What a beautiful winery...we had a lovely table looking over gorgeous gardens! So enjoyed the wines and hummus plate. Learned so much about the winery history and the owner! read more

This is our go to winery every time we come up into the Willamette Valley. The wines are exceptional. Brandon our server was Gracious and knowledgeable. The wines fit our pallet's profile With every sip. The pea soup was amazing with its lemon oil drizzle and they split the large pork sandwich for us. These are crazy times right now with Covid and Brooks winery is Handling it with the upmost responsibility. Make your appointment, you will not be disappointed. read more

This is a review of our server, Brooke. My mother in law called in advance to confirm dogs were allowed for our inside reservation with family the day after Christmas, though I wasn't drinking because I'm pregnant. She was told yes as long as they're small and well behaved. Brooke came up to ask what service my dog was trained for, and I responded she wasn't a service animal. This wasn't the only miscommunication, the person on the phone also told my MIL outside food was allowed when it wasn't. Now I get having a dog inside could jeopardize their food license so she can't bend the rules for us, but Brooke was insistent that my MIL was wrong or misunderstood, and didn't even apologize for the miscommunication on behalf of her coworker. Luckily, we had two cars so I could leave vs having to sit in the car in the cold with my dog while pregnant! My family didn't enjoy the rest of their tasting and said she continued to have a crass attitude towards our party. They also felt the tasting fees were high for this region and the wines were lackluster. read more

We participated in a special class-oyster shucking. We had a fabulous time with Chef Norma and our wines and views matched the spectacular experience. I wish we lived local and could try the pizza night and brunch. It was truly a memorable experience and we loved every minute of it. read more

Brooks is a must-visit winery! great wine and the customer care is outstanding!

Brooks was great! This was my first time here and I love the smaller intimate vibes of this space. Zachary was our waiter/wine genius. He was fantastic at explaining the intricacies of the wine and was just very knowledgeable. The food here also paired so great with our wine flights. The Brussels sprouts were amazing! Do not be worried about the jalapeño mentioned they weren't spicy but just right! If you are looking for a new space to check out I couldn't recommend it more! read more

There is not much they could have done better for our date night.....great food, wine, atmosphere and dog friendly. We absolutely loved all the food which were beautifully presented.....burrata with asparagus, Oyster Rockefeller, and halibut with a carrot miso purée. read more

We made reservations and still had bad service, food, atmosphere and wine was fine. Would not return. Waited 40 min for service, no water refilled we had to share one last glass. Server Brooke was not friendly. read more

A beautiful biodynamic winery in the Willamette Valley! The tasting room had tables as well as a fair amount of bar seating which allowed us to hang out for awhile and learn about there wines. They did offer cheese plates as well, rinsed the tasting glass between reds and whites (I like that). I thought Lauren, our host was knowledgeable, and we never felt rushed. My husband joined the club here, the Pinot Noirs were superb, our favorite was the 2014 Old vine Pommard. We also enjoyed the 2016 Ara Reisling. You can taste red or white or a combination, the fee is waived if you buy. If you text your favorite to a phone number, you get a bonus pour which is kind of fun! However, most places will give you a bonus pour! We joined the club here, and will look forward to our shipment! read more

Great service & views of the cascades. Large number of varietals & a couple of beers for those who are not as into wines. Great experience, busy, but worth the drive read more

We visited on Memorial Day with reservations. Tyson was our server and was great, very informative. I was shocked to learn, as we left, that he has only worked here 3 weeks!! Since we are members we have been here many times and the food is always good with several vegan options as well as gluten free I have noticed. The herb popcorn and Brussels sprouts are must haves! read more

After checking online and finding that no reservations were required at that time, we made our way for our first visit to Brooks to celebrate an important day for us. It was about 45 min after opening- it was quite busy. We were turned away. The hostess Heidi seemed glib and dismissive. To avoid disappointing others in this manner, the website might recommend to call for reservations to prevent future customers from also feeling not valued. read more

Love coming to this winery, the atmosphere, views, wine and people are great. We sat on the lower level near the fire pits which was great ambiance but glad we brought our own blankets as it was still chilly! The grilled cheese with tomato bisque and the brussel sprouts were delicious! We shared a bottle of their Sparkling Riesling and loved it ! Jaime was our server and she was so kind and hospitable. Be sure to check this place out if ever exploring Oregon wine country or in the Amity area. read more

No where does it promote "Reservations Required". We walked into a half filled venue and was told they were "slammed" and could not accommodate two people. She didn't ask what we wanted. As we walked out she tried to sell us a membership and bottles of wine. Sorry no accomadations for even a short flight. read more

I'll start with the good: the wine and the location. Most of the time these two factors suffice for an enjoyable experience. However, as someone who has been a patron to this establishment multiple times, my most recent experience was so shockingly disappointing that I felt a review was warranted . The negligence we received from the wait staff was unlike anything I have ever experienced. We arrived for a 1:30 reservation, and didn't receive any acknowledgement from a single server for 30 minutes, not even a "hello, we'll be right with you". After waiting some time, we personally reached out to two servers, on our own accord, just to make sure they were aware that our table had been seated. Even still, little to no attention was given to us, and it took 45+ minutes just to receive a single glass of wine with little to no explanation or acknowledgment from our waiter. After we were finally able to order some food for lunch, we were left to wait some more. In fact, after an hour and half past our reservation we were told the "WiFi" had messed up, and the kitchen hadn't even received our order. By this point we were frustrated because we already felt like we were begging just to receive the bare minimum of service, and asked the waiter if we could even receive something to snack on while we continued to wait for our main course. The waiter said yes, but unsurprisingly at this point, nothing came. Meanwhile, people who were sat 30+ minutes after us had already received all their food and beverage. When we finally did receive our food (sandwiches and salads), the sandwich bread was completely burnt, and was obviously rushed and of sub par quality. When we wanted to express our concerns, we felt our concerns were dismissed by the lead (Zachary). I truly felt like the staff couldn't care less if we had a good experience or not. Ashlyn (who wasn't even our server) was perhaps the only one who genuinely made in effort to apologize. Overall, we left the establishment feeling like it was a massive waste of time. It is truly disappointing considering it was supposed to be a nice visit for our parents visiting from New York. I highly recommend the management takes this review into consideration, as this experience was enough for us to never come back or recommend to others. read more

This place is amazing from reservation to food and wine to finish! We made a reservation online, got a text to confirm and boom we were in! We arrived 30 minutes early and were seated right away. This is our first time to this winery and the view did not disappoint! We ordered lunch and a bottle of wine for the table. The food and wine did not disappoint! The staff was so nice and helpful with wine pairings with our food. I will be going to this winery again in the future when we visit Salem OR! read more

Our visit to Brooks was wonderful! The winery is beautiful and the views from the outside patio were wonderful. My friend and I were seated in a comfortable couch setting. Zachary greeted us and was so friendly and accommodating. My friend likes Riesling and I like Pinot Noir. He made sure we got the best tasting. The nice thing about Brooks is they serve food so we made an 11:30 reservation and enjoyed lunch there. I would highly recommend visiting this winery. read more

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, this was our favorite winery of the day. It screams "Portland", with wine, beer and coffee! A friend of mine, who works in the industry, recommended this as her and her husbands favorite and took us here. As members, they got us in as guests. Being our 3rd winery of the day, the guys were wined out and opted for a glass of beer. I was driving so I just had one tasting and then hit the complimentary buffet table of meets and cheeses, then tried one of their signature espressos. Inside, the place was decorated beautifully for Christmas. It was so lovely to sit back on their overstuffed sofa's and just relax for a while. Of all the wineries we'd been to that day, this one had the best view...and a lovely deck to take it in from. Unfortunately, we arrived as it was beginning to get dark and cloudy, so our photo ops had to be taken indoors. If you are in wine country and with any non-wine connoisseurs, bring them here for coffee and beer - while you sip your wine. read more

You have to go there! It's the best experience ever! From the Get-go, it had us at "Hello!" We ordered the wine tasting for mixed wines: whites and reds. I loved the Riesling. The men loved the Pinot Noirs. It's a fabulous, relaxing, exhilarating experience. It overlooks the Valley. And there's food! We had the Hazelnuts and the Olives. They paired perfectly with the wines. read more

We arrived for our 1pm appointment 20 minutes early. We were told that we could not sit down in the lobby area and wait for our table. We had to leave the tasting room . I would not suggest that you arrive at this property early. They missed out on a golden opportunity to sell a glass of wine to our party of five right then and there. We were then seated down below under the tasting room deck. The day was not sunny so I would not suggest that you sit in this area unless it's a nice warm day. Even with the fire pits and the blanket offerings it was chilly. Our server was nice but it seemed at times that we were completely forgotten about. We ordered flights of wine along with food. The flights were well taken care of by our server but the food was not so much. The table was very small and the food was crowded up on the table. We had to ask for plates which were quite small and then again no silverware was ever offered or given to us. Eating brussels sprouts with our fingers was interesting. The server was busy and seem to not pay much attention to us. Once the bottle of water was drank that was at our table when we first arrived, never offered up again. We have been looking forward to come to this winery for years and we were all so disappointed in the end. Don't need to go back or purchase any of the wines. read more

I'm such a fan of Brooks! Not only is the wine fantastic but the estate is beautifully manicured and really adds to the whole experience. There are a number of different areas in which to relax and enjoy your wine. The staff is kind and knowledgeable about their wines. I got the charcuterie plate and it was fabulous and higher quality than many of the other wineries I've visited in the area. I look forward to coming back and bringing more friends to experience it with me! read more

A really lovely tasting room off the beaten path in Amity. The drive out there is gorgeous in the spring when the trees are in bloom. The guy who helped my husband and I was really friendly and we had a nice visit, we were the only people in there. There is a really sweet winery cat that has taken up residence here. The wines were good, but I considered the pricing a touch high, especially for the area. It did not stop us from picking up a couple bottles. We will be back when in the area again. read more

My wife and I had a tasting last week and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff took all the necessary pandemic-related precautions and we felt very safe. We enjoyed the variety of Pinot Noir we tried as well as the dry Rieslings. We also augmented our tasting by trying the French onion soup and the warm chili & paprika hazelnuts - perfect for a cool day! Since Oregon will be locking down again soon due to the governor's mandate, we felt very fortunate to get in when we did. I recommend making a tasting reservation when Oregon reopens or ordering wine online to show your support; you can't go wrong with any of the Pinots! read more

We met up with friends "masks and all" for an afternoon on the upper balcony, what a view! Social distancing was in place and respected. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Had a great time at Brooks and enjoyed their Reisling tastings. My favorite was the 2016 Cahiers. Incredibly crisp, balanced and not overly sweet, which is atypical of dessert wine variety. You can drink this with anything savory or spicy. Would be good paring with rich chocolate cake too. Our sommelier was the master of Willamette Valley region and Brooks history. Our appreciation for the love and dedication they put into their products. read more

Our party of four arrived a few minutes early and at first we chose to be seated outside on the upper deck. The breeze was too strong and the umbrella shade was a bit unstable. We moved to a table inside the tasting room. And then, the wait staff seemed to forget we were there. After about 15 minutes, I asked a server if we could have some service. He responded very quickly, took our orders for wine, beer and a charcuterie plate which the four of us intended to share. The plate arrived with a serving knife but not individual plates or forks. One of the meat choices required cutting with a sharp knife in order to eat. We mentioned that to a server, who brought a steak knife but no forks. We had a pleasant time but four people eating cheeses, meats, bread, jam, etc with one serving knife and one steak knife is tricky. We all decided to not bother with asking for anything else. The setting and views are wonderful, the wine is excellent, the serving staff seemed to be either uncoordinated or under-supervised. read more

Had an amazing time at Brooks! They limit the amount of people allowed for dine in. Make sure you call ahead time secure a reservation, to my knowledge that's the only way they'll take you. I would highly recommend coming here! It will not disappoint. Janie worked with us to be able to see this amazing vineyard and we were so grateful. The food was to die for and the service was top notch. I had the fry bread taco and my husband had the sea scallops. Both exceeded our expectations. We tried a Pinot noir, White blend, and a Resiling which were all delicious. If we visit this area again we will definitely be back! Thanks again!! read more
