The first two times I've gone, my nails were OK. But these last couple times service sucked. When you call and make an appointment it seems like they're rushing you off the phone or rushing you, as I'm telling the young lady how I want my nail shaped, she was very aggressive attitude. It seemed like not approachable and didn't seem friendly at all. The young lady that did my pedicure seemed sweet, but it's like she rushed and did my pedicure so fast that I didn't even realize anything was even done. No scrub, no cuticle cutting no nothing like my thing is if you're getting a pedicure, the services that you guys are implementing into the exact type of pedicure that people get like give them their moneys worth. And the crazy thing is I over tipped every time. I won't be going back to this nail salon. I'm trying to find a nail salon out here in Minnesota it's been extremely hard. Don't bother making an appointment; they will accept all walk ins regardless of those who schedule ahead of time it seems. I think I've waited 30+ mins to be started after my scheduled appointment time every time. Just left without my service after waiting 30 mins past my appointment time and was told it would be at least another 10. read more

Clean nail place with ample staff and stations. I booked a dip manicure here for 3 o'clock. Upon arrival check-in was super simple through an iPad. However I did it still wait over 20 minutes to get my nails done. I paid about 60 for a natural dip manicure with a dip take off. I personally feel that charging for a dip takeoff is a scam because you can't get the dip on over your nail. Although the manicure turned out well I was disappointed by the thickness in the amount of time I had to wait as a booking client. I've been coming to this nail salon for over a year and the quality of work and customer service has been declining steadily over the last several months. I went in on Monday 10/30 for a fill, and on Wednesday 11/1 one of my nails broke and the polish on the others began chipping/peeling. I returned today, Friday 11/3 to get my broken nail fixed and the others re-painted. The nail tech that did my nails was clearly in a rush and not personable at all. She made me feel like the poor quality of my nails was MY fault and even said "you chipped too many nails so I have to charge you extra". I don't care about paying for the services that I am being provided, but I find it odd that I should have to pay for poor quality nails TWICE. I really want to like this salon again, but the repeat poor service is a non-negotiable for me. Getting my nails done is a treat and I like to trust that if I spend my time and money with an establishment that it will be an enjoyable experience. I will definitely find another nail salon that appreciates my patronage and provides higher quality services & results. This is the first time I found someone who was not only detailed oriented but came up with a specific nail (dip French tip) that met all my satisfaction. Not sure why the rating is subpar here on yelp. This is my go to nail place in MN so far. The place is clean, ambience is inviting, and the salon is spacious. The staff is communicative, attentive, and professional. I've gotten numerous services here at Lush Nails including gel acrylic, dip acrylics, regular gel polish, and dip tip. I have been satisfied and impressed with my manicures every single time. I am quite particular on how the finished product should look and each time this establishment has delivered my desired results. The prices here are not the most cheap but you get what you pay for because the outcome will always be outstanding- I still think the rates are fair compared to the competitors in the area. I've had different nail techs every single time and each one of them are professionals and give great results- some are more gentle than others but every single staff knows what they're doing. Overall this is a nice nail shop. It's cute and pretty average in far or cleanliness. I appreciate the mask requirement and Covid precautions they use. I received a deluxe gel pedicure and a gel manicure. The prices are decent, it's expensive but still a bit less than some other shops I've been to. All the staff seem to do really nice work. I was pleased with my services and the time spent to do them. Nothing was rushed but also not too slow. They have nice massage chairs for the pedis. I took a star off mostly because the staff really socializes a lot while they work on clients. It did not seem to deter their work, but it's just not super professional. Also, my manicurist was finishing up eating something and popped it in her mouth, put her mask back up, then proceeded to do my nails. She was not wearing gloves and did not sanitize. Her hands didn't touch her mouth or anything and she was super nice, but just found that a bit off putting at the start and again, pretty unprofessional. You have the option to pay with Venmo or Cash App if you like. They accept tips through those or cash. Checkout was pretty easy and I don't feel like I overpaid. I think I would go back to the shop even still. It's really hard to find a shop that ticks all the boxes, but this one is pretty decent. read more

I had high hopes for this shop as their reviews are usually of high standing. However, they are very unprofessional and only advertise the skills of ONE nail technician; who is an absolute sweetheart. However, the manager is rude when confronted about the following. You will not be seated immediately when you make an appointment. They will take walk-ins over you. If you make an appointment (even days in advance) and they want to leave early, they will rush your pedicures, manicures and nails. It will show. They will ask you to do simpler designs or rush the ones you are doing. These are designs that come off their Instagram!!! This is after they took walk-ins before you. If they can't do what you ask because the technician who can do it is busy, they don't tell you beforehand. They tell you in the middle of it and will still make you pay full price or tell you to wait 30+ minutes for the other technician. There are still people waiting in front of and behind you. Also, the chemicals they use for acrylics burns and smells awfully sweet; which is an indication that they use MMA. An illegal and harmful substance. I tried speaking nicely with them about the situation but was met with that it was their business to run as they please. Truly an uncomfortable situation. I wanted to love this salon but I got a full acrylic set for about $80 (not including tip) and I loved them at first but the polish began to have a matte look a couple days after and looked dirty. A few of my nails also started to lift after just a few days and the nails themself were pretty thick to begin with. I am an acrylic girl and 9/10 they will give me a super cute set. I've recently started doing designs with them and for the most part they come out real cute! Just like any other salon, how well the nails come out depends on who you get but I will say that even the less well done jobs were still cute. When I was getting my service she was telling me how they were new and opened RIGHT before all the covid stuff happened which is so sad :( ANYWAY on to the service, Kim did my nails (long acrylic coffin full set) and Tam did my pedicure. Both of them were amazing and everyone else seemed great as well!!!! I have gone to lush nails 3 times now. 2/3 experiences have been awesome (hence the 4 stars), but today was not so good. I like the way my nails turned out, but I had to jump through a LOT of hoops to get them how I wanted them, and I still have some issues. First, they didn't have the black marble I wanted, so I had to find a different design for that. Every time I've come here, they don't have the color I ask for. To those in charge of stocking, please restock! You almost never have what your display says you have! Today, I had a tech who's name I think was kim, if the name on the UV cure lamp is accurate, but when I tipped on Venmo, the name was Truc, which might also be her name, I'm really not sure. I asked her what her name was as well and my memory failed me in regards to what she said, so I'm so sorry if I got the name wrong! When she was shaping my nails, she made my pointer finger on one hand quite a bit shorter than the rest, and the same with my middle finger on my other hand. She insisted that she made them the same length, but that was not true. I asked her to shorten the rest, which she did, and it fixed the problem. However, the tip on the designed finger on my right hand is pretty slanted, which I only noticed after I left. I also asked for a blue-to-pink ombré with gold flakes, and the tech gave me something more of a marble-ish blue and white pattern, which looks great, but was not what I asked for. I didn't want to make her redo it, and it looked good enough, but the problem is that I asked for something that was on the display and got something pretty different. Pictured are the three sets that I've gotten at lush. The first one (green and white acrylics over a neutral base) was done by someone who's name is (I think) Emy. The second (green gel powder with clear powder and flowers) was (I think) Claire. The third (brown gel polish over green powder with blue marble powder) was (I think) Kim. ~ Again, so sorry if those are the wrong names!! You are lovely girls and I don't want to leave a bad impression! ~ I was quite happy with how all of them turned out, with the exception of the bad experience I had today, and the slanted tip in the third set. Overall, I like lush nails a lot. I've had some good experiences with them, but today was not so good. To the folks at lush nails, you are very kind and welcoming, so thank you! I just ask that you restock what's missing from the displays. As for me, I will ask specifically for someone I trust there. Thank you for your time! read more

They basically go from your nails to the next person which is so disrespectful to me when I made an appointment! I have places to be as well . I actually like this salon and also was amazed with their work. But when you have a client in, you stay consistent with them you don't just decide to go help someone else with a full set and then send someone else to finish your job so they have no idea what you even asked for by the time they try to man handle you to do your nails then start talking shit in a different language. Like it's your fault the lady you had walked off smh they all have attitudes when your really asking in a nice way. Great place. Not only do they really just do an overall amazing job, but you get a free little gift if it's your first time. I had really chewed my nails and they were suuuper thin and in pain so I was nervous to get a set on (because of the grinder thing). I told her that and she was extra careful and gave me tips on how to avoid damaging them and taking care of them on my own. Little spendy but worth it 100%. The salon is chic and clean as well. My best friend and I went in for a full set. The lady that did my toes kept touching her phone and a texting someone. Then she left in the middle of my pedicure to give someone in her family money. She came back with the same glove and tried to touch me with them. I told her to change her gloves which pissed her off. My best friends nails started to fall off two days later. My nails started to chip a week later. I finally went to my regular nail person to get my nails redone. It took my 20 experienced nail tech 2 hours to get my nails off and when she finally did she realized that whatever chemical Lush Nails had in their acrylic liquid went into my real nails and damaged them. read more

This is my go to nail salon! I do agree sometimes you can wait too long even with an appt but if you are a regular I feel like that changes. I have been satisfied with how they look and how long they last 95% of the time. It is the cleanest salon I have ever been to. One of the owners is always sweeping and cleaning things. The salon was clean and a nice environment but unfortunately after two bad experiences I won't be back. The first time the tech forgot to apply the topcoat randomly so I had to go back to reapply and it was sloppy. The second time I arrived for my scheduled appointment and they put me into a chair to soak and waited 40 minutes while they took walk ins for manicures and left me waiting. I was in there for 2 and a half hours for a basic manicure and pedicure. The manager offered to give me $5.00 off for my wait time. The nail techs working were all very kind but the service was awful, the manager made it worse and they don't know how to prioritize appointments with walk-ins so don't bother with an appointment. read more
