I really had a taste for a Bodega sandwich in it seems like it will be easy to find, but so many of the corner stores make crappy sandwiches these days. I was luckily in the area of Brooklyn sub. It was fairly quiet when interred with only a few customers milling and a delivery man on his way out the door. Like some of the other said the store was really clean and the guys in the back were ready to roll. The guy took my order in May the sandwich quickly and for the 1st time I wasn't asked whether I wanted salt, pepper, vinegar or oil. I shrugged it off, tipped the nice man, took my sandwich to the front and cashed out. Ringing in at $9, it was a little pricier than some of the other delis that I've been to and sandwich felt a little lighter. But hey, I wanted a good sandwich. I waited to eat until I got home and was glad the sandwich held up. I took a bite, and it was a really solid sando. Fresh and well-constructed. The bread was amazing. I'm glad I have an option in the area. Thanks guys.

I just got home and showered and can't contain myself. This is the best sandwich that I have ever split with one of my best friends in my LIFE! AHHHHHHHHHHH! I WANT TO LIVE IN BROOKLYN SUB. No joke. The only things you need to know is that they can put almost anything you want on to a sandwich for a ridiculously cheap amount of money and that they turn off their grills by 6pm. I almost don't even know what the hell we got because Ingrid hasn't really eaten in like 2-3 days from stress. BUT Zaneta I think got a sub sandwich with sesame seed bun with jerk turkey or smoked jerk turkey of some sorts with jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, tiny bit of mayo, vinegar & oil, and jalapenos. Lots of freaking jalapenos. And I got another beer and plopped down and poured that dog fish head into a styrofoam cup. I say that I can live here because they have everything you could ever want and bare with me I have a photogenic memory: toilet paper, towels, advil, sanitary pads, cat/dog food, fresh fruit!, mixers, amy's soup, oreos, amy's organic bunny & the parmesan mac & cheese, gold fish crackers, ramen noodles, kraft dinner, cereals, organic cookies, chips ahoy, pepperidge farm, those hazelnut pieruette twirl cookies you dip in coffee that are amazing, a million kinds of chips/nuts: including party mix with both sun chips, dorritos & cheetos. You've got to be kidding me. I can seriously keep going. I have issues. But I also want to live in this store. It's the best thing since Jesus. Also, WAY fresher than Subway and doesn't make me want to vomit after ingesting it. Two thumbs up. Zaneta would also like to thank me for remembering that this exists after I exclaimed I was hungry after losing tremendously in an arousing game of pub trivia at St. Catherine's. I do not know my politics/history but apparently I got several sports questions right that I pulled out of my ass. Brooklyn Sub FTW.

Decent samwiches! I got a honey bunny, which came with a ton of turkey and ham. My bf has gotten the cheesesteak a couple times, which is pretty good. Nothing exciting, average prices.

Great bang for your buck. $8.50 for a 10" sub packed with meat. Half of the sandwich could fill you up for a small lunch. Highly recommend!

They have some options for sandwiches, but for my first time I went with a simple honey turkey and cheese and added salsalito.

There's a couple of tables in a small store. Above the register there's a menu board resembling a train departures board, cycling through the options (it looks neat, but the printed out menu on your right is a lot more practical). There's a cooler with drinks and salads as you enter on the right. The sandwiches, however, are something special. On my first visit I went with something familiar, the Mean Streets (their Italian sandwich). The bread itself is fantastic (locally baked), and the toppings delicious as well (if I recall correctly the dressings are house made). Pleasantly, they also give you a paper plate with your order, which is a nice touch compared to eating off a wrapper. I enjoyed the first sandwich so much I came back the next day to try the No Sleep Til Gravesend. The sandwich is essentially a hot roast beef sandwich, with a jus on the sandwich reminiscent of a French Dip. Perfect on a cold, rainy day. Overall, 1 of 1 has great (and mostly house made) ingredients and great execution. There's a level of creativity on the menu that you rarely see elsewhere in the city. 1 of 1 is among the best sandwich shops in the city, and a very welcome addition to the area.

When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Expensive though, about $55 dollars for a vegan 18-inch Margherita pie with 3 toppings. Was it worth it for the experience? Yes. Would I recommend to someone who wanted to try it at least once for a good dairy-free pizza? Absolutely, I couldn't even tell this was vegan cheese. Would I get it again? Maybe (?) once in a while as a treat with price being the only barrier. Service 5/5: This was great. I came here the other day to inquire about their vegan pizza and just wanted to try a slice. The person found his manager to talk to me about this. They were super friendly and explained to me the situation. This location only sold vegan options in full pies and their other DOP Fast Life location does sell vegan slices, but they didn't try to push me to buy. I came back today and the staff today were also very welcoming. Ambiance 5/5: Rustic red brick interior with warm lighting. It was definitely bustling on a Friday night. Food 5/5: Delicious pizza. I do regret that I ate it cold after driving 30 minutes to pick it up so I did not get the full experience. But the crust was still crunchy. I do wish the toppings were a little heavier but the tomato chunks in the sauce tasted very fresh. A very classic New York style pizza and I couldn't even tell it wasn't real cheese. Vegan garlic knots were great too.
