Before Fiaz came along, my patio was falling apart due to age. Fiaz suggested a more modern look for my patio and worked with my family and I on a design we agreed could be realistic for the amount of space and budget we had. It ended up turning out better than I could have expected. The addition of the storage under my patio that Fiaz and his team added was gamechanging and definitely has boosted overall quality of life in this past year. I now have pride in my house's appearance, and I owe it to New York Pavers! :) Thank you for all your hard work last summer! read more

NY Pavers did a fantastic job with the pavers and new fence in my backyard. Haseeb was a wonderful project manager and Ahmed and crew were professional and their work was outstanding. Haseeb worked with me to get the job done in my budget in a timely and efficient manner. I highly recommend them. Also, they came back to do a bit of finishing work on the cement border after the main job was complete. They didn't have to go that extra mile (not really part of the scope of work) but they cared about the quality of the work and wanted to make sure I was happy. read more

Great service! Was able to complete my patio balcony (cement/repainting) within one day. Great communication throughout the process.

New York Pavers did a fantastic job of laying porcelain tile over my old and ugly concrete patio slab. I'm thrilled with the results! Their very skilled team made my sad old patio look beautiful and stylish. This was a real win- added value to my property. They brought all the supplies to prepare the surface for the new tiles. They cleaned up at the end of each day. Respectful of our property. They arrived on time and finished on time. The supervisors took time to ask me what I wanted and then explained to me exactly what they would need to do to accomplish my goals. The pricing was very fair and the service was amazing. They were very professional, honest and easy to communicate with. I would be very pleased to use their services again on my next project! read more

Did you guys know that laying pavers is its own specialty work? Well, I sure didn't. So, by the time Ahmed came to pay me a visit, I was nearly in tears, after I had not one, but TWO different guys completely muff up the job, leaving me with a total mess of an incomplete project. Totally discouraged, I called NYP and spoke to Fiaz - - what a helpful and pleasant phone manner. He put me at ease right away and within 15 minutes (!), he had Ahmed come over to see how they could help. Ahmed was very kind, breaking the bad news to me gently. Nothing was salvageable and the entire area had to be ripped out and redone properly. I was concerned at that point, having already sunk money into the existing disaster and not knowing I could afford to have them finish the job correctly. But Ahmed's authentic demeanor earned my trust quickly (not an easy task where I'm concerned, mind you) and the very next day, he came to me with an extremely fair quote that was manageable. As a small business owner myself, I have higher standards than most when hiring (and I'm from the school of "the customer is always right"). There are critical components that make for a truly good business, like honesty, dependability, timeliness, communication, and Ahmed nailed every single one. He was clear, thorough, 100% professional and delivered on everything he promised, AND did it within my specified time frame. My project is finally complete and I couldn't be happier. As it turns out, the old saying is true: the third time really is the charm, all thanks to New York Pavers. I can't speak highly enough of them and you should feel 100% confident in hiring them. read more

Ahmed (and his team) did an awesome job demoing and repaving my sidewalk and new cement curb for property in Astoria. New York Pavers did a great job installing a paver stone patio in our Brooklyn backyard. We originally had astroturf on a very uneven yard with contractor shrubs that we didn't like (and were also spaced unevenly). New York Pavers was very responsive, reaching out to us quickly and setting up a consultation. Fiaz Ahmed showed up on time, texting beforehand and walking us through example pavers and taking photos for an estimate. We talked through different approaches for drainage and garden space. Two weeks later we had a new backyard. These guys went above and beyond to make sure materials were delivered to our sidewalk even though parking in our neighborhood is very tight. They showed up promptly to start the work day and moved fast. They also kept the worksite clean, which matters as all materials had to move through our apartment. Highly recommend. read more

We worked with NY Pavers to put pavers in our patio and also level the ground so puddles wouldn't form. We asked for quotes from two other companies, and Ahmed's quote was right on par with the other two. We chose NY Pavers because the scope of work was very thorough and Ahmed had great communication about what the project would entail. And it went well! Overall it was a great experience, because Ahmed and team: - Responded quickly during the process of getting approvals from my co-op building - Scheduled us in same-week once we got approval! Also called our super to help make sure we could proceed - Accurately estimated how long the project would take - Gave us realistic heads up on what the work would be like and communicated well about one surprise (concrete) that came up during the project Our patio now drains well and looks so nice! We're grateful to NY PAvers and Ahmed for making this happen, especially on a tight timeline before we had family visit! read more

Ahmed and the New York Pavers crew are outstanding, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I got quotes from four different contractors and while they were not the cheapest, I ultimately went with NY Pavers because I didn't want to have to worry about the workmanship, I could tell they would not cut corners, and I liked the vibe I got from them. Other firms will lowball the estimate and say whatever to get the business (which you will most likely regret later), but Ahmed was very transparent and honest in his assessment of the job, and in the end, quite reasonable. Their level of professionalism from punctuality, follow-through, cleanliness, and honesty are reassuring and refreshing. A pleasure to work with. They used tinted concrete pavers for my front and backyard and the installation was quick and efficient. Very happy with the work! read more

Ahmed is a master planner, advisor, & above all builder. He helped me figure out what needed to be done to fix my leaky garage, renovate my dilapidated backyard, build me new garden entrance, & shore up my crumbling retaining-wall. New York Pavers transformed my property from a hellscape to a dreamscape, & at a very reasonable cost! read more

After reading their reviews on Yelp, I was skeptical that anyone could be that good, but needed to have the paving in front of my building done quickly and well. From the moment that Ahmed answered the phone to when his team completed the job, I've been impressed. Ahmed's approach to his business is exactly what you'd hope for in someone you hire, but we've been taught is naive to expect. He and his team are there to get the job done well and as promised. And when there was a miscommunication, he addressed it personally, immediately, and appropriately. Ahmed, Haseeb, and Ray and their guys were all terrific! They came when promised, got the job done quickly, went above and beyond, and I've had numerous compliments since. I highly recommend this business and have already made a point of telling everyone who'll listen what a great experience I had with New York Pavers!! read more

Ahmed and NY Pavers helped me fix my backyard May 2022. I wanted to wait 8 month to write my review so I can report on the condition of my pavers after they had weathered the elements for a few months. I'm happy to report that my pavers look as perfect today as they did 8 months ago. No loose pavers, no cracking, no chipping, no weeds in the joints and no discoloration. I'm a first-time home buyer and didn't know much about pavers, and Ahmed was the perfect person to work with me. He showed up on time, gave me options and let me know the entire process from ordering the pavers, installation and initial maintenance. You will not find another person in the NYC tri-state area who is more passionate about pavers than Ahmed! The job was supposed to take 3 days to complete, but the original plan to have the pavers delivered to the front of my house didn't work out. Ahmed re-scheduled the paver delivery and had the truck sit a few blocks away until parking spots opened up in front of my house. Then he had his team work non stop over one very hot weekend and the job was done. All my neighbors were impressed at the fast, professional and clean work. Pricing was competitive and it was really worth the investment. Thanks, Ahmed. Great job! read more

Fiaz and his team made our tiny backyard look and function better than we thought was possible. During the estimate, he proactively raised all of the issues that I had been concerned about - most other contractors we considered didn't. His team was energetic and efficient. In just over a day's work, all the old pavers that covered 2/3 of the yard were hauled out, the yard's grade was corrected, and a lovely semi-circular paver patio was installed. Highly recommend. read more

New York Pavers - Paver / walkway and deck - Masonry/Concrete Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

NY Pavers is a very reliable and professional service. We had a small job to be done, replacing our broken cement patio with new pavers. Fiaz was extremely helpful and responsive, did not in any way pressure us to enlarge the job. In fact, he added a walkway with the leftover pavers, for no additional charge. The workmen were respectful and careful, as access to our garden was not easy. We are very pleased with our new patio. Thank you, Fiaz. read more

New York Pavers - Masonry/Concrete Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

EXCELLENT WORK I just had my backyard paved and they did a great job. I e-mailed them for a quote, Ahmed came the next day, ordered my pavers which took 2 weeks. The job was started on a Monday and if not because of rain it would've been completed by Thursday. Very professional, polite and clean, would highly recommend them. read more

New York Pavers is such a wonderful group of humans and business people. We got several quotes from different contractors who were all over the place and super flakey. From our first interaction, New York Pavers were incredibly communicative, transparent, and professional. Ahmed worked closely with us to scope our project and was so detailed and helpful. We had our old pavers ripped out and replaced with new pavers which took only 2.5 days to do. The crew was efficient and friendly -- I was surprised how quick the project was given what others had quoted us -- and left things in immaculate condition once finished (a rarity in my experience.) What's more Ahmed was over-communicative throughout the project and amazing to work with. We were so impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail New York Pavers showed that we immediately asked them to take on another, smaller project in the front of our home. I cannot speak highly enough of the business acumen and professionalism exhibited by New York Pavers but also their kindness throughout the process. Pricing is totally reasonable (if not a steal given the quality of work.) If we could, we'd have Ahmed and the team do all of the pending projects we have around the home! Thank you thank you thank you! read more

We were the first to install some pavers recommended by Ahmed. They were massive and heavy (5 ins of solid concrete), which entailed more work than expected and prolonged the project somewhat. But Ahmed and his crew did a fantastic job making up for lost time. Ahmed was constantly in communication with us and responsive to queries and issues that needed to be addressed. I look forward to using them again for any major projects of that kind and highly recommend them. read more

Ahmed and the team were extremely professional. It was a treat dealing with a company that responded to questions and concerns in a timely manner which is not always the case especially in Manhattan. And we now have a beautiful blue stone courtyard! We highly recommend them. Thank you! read more

Fiaz, promised over the phone to come to see masonry job and give quote, but never showed up nor called me to lmk. Made me waste my day waiting for him. I found out through a 3rd person who knows the owner personally that he wasn't interested in my little brickwork job because it was too small and he wouldn't make a lot of money as he would working on huge building jobs where he can bilk hundreds of thousands out of the project and cash in big-time. My small brickwork job and I were not worth his time, I was told, that's why he never showed up as he said he would on a specific day and at a set time. His business will suffer going after the big job/big money because it's the small jobs that lead to the bigger ones. Not professional whatsoever. And greedy for money! read more

Complete my paving in 1 day. Did a great job and was faster then originally expected.

After researching many contractors and their reviews we called New York Pavers to replace a backyard lawn with a brick patio. A representative, Ahmed, called back the same day and came out the next day. He arrived on time and showed us on his ipad, in color, the various brick and stone designs, describing in detail the ones in which we showed interest. He also described the entire process and quoted us a price, all without pressure. To make a long story short, we gave him the job and couldn't be happier with the results. His crew did a beautiful job and left the place spotless. There were non problems and no hidden costs. I would recommend Ahmed and this company to anyone who is interested in quality work at a fair price. read more

Very professional. They gave the best price and they did a wonderful job. The job was done a week earlier than estimated, and they added a small walkway at no additional cost to improve the overall look of the patio. I highly recommend these guys. M.F. read more

We hired New York Pavers to repave both our driveway, and then a couple of years later our back patio. Both experiences were great -- they are responsive, professional, and fast, while delivering great work. With our driveway, we had an issue where one section created a large puddle every time it rained. The guys came back to fix that area, removing the pavers and regrading that spot, at no extra cost. Really wonderful service! Both the driveway and the patio look great, and the driveway has held up very nicely over the past 2+ years (the patio is much newer). The one thing is that I wish I'd asked them to cover the exterior wall of our house with some kind of tarp, as the cement from the driveway job splattered on our siding while they were working. Aside from that one tiny thing, I could not be happier with the quality of the service they provided. Would definitely hire them again for future work (and I did!). read more

He came and gave me a free quote, advised on the different pavers, gave great advices on sealing. It rained the day they were scheduled to do the work on a Saturday, he called prior to and scheduled for the following day on Sunday, and his men do not work on Sunday's. He said he would get it done and he is true to his word. His team was very professional, quick, hard working they cleaned up the mess outside and took a broom and swept up inside the house. They finished the work in one day. I would highly recommend these guys. read more
