first off .... who sells thigh meat as "tenders" or as they call them "tendies"…read more this is a huge scam. I have eaten chicken tenders for 40+ years .... never have I had them served to me as thigh meat the thigh meat was from a low end source a very poor and cheap cut of meat, fatty, greesy, un-seasoned and just plain gross. the sandos ..... again thigh meat ........ any "chicken sandwich" you order from a restaurant is breast meat unless they make it clear. again, I have 40+ years of experience here. spice .... non existent and had a faint curry taste to it. this is not nashville hot chicken. breading .... gross ... no flavor. no crunch. straight up gross. the comeback sauce .... so gross. also ... in the photos on their instagram the sandos .... have coleslaw in addition to the pickles and sauce. both our sandos came with no coleslaw. what the heck? I have had nashville hot chicken in toronto, los angeles, vancouver and nashville. this place does not at all taste like that profile. also not one of the places I have been to served gross thigh meat instead of breast meat. we spent $40 and had a couple bites all of it went in the trash. and even then I felt indigestion for hours. gross all over. this is the worst restaurant experience I have had in over 5 years. do yourself a favour and drive into vancouver and go to downlow chicken, frying pan chicken or cream pony. these places all have real traditional nashville hot chicken sandos. do yourself a favour and avoid this place!!

The size of the chicken meat is pretty big but has absolutely no seasoning. You have to make sure there's sauce or pickles when you take a bite. Was excited for the waffle fries but they felt old and dry. Super disappointed...should have read reviews before ordering here.

The place is really dim and they play a lot of heavy metal music. Staff are friendly. Buddy and I had the Slaughter house platter which serves 2 people. Ribs, slices of brisket, pulled pork, and some salt & pepper wings. Comes with carrots and onions and turnip(?) and potato wedges. Decent amount of food. Definitely left satisfied. I'd come back for more BBQ goodness. Food is solid. Recommended.

They were blaring death metal the whole time, which is definitely up my alley. The beer list is just average, but I could enjoy a glass or two here. Food-wise, I got a veggie burger (a proper homemade bean-based patty, not a fake meat one), with a side caesar salad (~$20 + surcharges for vegan cheese). The burger was massive; I liked the patty, but it was otherwise a fairly low-effort, low-quality burger -- iceberg lettuce, lifeless white bun, etc. -- and quite pricey. After tax/tip, that was a ~$28 meal. Yikes. They also are able to do vegan nachos, but I'm not huge into junk food. Maybe I'll try them another time if I'm here with other vegans. Fun spot that beats most environments solely because of the music., but there's little else to lure me back given how many superior vegan food options there are in the area.

This brewery offered a hot chocolate item for the Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival 2025. I visited…read morea few weeks ago and tried a unique hot chocolate item, and I revisited for the new limited item for the festival. #139 Maple Nutty Bliss Hot Chocolate - This decadent treat combines the deep, roasty flavors of maple pecan beer, creamy cashew purée, and the classic warmth of hot cocoa. First, maple pecan beer is reduced to a syrupy sweetness, enhancing the chocolate with nutty, caramelized notes. Then, smooth puréed cashews are stirred in, adding a creamy texture that balances the rich chocolate base. Served with velvety squash purée swirled into a rich traditional vanilla custard in a buttery croissant cup. The hot chocolate's cashew nut puree was very unique. I stirred it well, and it made the drink even creamier. Before stirring, I tasted a bit of the puree, and it was so nutty, flavorful, and had a great texture. The hot chocolate itself wasn't too sweet, with a subtle maple pecan beer flavor. The squash puree into vanilla custard in the croissant cup was delicious. The vanilla custard melted like lava, and the croissant cup was crispy. I hope I can have it again, even though it's a limited item. Service was very friendly and attentive. It is a very popular brewery, and I will revisit to get a beer again.

I've only had beers here so I can't really comment on the food but my friends seem to like it. They rave about the beef brisket and the pulled pork. My choice of beer is usually the Juicy but they do have an interesting variety to choose from. To be honest I'm not sure how the ordering works, sometimes you order at the counter and other times they come to your table. The service is friendly. It's a decent size place and has a cozy atmosphere. There is free street parking out front.....
