conned by spas offering "laser hair removal," who really used an IPL which is not an actual laser. I have brown skin and the IPL left what looked like cigarette burns on my skin. Laser hair removal requires repeat visits and you want to go to someone you feel comfortable with. Sunny makes me actually look forward to hair removal sessions, because she is so warm and friendly. Obviously, laser hair removal is an investment, so do your research in advance to make sure you are getting what you want. If a pretentious spa environment is really important to you, then Laserworks is not going to be the place to go, since it is solely a laser hair removal center. However, if you really want to get rid of your hair, look no further. Sunny knows her service is effective and doesn't need to attract clients with fluffy robes and free coffee. I wish I had known that IPLs were not real lasers before I bought a package at a spa and endured several painful, ineffective sessions. Sunny's treatments are safer, less painful, and MUCH more effective. At the end of the day, I'm a lot happier knowing that I'm actually getting rid of my hair. I have a lot of trouble imagining a better place to go. read more

Laserworks is an efficiently operated one-woman shop (hence the cancellation policy which every place has so I don't understand the gripe and btw, the penalty is not an exorbitant amount and certainly not more than the treatment itself - let's keep our reviews honest). If you want a faux fancy salon and faux pleasant people to make you feel special and try to sell you bling for your VJJ while they charge you significantly more, it's not the place for you. If you want excellent results at an affordable price from an honest and pleasant aesthetician (and still walk out feeling special!) then go to Sunny. I could not be happier with the service and the results. Yes, it's true, this is maybe only the third review I've posted and no, I have not been "planted" Some people do not feel compelled to post a review on every experience they've had (who has the time?). I will post a review when I feel strongly about an experience either good or bad. In summary, If you want quick, painless, affordable and effective hair removal, give Sunny a try - I think you will be very pleased. read more

I originally bought a package through Groupon which introduced me to Sunny's services. I have been so happy with the results, that I am now going on for treatment in another area. Sunny is very pleasant to deal with and her personality shines on through. Yes, there is a cancellation policy and she reminds you of it, BUT it seems fair to me (48 hour notice) and it has yet to come up as an issue as I have kept ALL of my appointments so far. The treatments themselves are pain free, quick and pretty easy on the patent end of things. There is not much we need to do other than be clean, stay out of the sun and no plucking! Now when I visit, I'm in and out of the office so quick, it takes me longer to get there and back than actually to get stuff taken care of. I have never had to wait to be seen for my appointments, my initial appointment was made for the day after I called to inquire about her services (so no long waiting periods to get things started!) and she is able to schedule follow ups with GREAT flexibility. Start enjoying the new, less hairy version of yourself! read more

Sunni is wonderful. I am very pleased with the progress I have made to date and highly recommend Laserworks to anyone. I received a few treatments from different places in the past and was never satisfied with the services or end results. After discovering Laserworks and meeting Sunni, I learned why I never reached my desired results prior. I can't stress enough how important it is to educate yourself about this procedure and find a licensed technician who really wants to help you get the results you want - Sunni provides both. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Once you begin your treatments (and see them through) with Sunni, I promise you will get those permanent results you hope for. If you're like me and tried this procedure when it was introduced (approx 8 yrs ago), it might have been a painful experience resulting with very mixed emotions and a few possible scars....this is NOT the case with Laserworks! The laser is painless, it feels like cold air blowing against your skin and Sunni checks on your comfort level at all times. read more

I finally found a place with a laser that works! Sunny, the owner, is great and makes the experience very pleasant. I have tried other laser places through groupon and they were extremely painful and made you put on a sloppy gel. Laserworks uses an extremely high tech laser with cold air coming out which makes it so painless. Other places used a laser that was extremely uncomfortable and I would have to take painkillers before but with Laserworks this is not necessary. I bought a package with Sunny for laser hair removal on full legs. After the first session I saw amazing results - permanent hair removal. I have been recommending this place to all my friends and coworkers. Sunny is always ready at the time of the appointment and never cancels which I experienced at other salons. If you want results go here! The prices are very reasonable (I compared to other salons in the area). Great location and will definitely continue going to this salon to laser other areas! read more

A friend recommended me to go to Laserworks and I am extremely satisfied and happy to have listened to my friend's advise! I bought two packages, one for underarms and one for bikini. I was a bit scared & nervous the first time i went there but Sunny is very friendly and professional on the same time. She explained in detail about the laser treatments and was available to respond to all my questions. She put me at ease, I felt very comfortable with her since the first beginning. The laser machine is a great one, it's a cold air laser so it's less painful than others. I always go after work, but my friend who works close to her, goes even at lunch break cause there is no wait. She is quick and punctual with the appointments time. And also you can call or text her and she gets back to you right away. I am so excited about the results for the treatments that I am recommending this place to everybody! read more

I bought a Groupon and am so glad Laserworks was my first experience. I've never done laser before and I was not sure what to expect but I went to get my chin done with my wedding coming up. Sunny is quick and professional; and like everyone says on the reviews, the machine is relatively painless (it stings just a little but Sunny is patient and careful). This is the last of my 6 sessions and I see results. Yes, it does take a few more sessions for it completely go away (as far as I can tell) but I am happy with the results I've been getting. I wish I had done this sooner. The best thing about Laserworks is that it's meant to be a quick in and out visit, not an over the top, pretentious spa. One last thing-Sunny works super hard so you can pretty much get an appointment morning, lunch, evening, and weekends. If this is your first experience or a continuing one, I highly recommend Sunny! read more

I first went to Laserworks when I purchased a special offer from Groupon. I was so impressed with my first 3 mini treatments that I purchases several packages and have never been more happy. The results begin to show immediately after your first few successive visits. Sunni, the technician, is amazing, warm and friendly. She wants to make sure you are comfortable, well informed about each package and appropriately prepped before your treatments. This is a very reputable and effective service which I highly recommend to anyone with unwanted hair growth. Its not a spa but hey - we have the rest of our lives to be pampered WITHOUT EVER stepping into another waxing room! I am ecstatic .. no more shaving and 5 minute showers! This has to be the best laser hair removal place in Manhattan! I feel so lucky Sunny and Laserworks came into my life through Bloomspot. I can't imagine spending another dollar on crazy spas and other places that I've tried in the past and just don't work. After starting a few sessions I see major improvement and it's truly amazing how confident I feel. I can't wait to have no hair on my face and I know I can trust this place for results. The cool air technology is totally painless, I hardly know what's going on until I smell burned hair (gross but true!) Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. I've tried other places in the area and I just think their machines are old and use the pulsing light technology that just doesn't seem to be as effective as the laser they use here. I can't rave enough! read more

Quick painless treatments with cold laser, I purchased initially through groupon and then bought package to continue treatment and also for another area since I was happy with results. Never tried laser treatment before but was glad I chose this place since Sonny, who performs the procedure is very down to earth and helpful, prompt, and gets you in and out in no time to get back to work etc. I also appreiciate that the office is not a fancy spa atmosphere but that is fine with me because I come for the treatment I don't need to pay for setting and mood, I just want results! I am almost done with my treatments and it is such a relief to not have to worry about shaving all the time and razor burn! I've bought some Groupons laser hair removal at different locations over the last year, and Laserworks is the best that I've experienced. Sunni is great- she's straight forward and professional. And she's very sweet too. I saw immediate results from her laser. I've been to other places and it's taken a few procedures in order to see any improvement. But at Laserworks, my hair stopped growing after the first treatment. I had bought a Groupon for 3 treatments of a small area, and I plan on continuing my treatments for the total of 6 needed for the area to be free of hair permanently. Today I completed my 3rd session. I bought a package through Relish to try out the laser just for my chin. For the past 8+ years, on and off, I have been getting my lip and chin "lasered", but I did not know the difference between an actual laser and an IPL. I always ended up getting enough regrowth that I would need to eventually spend money on waxing also. I'm extremely happy with the results of a real laser. Sunni is patient and takes the time to explain what will happen. The procedure is painless, it feels like a cold compress. I highly recommend LaserWorks and will be purchasing another package for my lip. read more

Regarding the treatment, I also undergo the HydraFacial and laser hair removal treatment, which effectively removes dead spots, deeply cleanses my skin, and significantly enhances its hydration. The results were remarkable, and I have recognized a noticeable improvement in my skin's appearance that gives me youthful-looking skin. The time and effort were all worth it.

Not going to lie--I was a little worried about a storefront medical center because you read some…read morehorror stories. However, I checked out Dr. Yee's credentials and went in for a consultation. He was very professional and personable and his receptionist was lovely. I have been plagued with spider veins since puberty and, while I like my dermatologist a lot, she's in Manhattan and going to her just takes a long time. I got sclerotherapy with Dr. Yee and was pleased with the results. He was very careful and thorough. I would definitely recommend Re-nu! They are also open Saturdays, which is very convenient.

Recently I had significant hair loss possibly from Covid??? I took a chance and had Dr Yee do a PRP treatment. Much to my surprise the I saw results within 2 weeks and I continue to see improvements. The price was significantly lower than estimated and the results went beyond my expectations. I felt secure knowing a Board Certified Dermatologist was performing the procedure(as with all procedures performed under Dr Yee). Going back soon for my 2nd

I have had several visits and my experience has been fantastic. At FABRX studio I received Botox, Softwave laser treatment, and MORPHEUS8 RF MICRONEEDLING. The space itself is beautiful, but what truly sets this studio apart is the exceptional staff and nurse practitioner, Michelle. I have had treatments at various plastic surgery offices in the past, but FABRX is now at the top of my list. Michelle makes sure the treatments are as comfortable as possible and works around the clients needs and pain threshold... which worked really well for me. I particularly recommend the Morpheus8 treatment. After just one of my three sessions, I noticed a significant improvement in the texture of my skin. My pores have visibly diminished, which I never thought possible, and my overall skin texture looks brighter and fresher. I'm sure the Softwave also is factored into my overall satisfaction. Bottom line... I'm beyond pleased with the results and cannot wait to see the final outcome when I finish the series. I highly recommend FABRX studio for anyone looking for top-notch treatments and exceptional care. Thank you Michelle for your expertise and patience. I am so happy to have found you... I will be a patient for life.

I didn't find out till after work while I was rushing to get there. then every time I call to make a new appointment, NO ONE EVER PICKS UP!! how is it that you cancel on me, then never call me back to reschedule and every time I call (during their work hours) No one is available to pick up the phone. Completely unprofessional. If someone has an appointment at least call a day in advance to reschedule your client. This review is with regards to cleanliness and professionalism…read more I arrived to my appointment a little early, and Mindy was still with a client. The space is just an open room with sheer curtains, so I could see the beauty bed, as well as the client. Once the appointment finished, Mindy asked me to lay on the bed. Immediately, I felt uncomfortable. The linen was not changed, nor the towel the previous client was laying on for who knows how long. Mindy also did not wash her hands. I asked Mindy if she wouldn't mind first washing her hands before treating me. In response, she put some purell on - which is not the same as washing her hands. I then asked her again if she wouldn't mind just washing her hands. She said someone else was in the bathroom, and that she would do so after. I also asked her (not in any rude way), if she would please at least change the towel the previous client's head was on. In response, she flipped the towel over. I asked her again to change it. (I mean c'mon!!!) Her response was, "But I flipped it over." That's just so grimy. So I said, "I am just going to cancel. I am uncomfortable." I have never in my life been made to feel so uncomfortable in an environment that should feel clean, especially when someone is supposed to touch your face for an hour. I found her behavior, responses, as well as her attire (tight fitting very short overalls), to be extremely unprofessional.
