I haven't been there in a few years and they were super busy last Friday when I picked up my online order. I did that on Yelp via Grubhub I think but it was me who ordered. I show him my order on my phone and he said he could not find it :/ A few minutes later he found it. I picked them up and left. The food was hot and delicious. But my Portobello ravioli was soupy. I meant the sauce was like watery instead of a cream like sauce. I think maybe it's the wine? But regardless it was delicious! I will be back maybe I will dine it next time。 read more

The garlic knots here are legitimately one of the best things I have ever eaten. Super tasty when they were fresh and warm. It felt like they made them special just for me and I would go back just to order 12 for myself. The young guy behind the counter was unbelievably helpful. His name might have been Riley if I remember correctly and he was super kind to someone, like me, who was doing a pickup/orderout order inside. Honestly, not a great experience here. We called ahead and they had told me 20-30 minutes, I had waited about 25 minutes to arrive, walked in and sat there what felt like 10 minutes before anyone even asked if I needed help. I gave them my name and it was a bunch questions about my order. The reply was "let me find out" Clearly felt like they either lost the order or never started it. I asked about how long and their reply was "let me find out" proceeded to wait and wait and wait. Overall, I waited there 30 more minutes from once I walked in. I'm pretty confused by all the highly rated reviews. Ordered takeout and was heavily disappointed with the entire order. The pizza was so charred that the crust was like cardboard and there was just a whisper of sauce. That lack of sauce was also an issue with the pastas as well. I'm talking almost dry to the point we added some at home so we could eat it. Alfredo had no flavor other than garlic, and the worst offense was disgusting unwashed salad full dirt. Oh, how we love Brooklyn's! Had it delivered previously, but just had our first in-person visit recently, and they still definitely bring it. Love their salads and their dressing -- particularly the Creamy Italian -- but it is absolutely their pizzas that keep us coming back and craving them time and time again. The restaurant is your nice little hole-in-the-wall (and the front door certainly lets the drafts in on these cold nights), but the staff definitely shines and this is what still makes obvious differences from, say, fast food. Our server was hustling the moment he saw us walk in, and he impressed with his friendly, energetic attitude and attentiveness (he even took our order from memory, which always scares me, but he got everything correct); he really appeared to have a handle on all aspects of the place, and seemed to take pride in his job - the kind of qualities that are missing from a lot of dine-in experiences now. I have been here twice and while the location is not the greatest as the entrance is confusing, the pizza was consistent. It was hot, toppings and cheese held to the crust, and had a high heated yet foldable crust. The service was subpar for late lunch time but It is definitely worth a try. read more

Recommend delivery but have never dined in. One of our favorite places stopped carrying caprese salad so decided to give Brooklyn V a try and happy we did. The pizza, salads, wings, and desserts were all great! Definitely will order again! read more

This specific location - stay away! Very unfriendly staff. Walked to pick up my pizza and the staff member just ignored me and went to help other people who came in after me. I felt like I was being judged by wearing a mask. Finally another staff member asked if I needed help and I was able to get my pizza. read more

I wish I could give more stars!! Superb, authentic, fresh, hot food! We've been coming here since they first ever opened and we continue to bring friends, family, birthday celebrations, etc here! The waitstaff is incredibly helpful and kind. The owner is a really genuine person, and small world- he grew up down the street from my father in NY! This is REAL new York pizza... thin, greasy, gooey, saucy pizza in all of its glory. Get the wings "extra crispy with extra sauce" and thank me later! My wife and visit our son in Gilbert every few months and we make it a point to come here. This place is very obviously family owned and you can tell that those working here WANT to be there. There's a gentleman named Joey that seems to be a manager, FANTASTIC individual. He'll have a conversation with you if you want, he'll take your order and leave you alone if you don't want to talk. It can get busy so if you visit and see a lot of people, be prepared to wait a little bit. But you will be happy that you did. My son and I always order the bbq chicken Stromboli, you should be hungry if you order it, it's a lot...and it's amazing! My wife faithfully will order the spaghetti with clam sauce which also very good. But the best part is the dessert. They typically have two to three types of cheesecake so long as they don't run out, and they are all the best cheesecake I have ever had. Even their Oreo cheesecake is done right so that it is not overly sweet. They even made an entire raspberry cheesecake for my wife when I told them it was her birthday and I wanted to get one for her. Every staff member is friendly, every meal is satisfying, and every time I visit Gilbert, I pay these guys a visit. Do yourself a favor, EAT HERE NOW! read more

Went to Brooklyn V's Pizza- Gilbert today! Holy cow, it was delicious! We got the V's three meat, and the sausage on the pizza was AMAZING. A great crust that held up with each slice. We also had the Mozzarella Sticks, they were great. I forgot to take picture of them though! The service was great, and timely. read more

We used to be a big fan of this place but had a horrible experience with the pizza and wings last night. Ordered the wings crispy and they came out rock hard. Slices of pizza were also stale with no flavor. Also had to ask for plates. Complete waste of $40. Ordered this tonight through Uber eats and everything was soooo yummy. Even my side salad was good. I ordered the pasta carbonara with chicken. My partner ordered fettuccine Alfredo with sausage. It was so good. Both pastas tasted like they were worth way more than we paid. After the two pastas and the two salads we paid around 60 dollars delivered but it was worth it cause we have food left over. We definitely recommend and will be back! read more

Wow wow wow. I am absolutely impressed by this place. Came here per recommendation from the guy at Big O tires while I waited for my tire change and I am so glad he did! I came in on a Friday afternoon and there was only 1 other guy in the place. The employees working were so nice and courteous. I ordered an IPA and of course the keg needed to be changed. He took care of that promptly and made some great menu recommendations. I got a side Caesar, side meatball, and a slice of Margherita pizza. Literally I'm pretty sure this was the best Caesar salad I've ver had in my life. It was huge and enough for me to have some to take Togo. The meatball was good and it came with a little piece of toast to soak up the sauce WHICH I LOVED. The pizza was cooked perfectly and was so delicious and crispy! I've eaten in lotta different establishments over my 50 years and I would have to say that every time I've eaten here it has been excellent. I often order on GrubHub and get a sandwich and along with that sandwich I always order two extra sausages and when I thought sausage the first time I ordered it I wasn't expecting what I got. Two sausages come with marinara sauce and tomato is a complete meal for me. And the sandwich always waits till the next day. As often as I can I will order this combination. Found this place because as Door Dashers, we have to stop here at least 2x on Fridays when delivering. We figured as pizza fans, we owe it to ourselves to try it. We are super glad we did. I'm a big fan of variety and this place offers up slices of most of the pizzas they serve!! Yay, we can sample without having to purchase an entire pizza! On our first visit, we ordered a 14" V's 3 meat (Ital.sausage pepperoni and meatball) - really good. All meats had great flavor. The pizza wasn't greasy despite all the meat. That night we sampled a slice of Margherita pizza - it was so good we ordered a full size on our next visit. Toppings were fresh and none overpowered the others. Crust was good and despite the trek back home, it traveled well. Our second visit we sampled the white eggplant slice and the baked caprese slice - don't think we could handle a full pizza of either but a slice of each was satisfying. We do want to dine in next time and I'm looking forward to finding new favorites. read more

I got Uber Eats the other night and although it was very good , I could not find a option for ranch . The lady who picked up my food said the young lady refused to give her my ranch and was very rude to her , I don't mind paying for ranch if there is that option . My thought is , don't be rude ! Let me start this out by saying HOLY MOLY YES! As I've mentioned in a few of my other recent posts, we've been avoiding takeout due to COVID-19 and have only recently ventured back out. Tonight I was CRAVING pizza so I scoured Yelp to find help in deciding which place to choose! Yelpers did not let me down! We ordered a V3 pizza, hold the sausage, well done; Mozz sticks and honey hot wings, extra crispy. When I was done paying online, I was told my order would be ready in 15-30 minutes-GREAT! When we got there, I went in wearing my mask (per city rule) and expected to be the only one wearing one...boy was I wrong! Every person in there was wearing a mask! Staff, patrons, everyone! There were signs up encouraging people to wear masks, and they had a station set up for hand sanitizer, which I thought was really fantastic! The staff greeted me right away, everyone was so friendly, and my food was ready right on time! The drive to the house seemed to take forever because it smelled so good!! We dove right in and everything was great...some of the best pizza I have had in AZ! Big slices, just enough spice to notice, and the perfect amount of sauce to topping ratio! I don't Normally order from other pizzerias, but the one I usually do was closed so I gave this one a try. NEVER again! MY PIZZA WAS A SOGGY MESS! I ordered a well done half pepperoni and half olive and mushroom. The pizza was practically inedible. Whomever cut the pizza obviously doesn't know how to do so. I only ordered the pizza and a salad which took almost two hours to deliver. I called after a hour at 15 min and the girl said they were still waiting on the pizza.
