If only all companies were as wonderful as this one....we got estimates from four companies for our shower doors. Knock On Glass was the fourth and also the priciest - but the old adage "you get what you pay for" is quite applicable in this case. Also, Vitaly (the owner) and his father are *incredibly* nice. In addition, Vitaly's responses to our messages were always very prompt and he was also quite flexible re: the installation date (re: the latter, the bathroom renovations ran WAY over schedule - repeatedly - and we had to change the date with Vitaly a few times). I am somewhat reluctant to write this so soon as my new glass shower door was just installed yesterday. In a world where so often nothing goes right, Vitaliy showed it can be done right. I had a couple of other estimates, one as much as $1100 more than Vitaliy charged me. I emailed Vitaliy after reading all the positive reviews here. Within 10 minutes he responded. We emailed back and forth discussing what I was looking for, then they came out the very next day to measure. Vitaliy and his father were right on time. They measured the space and happily discussed all of the options available. I was still a bit reluctant at this point as he came in so much cheaper than other places, and he required a 50% down when he came to measure. He said at that point it would be 7-10 business days for manufacturing. (One other place told me 3 weeks). At some point in the following days I emailed Vitaliy as my building required a Certificate of Insurance for delivery. Of course, Vitaliy emailed me the completed form the next day. The last surprise was that the door was manufactured early and they could come out to install it. I think this entire process went down over the course of 10 days from the day I first emailed Knock on Glass to the day they installed it. Vitaliy and his Dad work together, and they were super professional, courteous, efficient, neat, and affordable. I know this sounds too good of a review to be real, but I assure you this was my experience. In what was an awful bathroom renovation experience up to this point, the final piece of installing a custom shower door was as smooth and flawless a process as could be. Thanks! read more
