I contracted Design Fencing about three weeks ago. The job included removal of existing chain link fence and installation of six foot PVC privacy fence with two gates. they obtained the building permit, scheduled the installation and showed up on time. I am very pleased with my new fence. The fence was the color and model I wanted. I was promised installation within 4-6 weeks pending weather and PRIOR JOBS. Although the prior jobs kind of turned me off, they were able to get my fence up on the 6th week while the supplies waited in my driveway for just 5 days. 3 employees did the install. 1 supervised mostly. I am happy with the final product. I am happy with the leveling and strength so far. If i had to criticize anything, it be small details such as the gap photos where pieces werent perfectly aligned. I am a perfectionist and attention to detail is what gets you 5 stars. I gave my recommendations to them as far as closing gaps and they definitely delivered. I still had a little clean-up to do when they left but I didnt mind because they did a good job. They took off $200 from the estimate I was given prior to them. After doing research for several months, I came across Design Fencing and am very happy I found them! We had to switch gears with the location and timing of our fence and Design Fencing was extremely accommodating throughout our whole process. It was completed by the brother of the owner, Joe Palumbo within a reasonable time period with all the required stages of the process having been performed in a meticulous & perofessional manner. I hired Greg Gaske to repair a very old and weather-beaten fence. I was dubious that the fence could even be restored. Greg came to my home and surveyed the job. After he evaluated the work at hand, he promised to "do it right." When I had additional questions, he came to my home a second time to walk me through the process. He was polite, patient and thorough. When the project was complete, I was pleasantly surprised to see such high quality results on my very old fence. Greg is a talented and knowledgeable craftsman. These guys were awesome, came in and knocked out this job in one day and left the property completely immaculate when they were done. Installation team worked very hard under difficult circumstances (weather plus complicated job). Installation team lead Jose was very polite and managed the team well. This is our 2nd review due to additional work we contracted Design Fencing to do for us,,as well as our next door neighbor. Joe kept us informed on any scheduling issues,the materials arrived and right after the Christmas New years holidays Anthony, Omar and Frank handled this 2 day job. Anthony is a terrific lead man, Omar and Frank are tireless assistants,,and what we got was outstanding results. Our old fencing was removed and hauied away along with any other trash which is a big plus.The fencing looks great, sturdy and very complimentary. We needed to replace an old rotted wooden fence at the back of our property and I got Design Fencing's name from Home Advisor. Matt came out the next day and listened carefully to our concerns and gave us a very reasonable estimate for a chain link fence. He said that the work would be done in 4 to 6 weeks. Fast forward to yesterday, about 5 weeks later and Matt and his assistant, also named Matt, showed up exactly on time. They worked nonstop to remove a weed tree that was in the way, not an easy job. Then he remembered our concern that the fence be installed directly on our property line (an earlier competitor fence installer had screwed up badly) and asked us to very specifically show him where the fence was to be installed. True to his word, the fence was installed absolutely correctly, looks great and they removed every last bit of trash, including some garbage that had been stored behind the old fence. I am so pleased with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

THE PUNCHLINE: Design Painting undercut the price of the competition, offered to begin the job before everyone could, estimated the job would take three days (as did his competition), and then assembled a team who finished in one. I couldn't be happier with their price, time, and work, and will be a returning customer. MORE DETAIL: I put my job's description (Painting the interior walls and trim of my home's foyer, living room, dining room, and kitchen) on Angie's List, and Design Fencing called me back along with several others. I met with two other painters before Design Fencing because I was just shopping around, and I was sold the moment Jeremy and his crew came into my house to give me an estimate. They were extremely motivated and knowledgeable. Jeremy asked me about my family and when I mentioned that I had a seven week old son in the house, Jeremy upgraded the paint I would be using to make sure to have as minimal fumes as possible. Jeremy made time to go over his reviews with me, as well as photos from his team's previous work. He was able to guess what other painters I had seen, as well as their competitive price. He was able to undercut them, as well as starting the job before they were able to, and I was so happy to see the job done under budget and ahead of schedule. We negotiated a price that we could both be happy with, and he gave me an estimate of three days on the job. His crew showed up on time, laid down tarps, used name brand primer and paint, and asked my permission if they could stay a couple hours later on the first day of their job, to which I agreed. The team at Design Fencing worked so well together that, with the extended hours they voluntarily asked for, they were able to finish the *ENTIRE JOB* in that one (long) day. I am now able to begin moving my furniture into my house several days earlier than I was planning on, and it is wonderful. The paint job was by no means "rushed". The lines look great and were hand applied, the team cleaned up when they were done, and they offered to come back over the next couple days if I notice anything that needs a touch up, which I honestly didn't see the need for.
