I normally just run in and grab dog food but they have a lot of good products. I've also bought dog cookies that usually come in fun shapes and colors. I have one very picky dog who hates everything but loves those cookies. The store is always clean. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The store offers a good variety of products for all kinds of critters. The rewards program is pretty good and they frequently offer coupons. There is a self dog wash station. Occasionally, they host adoption pop ups too. They also have donation boxes at the front for various shelters. Definitely stop in for any needed pet supplies!

It is a smaller pet supply store and I think it's somewhat disorganized. They definitely have much less variety than you would get at a PetSmart. They had some fish tanks with fish to purchase, and they also had cats that they were wanting to be rehomed. I did find grain free cat treats that my cats enjoy and I was very pleased with the price. I bought three different flavors for $1.99 and they had quality ingredients. So if I was in the area, I actually would go back to that pet store to purchase those because they are probably two dollars cheaper per bag than I typically purchase. The checkout was fast and easy and the service was very friendly and helpful.

BEWARE! See attached photos/videos…read more We brought our beloved Lilly Peppercorn to Puppy's Playpen, providing clear reference photos of exactly how she should be styled. PP sliced her eyelid with scissors, botched her appearance, crushed her spirit, took zero accountability, showed zero compassion, and cancelled US as customers. During pick-up, our dog looked nothing like she was supposed to. Worse yet, we noticed that she was squinting in one eye and it was red and bloodshot. When we asked what happened, they casually dismissed it, saying, "She probably just had hair in her eye." After putting Lilly P in the car and looking at her some more, we decided my S/O would go back in and ask for a refund for the trim. They tried to tell my S/O that I specifically requested changes to her appearance when I dropped her off. In reality, I TEXTED the groomer (that morning during drop-off) a photo of how she is meant to look after a trim and asked them not to deviate from her style at all. While they begrudgingly approved a refund, the manager, Valerie, rather than taking any accountability or providing any degree of customer service, said that Puppy's Playpen would be cancelling us as customers. Once we got home, our poor girl was quivering, clearly shaken, and not acting like herself. She wouldn't play or engage with us at all, which is completely out of character as she is 100% play-driven. She just sat on the couch, shaking and squinting with one eye. Concerned, we took her to the vet, only to discover that her eyelid had been sliced through with scissors and that she would need anti-biotic / steroid eyedrops to heal up. When we called the shop about the issue, not only did they refuse to take accountability, but the same manager, Valerie, showed no compassion, empathy, or care AT ALL. Instead of offering any meaningful resolution, she coldly told us, that they would not reimburse vet bills, citing their terms of service applicable to everyone, and reminding us not to come in again. This entire experience has been heartbreaking, unacceptable, and frankly, jarring. We trusted Puppy's Playpen to treat and make our beloved dog look great, and they completely failed--not just in their work, but in their basic duties of care and decency. We strongly caution any pet parent to think twice before taking their animals here. Media guide: 1. Photo of Lilly at pick-up from PP. 2.Outdoor photo - provided to PP to match her previous style.

The homemade treats are a favorite for my doggies. I usually buy the dozen bag and a few extra fun ones. I haven't inquired about their grooming services yet and need to do so. My doggies are low maintenance on grooming but certainly need one from time to time. The customer service here is great and there is one employee who is just fantastic! I need to ask her name because she is just so helpful and nice! She has been there every time I go in besides one. She has short hair and wears glasses, probably close to my height at 5'2 or a little taller. She is a treasure and if I get her name, I'll come back and add it here. She is an asset for this business! Always helps me pick out good items, promotes products but not in a pushy way, makes sure my pets have any free samples available. Helps me find things I need in the store. A big thanks to her for being a positive in my day when I visit the store! But you can't go just anywhere for dog grooming and other pet grooming services. Petco provides what amounts to a 'spa day' for our neurotic three-legged doggo. We can make appointments online, drop her off for a short period of time, and have the peace of mind that she is being cared for safely and lovingly. They offer various packages, but the package that works for us involves a nail trim, a bath, and even teeth brushing. All of that goes for about $50 and we always add tip on top of that. Sure, we can do all of those services ourselves, but it saves us the time, and quite frankly, the struggle, of getting our dog to sit still for all of those treatments. She doesn't like going to the groomer, but we are very pleased with the services that we receive, and our dog is always pleased to see us when we return. The only knock is the staffing can seem a bit disorganized, but that's just a minor thing. We get the value we are after and our doggo is always ready to show off after her trip 'to the spa'.

I'd advise taking care with fish- they use RO water, so drip acclimation will be necessary if you're on KC tap water. The Pygmy's cories I got from them were healthy, but they needed a slow acclimation to be put into my quarantine. They're now in the display. They're knowledgeable about their fish and plants (I'd assume salt water as well, but I don't have a saltwater tank, so I can't say one way or the other). The plants I've purchased from them have been great, except for one buce brownie tissue culture that melted and hasn't come back, but apparently my tank doesn't like buce, because I've tired multiple times, and buce melts and never come back, so I don't fault them for that. Their plants are nearly always in good shape and happy. I did buy some downoi that was super leggy, and so I trimmed it to use only the best of it. It's there, in the tank, and I'm watching to see what it does. But the tissue culture of the downoi I got from them really took off, and is propagating just fine. Their cost is in line with online sellers when you factor in shipping. I'll continue to use them. I've been pleased with the knowledge of the employees and their locality.
