I could not recommend Jackie more highly. She is kind and patient, and she often gives me recommendations for my skin that have seen amazing results. My partner and I both bought a package for laser hair removal, and she let us book our appointment together. I have seen tremendous improvements in my skin and with the treatment. First of all, I am Hispanic so I have slightly darker skin. Jackie uses the correct laser for my skin pigmentation. Make sure that whoever you go to is using the right laser for your skin! I am removing the hair from my entire body. It barely hurts! The worst part is the armpits, but Jackie is so delicate and gentle that I never mind the pain, and I'm a crybaby. The entire session takes less than an hour, and it happens every four to six weeks for six sessions. Jackie letting my partner and I book an appointment together made us so much more comfortable, but we don't even need the support because Jackie is so much fun to hang out with. The session always flies by. The office is very private. Jackie is the only person who works there, and the session takes place in a large room with an operating table that is adjacent to her desk. There's no risk of someone barging in on you! Jackie's skin recommendations are fantastic. She diagnosed me with keratosis pilaris and told me which skin products to use to make it go away, and it did! It had nothing to do with the laser hair removal, but she is generous with her advice, and my skin has never looked better. Overall, I could not be happier with the service I've received. I intend to come back to Jackie as long as I am able. If you're looking for someone to truly take care of your skin, you have to use JE Aesthetics. read more

Do not question going to Jackie, JUST GO! My whole family ages ranging from 20 to 56 have been seeing Jackie for the past 5 years. We all have different needs and Jackie addresses each one of us individually with 20 years experience and outstanding customer service. We have had Jackie Address everything from acne scars, hair removal to wrinkles. I also love that Jackie does not sell products in her office and she knows the key ingredients and recommends a less expensive drug store brand that does the same job without all the mark up. I get compliments on a regular basis on my skin... I know that Jackie is my secret weapon. Her office is convienent, cozy without all the frills of a typical UES salon, the price is passed on to you as a client. I LIKE that!! read more

Went for a microneedling treatment. Expert care, clean facility, great results. I will be back

I've been going to see Jackie for over 10 years and I'd say she is the best Esthetician in New York City! Actually, I've lived in other states and never found an esthetician who could compare to Jackie. I call her my face angel :) She has performed lasers and peels and always knows exactly what my skin needs to look it's best. Her product knowledge and how she watches your skin response during the sessions are over and above what other estheticians I have gone to were able to do. If you want the best; if you want your skin to improve; if you are tired of going to esthetician's who don't make a difference, you need to schedule an appointment with Jackie. read more

I've been going to Jackie for two years now and I couldn't be happier with my results! People generally think I'm way younger than I actually am because she keeps my skin so beautiful. She knows what she's doing! Go see her. You won't be sorry! read more

This is a total scam. Jackie is friendly, however, no amount of friendliness can make up for the fact that she is arguably stealing money from anyone who goes to her. I paid upfront for 6 laser hair removal sessions in May. I received two, the last one being in July. Scheduling my first two appointments was tricky, as she contacted me the morning of the appointments to reschedule which I thought was flaky/sketchy. Since then, she has canceled every single one of my appointments and has altogether stopped responding to my texts. Even if she magically responded today to schedule a session, I am so unbelievably creeped out and disgusted that I would NEVER step foot in her apartment (where she's operating her business location in Hoboken, FYI) ever again. I most recently asked that she refund me for the sessions I am clearly unable to use. She has responded to me yet and I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau this morning. Do yourself a favor and spend more money somewhere else, because this headache is not worth it at all. read more

I can't speak to her level of expertise because we did not get that far. But customer service is a strong F. I was so excited to make an appointment with her after purchasing a Groupon. Here are my detailed attempts to make an appointment: Via email: I emailed to ask about available times, she did write back quickly with her hours, but when I responded to inquire about a specific appointment time I never heard back. Via phone: I reached out to schedule on 3/13, no response. Left voicemail on 3/15, no response. Texted and called again on 3/19, she wrote back the same day asking if I can come in tomorrow and saying she is a "one woman show and sometimes appts slip through the cracks." I wrote back immediately saying I could do Wed or Friday. She wrote back the next morning saying she was closed Wed because of the storm. I wrote back shortly after proposing different appointment times, no response. 3/23: followed up again and let her know I'm making my schedule. Left a voicemail asking her to let me know if she is even taking clients. Still no response on 3/26. This should go without saying, but it should not be this difficult to make an appointment somewhere. In her words "sometimes appts slip through the cracks," so unless you have the time and energy to chase after an appointment, go elsewhere. If you have a Groupon and she doesn't get back to you, you will also have to spend time communicating with them to get a refund. read more

JE Aesthetics is fabulous! Beyond the great services and state of the art equipment, there is Jackie. She is knowIedgeable, professional and caring. Before going to her I did my research and found out she is not only a licensed and certified professional in plastic, dermatology and cosmetic industry, she is also a licensed paramedical aesthetician, certified laser technician and instructor, certified micro pigmentation technician. Her experience and detailed knowledge from services I have received and continue to receive; including spider vein laser therapy, rejuvenation, chemical peel, COOLTOUCH laser results have been and continue to be excellent. I highly recommend JE Aesthetics and Jackie. read more

Jackie is the best. I discovered her through GroupOn a few weeks ago and she has been a pleasure to work with. She first invited me to come in for a consultation to look at my skin and suggest what's best for me. She gave me some product recommendations in order to prepare for our first actual session. I already feel my skin rejuvenated and I can't wait to see how it's going to look a few months from now. I have had acne scars for a long time that have been messing with my confidence and don't allow me to go outside without a bit of make up. I am confident that Jackie has already boosted that confidence and I will be able to freely allow my skin to stay make up free more often! Thanks Jackie! read more

Jackie is the absolute best, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my skin but her. I found her off Groupon over a year ago and I never plan to stop going. She makes you feel so comfortable and at home in her office. She takes the time to explain everything she is doing and answers all questions. She truly cares about all her clients and helps you personalize a skin care regime that works for your skin type. Jackie goes above and beyond and If I ever have questions she answers texts about products and skin concerns. I would recommend Jackie to people of all ages and skin types, she can work miracles and keep skin looking fresh and young. read more

Jackie is AWESOME! She is my personal guide to address self-concerning areas with the convenience and comfort of consulting a knowledgeable friend that cares about my face and body as much as I do. I've been with her for a few years and she's patient, kind, EXPERIENCED and sensitive to my wants and needs while convenient on my budget and schedule. The process is a commitment, that you have to patiently allow your body to evolve and adjust into the masterpiece you desire. I've have been addressing multiple LARGE areas with coarse, dense hair-I'm a guy that doesn't want to shave, EVER again! I'm almost there!! In two years, my self-confidence has soared with Jackie's guidance and treatments. Jackie is a ROCK STAR and I trust her infinitely. If you want a great consultant to advise you on what's possible and your wishes, she's your personal expert!!! read more

Today was my first day visiting Jackie and as soon she opened her door, I knew it was meant to be. She is the sweetest and most patient woman that I have ever been to for laser. I had told her that I had been to two laser centers prior and nothing tops this. Today was my 1/6 treatment with Jackie and I'm excited to see how the next 5 are gonna go. I already felt so comfortable being at JE Aesthetics within a few minutes. Which has not happened at the other places that I have been to! Looking forward to seeing better results and a returning customer. read more

I have been going to Jackie for quite some time now. Jackie is very personable and makes you feel comfortable within the first few minutes of meeting her. She provides a multitude of services with excellent pricing. She really takes the time to examine your areas and gives suggestions as to what is best to meet your needs and achieve the outcome that you want. She has done laser hair removal, permanent makeup for my eyebrows, peels, vein removal and different laser treatments for my sun damaged skin and signs of aging. I was bouncing around to different places. I just didn't find a match that was best for me until I met Jackie. If you are looking for someone to assist with any treatments, I highly recommend Jackie. read more

Jackie is amazing. She was recommended to me by a friend. I am conservative about any kind of treatments, but Jackie made me feel comfortable. She is definitely an expert in her field. I highly recommend her. read more

Jackie is amazing! I have been seeing her for 4 years and my skin has never looked better. I have done laser hair removal, laser genesis and peels. She even lightened a dark scar line on my arm for my wedding and it completely disappeared. I never get break outs and my skin looks healthy even through winter! Highly recommend. read more

I received 6 sessions for a large area as a gift for Christmas. I live nearby so I was thrilled to get this. I have plans to move out of NY at the end of the summer so I was on a time crunch to use the 6 sessions. I immediately reached out to Jackie at the beginning of Jan. and she told me she didn't have anything available until she returned from her vacation which was a little less than a month from when we spoke. I understood as it was just after the Holiday's and set a reminder to reach out to her again when she got back. A month later, I called her and she didn't answer so I left a voicemail. I didn't hear back so I texted her (because in her voicemail it says that you can text her). I didn't hear back. I called a couple more times and sent a couple more texts over the course of two weeks and she NEVER answered me. The best part was that her READ receipts were on! I could see that she was reading my texts and choosing not to answer me. I am blown away by how this woman runs her business. So unprofessional! Do not give this business your money! Complete waste of time and energy. read more

I found Jackie a few years ago from Groupon and I'm so happy I did! We started off doing laser hair removal, but Jackie quickly turned into my skin guru. I have extremely sensitive skin and I'm nervous about face treatments. Jackie helped me overcome my anxiety (she's soooo easy to talk to!) and we moved very slowly with facial treatments. They have been great! She's also directed me to skin products my face can tolerate--a very difficult feat! I'm really lucky to have found Jackie and highly recommend her. read more
