I have been here twice and while the location is not the greatest as the entrance is confusing, the pizza was consistent. It was hot, toppings and cheese held to the crust, and had a high heated yet foldable crust. The service was subpar for late lunch time but It is definitely worth a try. read more

Recommend delivery but have never dined in. One of our favorite places stopped carrying caprese salad so decided to give Brooklyn V a try and happy we did. The pizza, salads, wings, and desserts were all great! Definitely will order again! read more

This specific location - stay away! Very unfriendly staff. Walked to pick up my pizza and the staff member just ignored me and went to help other people who came in after me. I felt like I was being judged by wearing a mask. Finally another staff member asked if I needed help and I was able to get my pizza. read more

Pizza was an absolute disappointment. Whom ever makes the dough needs (no pun intended) to be retrained. I could shingle a house with this stuff. This quite possibly could be the worst pizza we have ever had. Granted it has been a few years since we ordered from here. Same reason as the last time we dined in but chalked it up to new restraunt blues. (Yes it has been that long since we spent money here.) It really is a shame. I wish I could give more stars!! Superb, authentic, fresh, hot food! We've been coming here since they first ever opened and we continue to bring friends, family, birthday celebrations, etc here! The waitstaff is incredibly helpful and kind. The owner is a really genuine person, and small world- he grew up down the street from my father in NY! This is REAL new York pizza... thin, greasy, gooey, saucy pizza in all of its glory. Get the wings "extra crispy with extra sauce" and thank me later! If you're lucky, they will be selling homemade cheesecake slices when you're there and it's the BEST DAMN $7 you will ever spend. Go! read more

I'm pretty confused by all the highly rated reviews. Ordered takeout and was heavily disappointed with the entire order. The pizza was so charred that the crust was like cardboard and there was just a whisper of sauce. That lack of sauce was also an issue with the pastas as well. I'm talking almost dry to the point we added some at home so we could eat it. Alfredo had no flavor other than garlic, and the worst offense was disgusting unwashed salad full dirt. That went straights into the trash along with all the leftovers. read more

Went to Brooklyn V's Pizza- Gilbert today! Holy cow, it was delicious! We got the V's three meat, and the sausage on the pizza was AMAZING. A great crust that held up with each slice. Wow wow wow. I am absolutely impressed by this place. Came here per recommendation from the guy at Big O tires while I waited for my tire change and I am so glad he did! I came in on a Friday afternoon and there was only 1 other guy in the place. The employees working were so nice and courteous. I ordered an IPA and of course the keg needed to be changed. He took care of that promptly and made some great menu recommendations. I got a side Caesar, side meatball, and a slice of Margherita pizza. Literally I'm pretty sure this was the best Caesar salad I've ver had in my life. It was huge and enough for me to have some to take Togo. The meatball was good and it came with a little piece of toast to soak up the sauce WHICH I LOVED. The pizza was cooked perfectly and was so delicious and crispy! My wife and visit our son in Gilbert every few months and we make it a point to come here. This place is very obviously family owned and you can tell that those working here WANT to be there. There's a gentleman named Joey that seems to be a manager, FANTASTIC individual. He'll have a conversation with you if you want, he'll take your order and leave you alone if you don't want to talk. It can get busy so if you visit and see a lot of people, be prepared to wait a little bit. But you will be happy that you did. My son and I always order the bbq chicken Stromboli, you should be hungry if you order it, it's a lot...and it's amazing! My wife faithfully will order the spaghetti with clam sauce which also very good. But the best part is the dessert. They typically have two to three types of cheesecake so long as they don't run out, and they are all the best cheesecake I have ever had. Even their Oreo cheesecake is done right so that it is not overly sweet. They even made an entire raspberry cheesecake for my wife when I told them it was her birthday and I wanted to get one for her. Every staff member is friendly, every meal is satisfying, and every time I visit Gilbert, I pay these guys a visit. Do yourself a favor, EAT HERE NOW! read more

We used to be a big fan of this place but had a horrible experience with the pizza and wings last night. Ordered the wings crispy and they came out rock hard. Slices of pizza were also stale with no flavor. Also had to ask for plates. Complete waste of $40. We tried to hint to the server at how disappointing the meal was but he was more concerned with the fact that shop was closing in 20 minutes. read more

I got Uber Eats the other night and although it was very good , I could not find a option for ranch . The lady who picked up my food said the young lady refused to give her my ranch and was very rude to her , I don't mind paying for ranch if there is that option . My thought is , don't be rude ! Let me start this out by saying HOLY MOLY YES! As I've mentioned in a few of my other recent posts, we've been avoiding takeout due to COVID-19 and have only recently ventured back out. Tonight I was CRAVING pizza so I scoured Yelp to find help in deciding which place to choose! Yelpers did not let me down! We ordered a V3 pizza, hold the sausage, well done; Mozz sticks and honey hot wings, extra crispy. When I was done paying online, I was told my order would be ready in 15-30 minutes-GREAT! When we got there, I went in wearing my mask (per city rule) and expected to be the only one wearing one...boy was I wrong! Every person in there was wearing a mask! Staff, patrons, everyone! There were signs up encouraging people to wear masks, and they had a station set up for hand sanitizer, which I thought was really fantastic! The staff greeted me right away, everyone was so friendly, and my food was ready right on time! The drive to the house seemed to take forever because it smelled so good!! We dove right in and everything was great...some of the best pizza I have had in AZ! Big slices, just enough spice to notice, and the perfect amount of sauce to topping ratio! Found this place because as Door Dashers, we have to stop here at least 2x on Fridays when delivering. We figured as pizza fans, we owe it to ourselves to try it. We are super glad we did. I'm a big fan of variety and this place offers up slices of most of the pizzas they serve!! Yay, we can sample without having to purchase an entire pizza! On our first visit, we ordered a 14" V's 3 meat (Ital.sausage pepperoni and meatball) - really good. All meats had great flavor. The pizza wasn't greasy despite all the meat. That night we sampled a slice of Margherita pizza - it was so good we ordered a full size on our next visit. Toppings were fresh and none overpowered the others. Crust was good and despite the trek back home, it traveled well. Our second visit we sampled the white eggplant slice and the baked caprese slice - don't think we could handle a full pizza of either but a slice of each was satisfying. We do want to dine in next time and I'm looking forward to finding new favorites. read more

I've eaten in lotta different establishments over my 50 years and I would have to say that every time I've eaten here it has been excellent. I often order on GrubHub and get a sandwich and along with that sandwich I always order two extra sausages and when I thought sausage the first time I ordered it I wasn't expecting what I got. Two sausages come with marinara sauce and tomato is a complete meal for me. And the sandwich always waits till the next day. As often as I can I will order this combination. A salt water aquarium is a major undertaking that must be done gradually to succeed but this looks like an amazing start. The food continues to be delicious with the addition of multiple items in almost every course. We started with the Burrata, Prosciutto and Bruschetta. Each component was delicious. For the main course, I had the Chicken Milanese which is served at the table with the sauce and cheese being slid onto the crispy breaded Chicken cutlet and a side of spaghetti. My wife had the perfectly cooked Chilean Sea Bass and the perfect accompanying glass of wine suggested by the owner, Nikola. My son-in-law had a new dish, the beef wellington. It was also exactly as he likes it, medium rare and super tender. For desert, we had the canoli. The service was excellent yet not intrusive. Best wishes on the new expansion Nikola. (FYSA my review is for the one off Lindsay and Gilbert Road in Gilbert, Arizona, but I didn't see that on here so I'm just putting it on Brooklyn's page) I wasn't planning on doing a pizza taste test while I was in Arizona, but that's exactly what ended up happening, and Brooklyn V's came out on top. What's probably important to mention is that I'm not a first-time customer. I lived in Arizona for five years, and Friday nights were pretty much split between Brooklyn V's and another local pizza spot. Over that time, I've probably eaten at Brooklyn V's 20 to 25 times, so I have a pretty good baseline for what they're capable of. During this trip, I decided to do a side-by-side (100% blind-no bias here) comparison, slice for slice, judging everything from appearance and freshness to firmness, texture, consistency, and overall taste. To my surprise, Brooklyn V's took the win. The first thing I noticed was the freshness. The ingredients tasted fresh, the cheese had great flavor, and the overall quality was immediately noticeable. The crust had that perfect New York style balance where it was firm enough to hold its shape but still had just the right amount of flexibility when you folded the slice. If you're a pizza person, you know exactly what I'm talking about. What really stood out was the consistency. Nothing felt overcooked. Nothing felt rushed. Everything seemed intentional. The texture, flavor, and overall bite were exactly what I want from a good New York style pizza. One thing I've always appreciated about Brooklyn V's is that they don't seem focused on being flashy. They focus on making good pizza, and after all these years, that formula still works. Having eaten here regularly over a five-year period, I can honestly say this wasn't some lucky visit. The quality has been consistently good for as long as I've been coming here. This most recent visit simply reminded me why Brooklyn V's became one of my regular Friday night stops in the first place. If you're looking for quality New York style pizza in Gilbert, this place absolutely deserves a visit. Best pizza and garlic knots in the Phoenix region, hands down. I can't stand when everyone claims "New York Style Pizza" and ends up being nowhere even close. I'm a New Yorker and moved out here four years ago. I have traveled throughout all 48 of the continental United States multiple times and always find it humorous and disappointing when a place makes claims with their fake NY Style sign. A friend recommended Brooklyn V's because his Long Island wife says it's the only place she will eat pizza here in Phoenix. I took him up on the suggestion and am so glad I did. The second the garlic knots came out I knew. I then had my plain cheese slice come out and it has the perfect thin crust slight crisp yet still foldable feel to it. He uses much better mozzarella cheese than anyone else and knows how to manipulate the water to get it like The City water (come on, there is only one city you can call The City - NYC). Finally, my stuffed shells came out. They were fantastic. And, my waiter did what no other waiter has done outside of the northeast (and because of this I knew I was at a true NY owned Italian/pizza joint). He asked if I wanted a loaf to go with my stuffed shells. Yeah, most places throw some bread on the table (what Italian place wouldn't), but a true Italian place has a good crispy outside soft inside Italian slices loaf coming and coming until the check is paid. And, sometimes even more after that. The owner came out when he heard I was from NY to check on my wife and I and see what we thought. We ended up having a conversation for 15-20 minutes. Great guy who knows his pizza. It was nice talking about NY with him. Plain and simple, you want the best pizza and garlic knots in Phoenix metro and some damn good Italian food? Take the trip to Brooklyn V's. We go there from Ahwatukee, which is a haul, but totally worth it. Again and again, our pizza spot. It should be yours, too. read more

I didn't really know what I was missing until I ate here for dinner! I love pizza and this is now my go to restaurant for anything Italian! I am so happy to find a place that is 100 times better than chain pizza places but still affordable. The food was all good! (The only thing that I thought could be a little better was the garlic knots, mine was pretty oily...but everyone else enjoyed them). I'm pretty skeptical about ordering spaghetti out at restaurants but it was divine. The alfredo was gone in minutes..so creamy and delicious. I love that the food tasted homemade (except way way yummier!). The Margherita pizza was amazing. And I love that the pizza tastes just as good the next day reheated in my oven! The service was exceptional and the owners are so genuine and kind. They go above and beyond and are willing to do anything to make the customers happy. I'm here to review and made an account just because the last review I saw is completely wrong and immoral. It seems like the person who left the negative review might be a competitor. The food here is never bad, the place is very clean. This happens to be the best freakin' pizza place in and around Gilbert by a very long shot. I order food every day because I'm a single hard-working guy who hates to cook. I order from this place maybe 2 - 4 times a week; that's how good they are. Their employees are the best, their food is the best, their prices are better than other places, and it's a very clean place. For someone to say otherwise is to lie to you. Just buy one dish from Brooklyn V's and buy the same dish from another restaurant and you will notice that Brooklyn V's food looks better, tastes better, and seems much much fresher. I have used Yelp for years and this is my first review. I went to Brooklyn V's yesterday because a friend recommended it. I am from Brooklyn and the pizzeria that I was going to closed so I was a bit skeptical. I am so glad I tried it! The owner was there and he was such a nice guy. Sorry, I already forgot his name. While I waited for my order he came over and gave me a free slice of pizza and a drink just because I was a new customer (and maybe because I was from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn). Anyway, I will be going back and trying them for dinner. The place is really nice with big booths and I believe they have someone come in and play music during the dinner hour on occasion. The first time I went here it was delicious. I took my children in for the lunch special and received great service from the owner. The second time I ordered I decided to have it delivered. The pizza was disgustingly greasy the garlic knots were burnt I was just so disappointed that they would that this leave the restaurant like I was I was genuinely shocked the owner seemed to have taken such pride and joy in what he did and I just, I was blown away. We've been to this place twice and really liked it. Yes I said LIKED it. We just came in for dinner and sat for 10 minutes waiting to be served... nothing nada. Another customer ( a regular I'm assuming since they called him by name) walked in sat down and was served instantly. Well that's it, we walked out but not before telling them that we were disappointed. The two girls behind the counter looked as if they were lost. The girl in red was more interested her soda she was drinking and the girl in black was more concerned with dirty tables. Today I was invited to go have lunch here and let's just say it must have been destiny because I fell in love with this place with the first bite. The food here is absolutely amazing and genuinely authentic. I had never had stromboli before so I got the pepperoni, sausage and meatball stromboli. Amazing food and quality service. The atmosphere is great and the service is phenomenal. The restaurant is fairly new (opened about a year ago) and the staff really makes you feel at home. I'm originally from New York myself, and I absolutely love Brooklyn V's, it makes me homesick in the best kind of way! I've tried all of their pizzas, a few of their dinners and all of their strombolis. The food is incredible. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to ANYONE! Was at the goodwill and decided to drop in for a slice of pie, and sure glad I did. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Vito! He is such a cool guy he makes sure that he goes up to every table to introduce himself and then ensure everything was to satisfaction. It's great to see an owner that involved in his business! One 10" 8-corner feeds me for days (leftovers hit different at 2 a.m. when you're questioning your life choices). I live way out in deep Queen Creek. Do I care? Nope. I will happily drive to Higley and Baseline like it's a holy pilgrimage. I'll wait two hours on a busy night if I have to. I'll sit in traffic, I'll fight for parking, I'll do whatever it takes. Sign me up for the frequent flyer program, the loyalty card, the "I drove from Queen Creek" bumper sticker -- whatever they've got. Jet's didn't just make good pizza. They healed my 22-year pizza trauma. 10/10. Will continue making questionable life decisions for these corners.

There are not a lot of options outside of your usual garlic bread, monkey bread, appetizers in addition to a few different types of pizza. It is great for kids because they have a small pizza that is the perfect, shareable size for kids. The pizza comes out pretty fast and is definitely inexpensive compared to other, local pizza places. The service was great, there are not a lot of drink options, you can get a few different types of salads, and parking is available in the lot. There are fun pieces of heart hanging about.Overall, the pizza was good-the kids loved it, and if you were looking to get pizza for your kids, it's a pretty quick inconvenient place to do so.
