We have been Brooks Brother's customers for 40 years+. Every suit in my husband's closet is from BB. Our son went into the Plano, TX store to get measured for a suit we were buying for him locally, because we live 400 miles away. This is for a wedding. They refused to measure him because he was not buying the suit in that store. There are no longer any regular Brooks Brother's stores where we live, they have all closed. I gather they were cordial to him, but refused to help. All I can say is Wow. Pathetic. I realize many stores are now forced to compete with their on-line business & the outlet business under the same brand, although I am not sure this is true for BB. However, refusing to help someone with something as basic as this. The guy at the outlet store (all that is available to us now) couldn't have been more professional and helpful. The employees at the Plano store denigrated the outlet stores, said they didn't know what they were doing. Customer Service is what separates the men from the boys. Plano needs to learn about it before they are the next BB store to close. read more

I have worn Brooks Brothers since I was a small boy. My family's relationship with BB dates back over one hundred years. Yes, there have been some up's and downs over the years, but all in all the new owners seem to be doing well. The problem and it is a substantial one, is the staff and management of the Willow Bend store In Plano. Upon entering the store you are first treated as if you are a potential thief before you are treated as a customer. Browsing is an uncomfortable experience with staff peeking around corners and positioning themselves so they can watch you in the mirrors. I am well aware that shrink is substantial problem across the retail spectrum but at this particular store the vibe is irritatingly oppressive. read more

Francesca was the one who helped me. It was my first time shopping with Brooks Brothers and she was amazing! She offered suggestion and alternative to my choices when things were out of stock. She gave advice on color and fit and was extremely knowledgeable in helping me on how to decide on what to pick and how to best conveniently get my clothes to me. If it ain't Brooks, don't fix it. Does that mean these products constantly get broken? Not sure. Expensive men's clothes, with a selection of women's as well but mainly this is aiming at men. It's inside Willow Bend and they have suits and pants and jackets and whatever else you need to look like a fancy Country Style Gentleman or a Manhattan stockbroker if you prefer. The main problem is the price and for that reason I probably won't find myself shopping here anytime soon. read more

The worst customer service ever! We visited this store the afternoon of May 26th. It was not busy and there may have been one or two other customers browsing. We walked in with 3 sport coats that we purchased online and needed standard alterations. Andrew B., a senior associate since 2005 was called over to assist us. By the way he slowly strolled over with a gloomy face, we could tell he was not excited to help us. We made a request to add button holes and buttons to the cuffs - something you have to have altered with every sport coat. This wasn't something Andrew was interested in doing and he acted like we were putting him out. Before even looking at the coats, he started deterring our request by stating the lead time in alterations was very long and they don't usually do that sort of thing anymore. We explained we just needed button holes and to check the sleeve length. He again acted put off and that we were annoying him. At this point, my husband started getting frustrated and questioned how long it would take to tailor the 3 sport coats with just finishing out the button holes & adding the buttons, nothing else. Andrew replied it would be 3 weeks min. We were shocked because we have shopped at BB for years, using the McKinney store, and have never heard of such a long lead time, nor had a bad experience with a salesman before. I wish this was the end of the interaction, but it got worse from there. Then he belittled us by explaining that the seamstress had to measure and it was a process, like we have never had a tailored article of clothing. Then he added an additional challenge, obviously because he was not interested in helping us from the start or ever, he clarified that it was just the buttons and then said they don't even do it at that store...paused a moment to get the appropriate shock on our face, then continued to add that they had to ship it to Houston to do it. At this point my husband lost it. We left with the coats and called the store manager Leanne. We filed a complaint with her and corporate, returned the 3 coats (which were each over $1,000) and have waited a month to see what would be done. No word from BB. Total silence. Seriously, what the heck was Brooks Brothers thinking leaving one suburban store with subpar employees for all of Dallas?!?!? A legacy company like BB should value their clientele in this market. I hope they realize this 5 minute interaction cost a loyal, frequent customer. We will be using Neimans, RL and the other men's fineries in Dallas. Brooks Brothers is just not worth a 45 minute drive in traffic to be insulted by a pompous, self important clerk who does not value people. read more

I hate shopping... I wear clothing until it's threadbare. I like to buy work and casual wear at Brooks Brothers because it's classic, timeless style and I get good mileage out of it. The staff in this store is exceptional! They are all friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond to help customers. I always work with Christine when I shop there... she's amazing... she's built a great customer / stylist relationship with me by being knowledgeable, friendly, and honest about what looks good on me and how I can make it look even better! She's challenged me (with her good humor) to expand beyond my usual "safe" wardrobe color palette of primary colors, black, blue/navy, khaki cotton shirts and pants and helped me to find where I can do some brighter colors, prints, and linen (which I swore I'd never buy) that look good on me that feel comfortable wearing and that I can mix/match. Like I said above... I hate shopping... but Christine makes the experience at Brooks Brothers wonderful! read more

From the quality of the clothes to the staff this is by far the best high end clothing store. Price is always reasonable with always great deals. Staff amazing I find them helpful and friendly in service and talking too. I dont know any main stream retail stores that actually care about the customer service like BrooksBrothers. My only kinda complaint is I want Brooksbrothers to bring back the soild rep tie. Also this place deserves more stars and to the people giving it low reviews, you don't have a clue about anything. Amazing string of experiences at the Willow Bend Brooks Brothers! Had two made to measure suits and was fitted by Shannon. She was beyond amazing, friendly, and caring. I decided to bring my boys in to get clothes for an upcoming event, and was helped again by her and Seth. Both proactively jumped to help me find just the right clothes for my boys. A few weeks later, my made to order suits came in, and the Staff once again was friendly and proactive to get the suit fit just right. The tailor was awesome and his attention to detail was impeccable. During that visit, I enjoyed talking with the Assistant Manger, Christine, who was charming and helpful well beyond just buying clothes. Brooks Brothers is an iconic brand. While I am disappointed that the brand not longer makes their clothes in the US, the customization, the overall quality of the fabrics, and mostly and the wonderful experience with the staff will have me combing back again. read more

Purchased over $1,000 of clothing online. Due to their generous sizing a number of items didn't fit. I called the Southlake Brooks Brothers 3 times to ensure their tailor would be there. The last call took approximately 10 minutes to finally make an appointment. I showed up on time, and then proceeded to wait for 15 minutes for them to track down the tailor, only to be told it would be another 15 minutes until she was there. If they had informed me the tailor had an emergency and would be late upon my arrival, I would have been very understanding. However, to keep me waiting 15 minutes to only be told there would an additional delay is unprofessional. I returned all items. They did not fit properly and based on this experience merely waiting for the tailor I can only imagine how hard it would be to get my clothing retuned and with the proper adjustments. read more

Great place, very helpful staff. Sometimes I need to grab shirts in a pinch at work and Brooks Brothers never lets me down, especially this location. They have great management, whenever I call in they will hold my shirts for me. If i need special orders, they handle it promptly and get me what I need quickly. read more

Can't say enough about Brooks Brothers, and the rep that helped me, his name was Tip. I was getting married, needed a new suit. I worked for Rolls Royce, had several contacts for men's clothes.
