They have a host but you can walk-in to belly up, or make reservations if the # of attendees is around 10. All the staff are super friendly on both sides of the bar (retail and restaurant)! They (like any self-respecting craft beer bar) use Untappd to keep their draft list publicized. And both times I've gone it has been a vey solid list, complemented by some tasty cocktails. But the star of the show is the plain 8.3 cheese pizza with solid undercarriage (I don't like wobbly / flimsy pizza either) that has the right amount of char. As much as I love a supreme pizza, there's almost too much topping and not enough support for it. Still delicious though. We had six in our party and needed a highchair. Seating was "odd" with the only practical table so big in the corner but not useful because of the way it's arranged. The temperature was 85 inside with only a dirty fan blowing hot air for relief. The bathrooms where closed and a yellow tape kept you from even washing your hands! The employees, (maybe owner and wife?) had nothing to say, no smiles, and little to suggest you matter to them. (This is crucial) When you work very hard to put out a good product and business is good, you get very tired, but don't forget to appreciate your clientele, they also work very hard for the money they're very willing to give you on the other side of your cash register. It works both ways. Cleanliness was just okay, but bordering tattered and dirty! This is also a confusion for me. Re-invest in your atmosphere. It's really not that expensive if you keep up on the little things and not let it become a huge turn off. I would hope this critique would be constructive not a put down. As I mentioned, "the pizza was actually very good", we just live too far for take-out.
