I had a long meeting with the owner and we discussed my needs and the approval process required by my Management company. While I had lower quotes, I decided to go with a local company and I felt confident that they would do the best job. The project was on hold due to brickwork being done in my building. I notified the company back in March once the work was completed and the project could proceed. I called repeatedly for months, as well as sent e-mails and text messages. I never received a reply from the owners and the staff were clueless whenever I called. Finally, after five months of fruitless calls, an office worker told me that the owner said the company didn't have the type of insurance needed to proceed with the project. I don't understand why they wouldn't have told me this back in October 2025, as I clearly stated the requirements. I asked the office worker when my deposit would be returned and, although nearly a month has elapsed, I still haven't heard back. it's really unprofessional that no one kept in touch with me and I was kept waiting for a project that never materialized. I could have had the work completed months ago by another company. Due to serious pigeon infestations, I have not been able to use my balcony for the entire spring and summer. Furthermore, while I received lower quotes from other companies, their prices have increased and they will no longer honor my original quote. I gave a sizable deposit, which could have been earring interest in the bank. I am very disappointing because I liked the owner and thought the business was reputable. It's inexcusable not to return a customer's phone calls. If they no longer wanted to do the project, I should have been promptly notified and not left hanging for so many months and they should not have held on to my money.

Ziv fixed a lock that everyone else gave up on…read more The inside handle on my front door broke off. As my door has an unusual mortise lock, finding a replacement was extremely challenging. I had to call several locksmiths and Mul-T-Lock itself before I found Ziv. He immediately recognized this ("that's an Italian door"). He had the handles in stock, filed them to fit, fashioned a spindle, and had every back together and working. He also took the time to correct other problems with the lock, including a stripped screw and bent deadbolt. Impressed with his work, and sensing this was a good opportunity to get everything fixed at once, I had him re-key the cylinder. Turns out the previous locksmith had broken it (which explained why my key didn't work on the inside of the door). Ziv replaced it with a new cylinder. He showed off his cleverness by reusing the old parts and drilling an access hole for the set screw. Despite taking longer than expected, he stuck to his original quoted price.

Maryann was great with providing quotes and expectation of arrivals etc. Both jobs were done with care to preserve the integrity of our home. Clean-up was well done as well as carefully. Beautiful job. Prior to these windows being installed we had tremendous drafts and noise. These windows were sealed up so well and sized perfectly that neither is an issue anymore. We have been enjoying the winters so much more as we're not freezing all the time. Can't say enough good things about how happy we are with them. The estimate was completely wrong. For one thing, it was for French doors instead of a single door. I don't understand how they could get that so wrong when an appraiser came out in person. I wrote back to tell them what was incorrect and to politely express disappointment. I received no reply at all. I'm done with them.
