If it ain't brooks don't fix it

If it ain't Brooks, don't fix it. Does that mean these products constantly get broken? Not sure. Expensive men's clothes, with a selection of women's as well but mainly this is aiming at men. It's inside Willow Bend and they have suits and pants and jackets and whatever else you need to look like a fancy Country Style Gentleman or a Manhattan stockbroker if you prefer. The main problem is the price and for that reason I probably won't find myself shopping here anytime soon.

We felt like Michael's sheep instead of his client.

The worst customer service ever! We visited this store the afternoon of May 26th. It was not busy and there may have been one or two other customers browsing. We walked in with 3 sport coats that we purchased online and needed standard alterations. Andrew B., a senior associate since 2005 was called over to assist us. By the way he slowly strolled over with a gloomy face, we could tell he was not excited to help us. We made a request to add button holes and buttons to the cuffs - something you have to have altered with every sport coat. This wasn't something Andrew was interested in doing and he acted like we were putting him out. Before even looking at the coats, he started deterring our request by stating the lead time in alterations was very long and they don't usually do that sort of thing anymore. We explained we just needed button holes and to check the sleeve length. He again acted put off and that we were annoying him. At this point, my husband started getting frustrated and questioned how long it would take to tailor the 3 sport coats with just finishing out the button holes & adding the buttons, nothing else. Andrew replied it would be 3 weeks min. We were shocked because we have shopped at BB for years, using the McKinney store, and have never heard of such a long lead time, nor had a bad experience with a salesman before. I wish this was the end of the interaction, but it got worse from there. Then he belittled us by explaining that the seamstress had to measure and it was a process, like we have never had a tailored article of clothing. Then he added an additional challenge, obviously because he was not interested in helping us from the start or ever, he clarified that it was just the buttons and then said they don't even do it at that store...paused a moment to get the appropriate shock on our face, then continued to add that they had to ship it to Houston to do it. At this point my husband lost it. We left with the coats and called the store manager Leanne. We filed a complaint with her and corporate, returned the 3 coats (which were each over $1,000) and have waited a month to see what would be done. No word from BB. Total silence. Seriously, what the heck was Brooks Brothers thinking leaving one suburban store with subpar employees for all of Dallas?!?!? A legacy company like BB should value their clientele in this market. I hope they realize this 5 minute interaction cost a loyal, frequent customer. We will be using Neimans, RL and the other men's fineries in Dallas. Brooks Brothers is just not worth a 45 minute drive in traffic to be insulted by a pompous, self important clerk who does not value people.

My first french cuff a VERY good deal on it.

Old Navy January 30, 2026…read more 4 stars This Old Navy location was clean, well-organized, and easy to shop. The clearance section had a great selection, and we were able to find several really good deals. There was also a surprisingly large amount of Disney merchandise available, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a very positive shopping experience with good variety and strong clearance finds. Would definitely return. The service was decent only received it at the register though. Employees don't greet you or say hello when you enter or while you're shopping.

1-Star Review: Old Navy's Outdated & Customer-Hostile Pricing Policy…read more I am beyond disappointed with Old Navy's archaic and frankly pathetic pricing and price-adjustment policies. In 2025, it is ridiculous that a major retailer still refuses to honor their own online prices in-store unless the item is also purchased online. What kind of logic is that? I shopped in-store on Black Friday, assuming I was getting the best deal of the year -- only to find out on Cyber Monday that nearly every item I bought was significantly cheaper online. I could have saved at least 25% more had I purchased online instead of in-store. When I called customer service, I was told they "can't help" and that I had to physically go back to the store for a price adjustment. Who does this in 2025? Fine. I went to the store. Then the cashier tells me I need to bring all the items back just so they can process a return and make me re-buy everything at the online price. How is this remotely customer-friendly? How is this efficient? Why does a customer need to jump through hoops because the company refuses to align in-store and online pricing? Lesson learned: NEVER shop in Old Navy stores. Their in-store prices are almost always higher, and their policies make it incredibly difficult to get a price adjustment. If you must shop at Old Navy, buy online only -- pick up in store if you must. Online purchases offer the best pricing and customer service actually helps you over the phone. Retailers with such outdated, non-customer-centered policies have no one to blame but themselves when they struggle or go out of business. In a world where Amazon, Nordstrom, Macy's, Temu, and Shein are making shopping easier and more convenient, Old Navy is stuck in the past. Do better, Old Navy -- or prepare to be left behind.

Upon entering I was promptly greeted and asked if I needed any help (great!). I explained that I just browsing. Unfortunately for the duration of my time in the store I had a new shadow who was either pointing out how the thing I happened to glancing at was on sale, or was lurking within 5 feet waiting to pounce on the next opportunity (not so great). They even pulled out some sports coats and guilted me into trying them on even after I said I was not interested. I love good customer service but good service also means knowing when to give your customer some space. It got so annoying that I decided it was not even worth spending the reward and just left. I do like JAB but do not like the aggravation I get when coming to this location. It has happened to me in the past here. I ended up going to the Frisco location and got great service. Of all things I ended up buying a sports coat! The ability to read your customer and let them naturally come to their own conclusion / buying decision can make all the difference In the result.

They really did listen and care that I am satisfied with the resolution. I wasn't going to write a review but the more I think about my experience at this store today the more I don't want someone else to have to endure it. My fiancé and I went looking for, potentially a rental or purchase for our upcoming wedding. I know my fiancé can be a little difficult and he has high expectations for what he wants for the wedding. However, at one point I made a suggestion of a vest only option and the saleswoman took it upon herself to tell me what I "have" to do at my wedding because the dresses are floor length and formalities and blah blah. I listened for a moment before finally interrupting her to remind her that I/we can do what we want at our wedding. She then attempted to explain that it's her job to coordinate these things. She also mentioned how the pocket squares and ties have to be the same color as the bridesmaid dresses. Again another thing we don't want. We aren't a traditional couple I guess and maybe some of you will read this and gasp at my ideas for our wedding but it's not her job to coordinate my wedding. It is her job to sell or rent us the suit/tux we want. Also it is not her job to tell us the suit or tux we have to have. I truly felt offended and put off leaving this store today and if we do opt to rent or buy from Men's Wearhouse it will not be this location. Two stars because there is a good selection and there are a lot of options. I will give her credit for showing us many other options. And I won't post names because I absolutely do not want anyone to lose a job over my single experience.

Super nice, normal and friendly staff who will do everything possible to ensure you have an ultimate experience. (No snobs on staff.) Today I drove 20 minutes from HP to go to this store specifically. (The Downtown and Northpark location are no where close in giving a great experience! Those employees are aloof, or on busy days - frazzled and can barely deal with 2 customers at the same time.) I was greated by a nice lady as I walked in who answered 2 questions I had. A few minutes later I passed her again and she offered to alert the cologne staff I was headed that way. Awesome VIP service to a unknown customer! (Nafise - you are fabulous!) At the cologne area, Geraldyne took 45 minutes to help me evaluate Tom Ford colognes. It was so fun - and there was a vendor rep who joined us and helped. I had a blast!!! So, they gave me 3 sample tubes of the Tom Fords I likes most. But then they pulled out 14 other samples of high end men's colognes!! They even included the #1 winner of the best cologne in the world too (it won the world wide FIFI cologne competition). Then I got to chat for 30 minutes with Nafise on my way out. Turns out she is on the management team and awesome to know. Personally, I've not had such a great Neimans experience in decades. I'll NEVER go to Northpark or Downtown again.
