During one visit, my treatment felt rushed and incomplete, and my concerns afterward were not handled well. The most disappointing experience occurred when my appointment was canceled. I received only a phone call the afternoon before my appointment while I was driving with my children, and I genuinely believed it was a confirmation call. I never received an email or text message notifying me that my appointment had been canceled. I had completed all the required preparation and arrived, only to be told it had been canceled. I remained polite and simply asked to be accommodated at another location before leaving for vacation. Instead, I was later informed that I was permanently banned from all LaserAway locations. Despite explaining that this was an honest misunderstanding and asking them to review the call, I was dismissed without any effort to resolve the situation. I spent thousands of dollars on a treatment package that I was unable to complete, making much of my investment ineffective. Absolutely nothing for over three weeks, and they would not respond to calls, emails or chats. Finally they refund me $400 less than what they *explicitly* told me, without an explanation (I rejected the first amount they mentioned as an unsuitable solution). Absolutely a scam. By the way, this is not me, but clearly shows a sustained pattern on cancellations and lack of response. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Every single laseraway employee I've ever met has told me they are looking for a new job and hate working there and clearly it's managers like yona driving away good employees and customers. She rushed through the laser procedure and she was looking back at the window behind her, for most of the session, making sure she didn't get a ticket. This session felt A LOT MORE PAINFUL than the first. My assumption was that maybe the skin was doing some extra work .. and the scar would be gone soon. Or at least a shade lighter. NOPE. BURNED MY SKIN. It's been about 8 months since my second visit. Not only do I still have the scar. It's darker AND on top of that I have the hyperpigmentation scar from the laser treatment. What ChatGPT doesn't realize is that they have not reaponded to any of my communication except for this review. And, stating the obvious, they didn't provide alternatives.
