We come here to get snacks and buy my fur babies cakes for their birthdays. The employees are very friendly and helpful always.

I found this place about 2 years ago when I was in search of a dog bakery for a birthday cake. On my most recent visit, I stopped to grab a cookie for my baby's "gotcha day" and the staff was extremely accommodating as usual. Everyone greeted me upon arrival, and asked if I needed any assistance. The store has alot to offer and carries tons of items you might want for your furry friend. I was in and out in 15 minutes or less.

It was our boy's first birthday and we wanted to treat him to something special! Saw this place on Yelp and decided to stop by to grab him some birthday goodies. These puppy treats are beautiful and smell pretty dang good too! My husband and I were both pretty tempted to take a bite, but once the lady behind the counter advised us they were best suited for puppy taste buds, we decided we'd leave the tasting to our dog. When it came time to give them to our pup, he gobbled them up! We've been back since to grab some more snacks for him. I will say the customer service wasn't so great either time, but the quality trumps all. We'll definitely be back.

This is the small bone cake. Was ready right then when I ordered, just needed to add his name and decoration. Thank you, Theresa!

The BEST dog bakery around. Norma, Theresa, and Alejandro are some of the kindest people on the planet. They are patient and willing to answer all questions and full of fun energy. My dog, Magnus, loves ALL of the treats we have tried. I picked up a cake this last week and it is absolutely perfect! Edit: I forgot to mention Bella! She is always greeting me with a smile and makes meaningful conversation as I shop.

I talked to my dog about how she would rate Three Dog Bakery... she gave it 5 barks out of 5. Im assuming that means she loved the treats. Im not a dog whisper, but I'm willing to bet your dog will love a treat or 5 from Three Dog Bakery.

Such a great place with natural treats for your fur baby! I get so jealous of how my puppy gets these cute treats that look like they are made for a bakery. We will continue to be back many times to come!

Always a favorite trip here while at the plaza! Even my dog knows the way here. They have a huge variety of treats, toys, all your pup needs. Staff is always so friendly and welcoming, always giving my dog a treat in store. They do custom dog cakes/cookies. I love they have a reward system too!! All their bakery treats look so good, and prices are reasonable!

My pup has definitely marked his new favorite spot and looks like we'll be a constant in this place. Located right at the center of plaza, it's highly convenient to grab something for our pup whilst we shop/dine. There's a lot to choose from for our pups in here ; treats to toys to apparel for each occasion. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff catering to your pups needs which makes any dog parent wanting to visit more. We got their "red velvet pup-cakes" which has been my pup's favorite and he absolutely loves it. They're reasonably priced and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for treating their pup to some quality treats !

This is the best dog bakery I've been to yet. Walked out with several different treats and a collar. Finding collars for my pup is really hard for me. I'm extremely indecisive and usually have something exact in mind but can never find the right one. This time I found the perfect collar for her without even having one in mind. Their selection is huge! TREATS!!! All the treats... you name it, they've got it. I went a little crazy and got several for Ryder but I couldn't help it. There were so many delicious looking ones for a great price! I got a whoofie pie for her and it smelt like carrot cake... I was tempted to try it lol! Ryder definitely loved it though as well as all the other treats she's tasted so far.

This is Lucky Girl's favorite take out spot in Kansas City. My little dog thinks this place is tops. She loves it when I bring home cookies, just for her, and can't wait for me to grab her leash, and take her. She knows all about the doggie cake they serve to dogs who are there, with their owners. Next time I go,I am planning on brining her, and she knows this. The doggie cookies are inexpensive, and worth my dollar, just for cuteness. The dog accessories are fun, and useful. I find things at this store, I've not seen at other stores. I also like the pies and cakes. The prices are great, and the staff is very friendly. Last night, all the customers who bought their dogs, the clerk went out to the dogs, and petted each one. When home, knowing I had the doggie cookies in the bag, my dog slept near the counter, waiting for me to give her more. I like it that this store is totally dog friendly, and think it's cool that you can leash up your dog, and take them shopping.

I have two Aussies and we always stop at Three Dog when we visit the Plaza. The staff is friendly and attentive; the treats sound tasty. My dogs always inhale the treats. I ask for soft ones because my dogs are on the older side (or just plain lazy of chewing) and they always have a really great selection. In fact, they look so much like people cookies that our friend who absent-mindedly searched our fridge mistakenly ate one a few weeks ago. He's still alive, thanks for the healthy treats! I make it a point to stop by for their annual ice cream social. It's the best and super fun to see all different types of dogs scarf down "ice cream." If you walk in, be prepared to walk out with a few random purchases that you didn't know you needed.

I'd advise taking care with fish- they use RO water, so drip acclimation will be necessary if you're on KC tap water. The Pygmy's cories I got from them were healthy, but they needed a slow acclimation to be put into my quarantine. They're now in the display. They're knowledgeable about their fish and plants (I'd assume salt water as well, but I don't have a saltwater tank, so I can't say one way or the other). The plants I've purchased from them have been great, except for one buce brownie tissue culture that melted and hasn't come back, but apparently my tank doesn't like buce, because I've tired multiple times, and buce melts and never come back, so I don't fault them for that. Their plants are nearly always in good shape and happy. I did buy some downoi that was super leggy, and so I trimmed it to use only the best of it. It's there, in the tank, and I'm watching to see what it does. But the tissue culture of the downoi I got from them really took off, and is propagating just fine. Their cost is in line with online sellers when you factor in shipping. I'll continue to use them. I've been pleased with the knowledge of the employees and their locality.

She groomed our goldendoodle exactly how we wanted it and we love how fluffy he was after grooming. We asked for 1/2 inch all around and rounded face with short rounded ears! BEWARE! See attached photos/videos…read more We brought our beloved Lilly Peppercorn to Puppy's Playpen, providing clear reference photos of exactly how she should be styled. PP sliced her eyelid with scissors, botched her appearance, crushed her spirit, took zero accountability, showed zero compassion, and cancelled US as customers. During pick-up, our dog looked nothing like she was supposed to. Worse yet, we noticed that she was squinting in one eye and it was red and bloodshot. When we asked what happened, they casually dismissed it, saying, "She probably just had hair in her eye." After putting Lilly P in the car and looking at her some more, we decided my S/O would go back in and ask for a refund for the trim. They tried to tell my S/O that I specifically requested changes to her appearance when I dropped her off. In reality, I TEXTED the groomer (that morning during drop-off) a photo of how she is meant to look after a trim and asked them not to deviate from her style at all. While they begrudgingly approved a refund, the manager, Valerie, rather than taking any accountability or providing any degree of customer service, said that Puppy's Playpen would be cancelling us as customers. Once we got home, our poor girl was quivering, clearly shaken, and not acting like herself. She wouldn't play or engage with us at all, which is completely out of character as she is 100% play-driven. She just sat on the couch, shaking and squinting with one eye. Concerned, we took her to the vet, only to discover that her eyelid had been sliced through with scissors and that she would need anti-biotic / steroid eyedrops to heal up. When we called the shop about the issue, not only did they refuse to take accountability, but the same manager, Valerie, showed no compassion, empathy, or care AT ALL. Instead of offering any meaningful resolution, she coldly told us, that they would not reimburse vet bills, citing their terms of service applicable to everyone, and reminding us not to come in again. This entire experience has been heartbreaking, unacceptable, and frankly, jarring. We trusted Puppy's Playpen to treat and make our beloved dog look great, and they completely failed--not just in their work, but in their basic duties of care and decency. We strongly caution any pet parent to think twice before taking their animals here. Media guide: 1. Photo of Lilly at pick-up from PP. 2.Outdoor photo - provided to PP to match her previous style.

They are also raising money to open a housing community for those with disabilities because it's often much more difficult for them to obtain and maintain housing.
