I have been here multiple times and always leave satisfied! I do brow threading and only have great things to say about it. The pricing is so amazing and the service is quick and efficient. Avoid this place like the plague. They don't care about your brows and making them nice. Went in, the lady spent 2 minutes butchering my brows, all while she was on the phone. They are now choppy, uneven and paper thin. This is worst brows I have ever had. I just spent $80 in Sephora to invent in brow serums and eyebrow pens. Gone are the days of paying $25 for a brow wax. For $12 I got my brows threaded for the first time in a long time. Yes it stings just as I remember, but hey sometimes that's the price you pay for beauty. The space is pretty big with about 6 stations, but only two women were working the day I went. Something tells me that's the norm. Fortunately the wait wasn't long. Rather than use a sign-up sheet to keep track of who's next they just rely on memory (better them than me, b/c my memory is shot!). Although the woman servicing me, didn't initiate any type of consultation regarding what exactly I wanted done to my brows (related to shape), she was very attentive as I explained the look I was going for. I also appreciate that once she was done and I gave her feedback on things I wanted tweaked, she did it without giving attitude. I recall days of the past when the "threader" would huff and puff or roll eyes...I mean seriously they're my brows and I'm paying so save the drama. I appreciate that The Brow Art 23 theradists (is that what they are called?) are fast and efficient. Being in Southdale mall is convenient for most, but I am not a mall shopper, so if they were to move their location to a shopping plaza, I would be ecstatic. I have been coming here for over 6 months, a different person each time and I have never been disappointed. When I give instructions to clean my eyebrows, they do just that! Never too thin and always even with a natural-looking shape. Also,their prices are the cheapest that I have found in the Twin Cities; $12 for eyebrow threading. Not the cheapest I have ever had but I won't compare to other metro cities. read more

Finally! A nearby threading spot with an actual storefront! I had no shame in getting my eyebrows did in front of the whole mall at the brow studio 7 kiosk, but I totally understand why ppl get anxiety about hair removal with no privacy (especially dudes - wink wink) Brow Art 23 delivered on fixing my hairy caterpillars when I had a mishap at the old kiosk by an amateur (boo) I waited about 20 minutes with 2 ppl in front of me but didn't mind since they have an actual waiting area. Beats lurking around h&m waiting for my turn at the old kiosk! I told the woman I like my brows natural, and she did a great job of keeping them thick and juicy like I like em. At $12 you can't go wrong. One issue I did have is she used a tweezer to get the little hairs, and pros know how to get everythang with the thread. One star off because they need a proper check in process. People would come and go waiting for their turn and there is no clear way of knowing who's next in line. I feel mixed about this place. I love the threading but witnessed an unfortunate interaction while I was there. When it is busy, there seems to be an inconsistent or unclear approach to how to keep track of the order of people in line. Do customers have to be present the whole time to be considered in line or not? Please publicize this through a sign or consistent messages from staff. A customer appeared to be told one thing by one staff member and something different by another. She was really unhappy (probably won't come back) and there was no empathy for her situation. Maybe have people write their names on a list too. read more

This is very convenient in a hurry and a decent price to get eyebrows threaded. Of course you can get eyebrows threaded at half the price if you're willing to go to a beautician's home. However $12 is far cheaper than waxing for $25. I have been here a few times and been satisfied with their work. Threading is a little painful but that's only while threading - there is no sting or burn once the work is done. If there's a wait, it isn't long. read more

This place is supposed to close at 9pm, I got here at 8:20pm and there's a sign that says they will be back soon. It is now past 8:45pm and nobody is back. Normally I wouldn't actually wait, but considering the fact fridays, Saturday's and sundays are extremely packed I didn't want to have to wait 45+ minutes. I highly recommend the eyebrow threading place at ridgedale center, I don't know the name, but their service is great and I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes on a Saturday!!! read more

Most unprofessional shop in Southdale. Have u ever seen a shop/salon say No to service during BUSINESS HOURS since they are taking a BREAK and that too on a Saturday at 2pm ?? It has happened with me 3 times now... Other 2 times were around 45 mins before closing time, so I thought its fine since they have to cleanup etc.( Although they should be fully open during business hours and cleanup should happen after closing time) but this time it was during full fledged business hours. There were 2 people, so one can still serve the customers if they want but customer service is definitely not one of their main motives clearly! read more

I really liked going here and getting my eyebrows done. But recently, I see a new person every time I go in. I had one bag experience with the new lady, who messed up the shape of one of my eyebrows. The regular threader was back after about a month, and she fixed it. And the previous reviewers are not making up their comments about random lunch hours. I have been there way after lunch hour, and the door is half way closed and they are on their "lunch break ". I understand you need a lunch break, but please designate a lunch hour so your customers know when to show up to get any work done. read more

I'm typically happy with the results and come here often. However, every time I come on the weekend, there is only 1 person working and a line of people waiting. Get 2 people to work on the weekends! Until then, I'm going to start looking for another place. read more

I can NOT return to this place. Went yesterday and today to get my brows done. Both days the gate was halfway up. Yesterday the lady said "5 minutes". I went to a shoe store and bought some stuff, way more than 5 minutes. Came back gate still down. I was on my way to work so I left. Today was the same thing except the lady said "she was on lunch break". I left as I was on my way to work. This was around 2pm on both days. They do good work when you can get in. I've been when they have been busy and slow. I think it's ridiculous that they close during normal business hours. I will go back to my old threader where I know I can get in when I show up. I understand everyone needs to eat lunch but they should have another person to take care of the people that show up during their lunch time OR have a sign posting the hours they close for "lunch". read more

Stopped by with my wife on a regular Saturday afternoon. We went to check in and the employee rudely told us to go sit and wait, didn't even check us in. We waited 40 minutes while she ignored us. Then a group of ladies without reservations arrived. One of them hopped in the chair, budging us. The employee started working on her brows. We walked out, disgusted by the rude (lack of) service.
