There's plenty of seating, including standard tables, a full bar, and a long high-top table tucked beneath an overhang that's perfect for larger groups. Behind the bar, two TVs provide entertainment, and a large display showcases their rotating craft beer selection. They also offer happy hour Wednesday through Sunday. We were seated right away, and our server greeted us shortly afterward. She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the beer selection. If you're unsure what to order, they'll gladly provide complimentary samples, or you can opt for a beer flight to sample four different brews. I ordered the bacon nacho fries topped with pulled pork along with a beer flight. Every beer was cold, fresh, and flavorful. The nacho fries were the standout of the meal. They were surprisingly delicious. The fries stayed nice and crispy despite all the toppings, giving each bite a great balance of texture and flavor. Two of us shared the appetizer along with our drinks, and it was more than enough food. I'd definitely order it again. Overall, we had a great experience. Between the welcoming service, excellent craft beer, and tasty food, this is a place I'll definitely be returning to so I can work my way through more of the menu.

There's also a spacious private dining area off to the right that can be reserved for larger gatherings and is separated from the main dining room by doors. The menu features all the classic roadhouse favorites you'd expect. We visited with a party of 12, and our server did a great job keeping up with our large group. I will say that there was only one other table with patrons during our visit. So, I can't speak to the service when they are busy. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the service remained attentive throughout the meal. I ordered the carnitas tacos, which come with your choice of French fries or chips and salsa. I went with the chips and salsa. The meal includes two tacos, and they're much larger than traditional street tacos. I'd estimate they're about twice the size. The carnitas had great flavor and were served nice and hot. My only complaint was the amount of grease in each taco. Each time I picked up a taco, grease continuously dripped out at a steady rate for several seconds, making them a bit messy to eat. The chips were fresh with a satisfying crunch, and the salsa was flavorful. It paired well with both the chips and the tacos. Overall, the tacos were good, but I don't feel they justified the $18 price tag. Even so, I'd come back and give the restaurant another try, as there are several other items on the menu that looked worth ordering.

Immediately, you notice the food truck is nicely decorated and visually appealing, the Grizzly bear featured very prominently. The name of the place doesn't give away the food, so for anyone wondering, they do burgers, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches. They also have the word Burgers visible on the outside of the truck. We were first in line and our order was promptly taken and the workers were all very friendly and seemed genuinely excited to greet and serve me. I opted for the double grizzly bite and I asked for jalapeños on it. It was a good choice! Very delicious and extremely filling, you won't be disappointed. Huge burger. I also enjoyed the side of fries, but for an additional $3, not sure that I enjoyed them well enough to justify the extra $3, for something that's normally included. Quick suggestion there: offer an optional seasoning or something that makes the fries pop and I think they would go a lot further! My wife ordered the chicken tenders with fries. She got 4 tenders and said they had great flavor and the fries were good. We had to ask for ranch on the side, but there were no issues there! All in all, 5/5 stars. Will definitely try them again!

The restaurant is smaller than you expect it to be, but it is cozy, friendly, and not overly loud. We only had a 10 minute wait when we arrived and they were packed. Our waiter Kyle was on point, introduced himself and dropped the special of the day with gusto. If I hadn't already had a ton of carbs for the day I would have gone with it. Ended up ordering the scallops, and fried zucchini appetizers. Scallops are served almost like a soup. The sauce in the bowl was to die for. I'm thinking white wine, and lemon were the major components. It was phenomenal. Fried zucchini was super tasty and is coming home with us. I'd swear it was enough to feed 4 people. For mains, we ordered pot roast and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Wife loved the pasta and chicken. Surprisingly enough she ate it all, none to go which is super rare for her. Pot roast was fantastic. Mashed potatoes were on point, the mixed vegetables were amazing. When you get broccoli and carrots on the same plate and neither have a mushy texture it makes me happy Will definitely be back again in the future.

Back when I worked for the City of Manteca, they frequently catered our events, and the food was always something to look forward to. My coworkers and I also made it a tradition to visit the restaurant about once a month for breakfast or brunch, and it never disappointed! The food is absolutely delicious, with a fantastic variety of options to choose from. You can tell there's real care and attention put into what they serve. The staff has always been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Now, I'll admit, it's definitely on the pricier side, but in my experience, the quality of the food, the selection, and the wonderful service make it worth every penny. I love supporting local businesses that consistently deliver great experiences, and Besitos is one of those places I genuinely enjoy recommending. He gave us some great recommendations and he was very pleasant. We started with the fig bruschetta and that was a 10 out of 10. It had little bacon bits on top which added a layer of flavor. We also had the spinach and artichoke crab dip, which was 10 out of 10. We added extra crostinis which is recommended. For a drink, I had the Cosmo, which was nice and refreshing. I also had a taste of the Old Glory and that was a nice refreshing twist on the old-fashioned, which was recommended by our server. I had the Calabrian Chile Shrimp Scampi over pappardelle pasta and it was the 10 out of 10. The layers of flavor with the capers, lemon, bacon and spice was perfect! I tried a piece of the crusted halibut, which was very moist and flavorful as well as the salmon. All was great on flavor. For dessert we had the brownie with vanilla ice cream, which is a huge brownie. I would say it's good for four people. I also tried the apple pie cheesecake which was very good and the mixed berry crumble that tasted fresh. I ordered an espresso martini to try it and it looked a little messy on the glass. As for taste, I felt like the Vodka drowned out the espresso notes. 6/10 As mentioned, our server was very friendly and attentive however he did fail to bring ice water when requested, but overall great experience .

The place is narrow, with a long counter running down the length of it and additional seating tucked away in the back. Grab a seat at the counter and the grill is literally right on the other side, so you get a front-row seat to the action while your breakfast is being made. And honestly, the entertainment is half the experience. The cooks and wait staff are constantly joking, talking, and giving each other a hard time. Their friendly banter is so natural that I found myself wondering if this was a family-run business. Whether it is or not, they definitely have that kind of chemistry. They also seemed to know just about every regular who walked through the door. Between the conversations, laughter, open grill, and familiar faces, I couldn't help thinking I'd somehow wandered onto an episode of Cheers, only instead of sitting at the bar with a beer, I was at the counter with coffee and a seriously impressive breakfast. I ordered The Moose Omelet, and apparently the moose isn't just there for decoration. This thing is a beast. Four eggs packed with crisp bacon, linguica, sausage, ham, green onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, and thin-sliced potatoes that reminded me of scalloped potatoes, all folded into the omelet and blanketed with melted cheddar cheese. Their homemade pico was delicious and went perfectly with the omelet. What I liked most about The Mangy Moose is that it doesn't feel manufactured or overly polished. It's a real neighborhood diner with character, generous food, friendly people, and the kind of atmosphere that's becoming harder and harder to find.
