I can't speak highly enough about this company! Quick, responsive, so professional and kind. I have loved working with L Torres Gate and recommend them to anyone needing a new or repaired roll gate. I moved into an old commercial spot where the roll gate was too low and wasn't working very well. They quickly gave me a super competitive quote, came the next day, installed a new spring for the motor, raised the gate, and even repainted the gate and swept the area without my asking! This company is wonderful. read more

Leo's team are absolute professionals at what they do. Prompt, responsive, and courteous, Mike and the other artisans helped me rip out an old ugly fence and install a solid, sturdy and good-looking metal fence. Pricing was fair and honest. Would highly recommend them for fencing jobs in Queens. read more

Excellent work and vendor. Took away the old cellar door and left us with a brand new custom-made one in no time at all. Quick, responsive, fully comprehensive and the best quote we got overall. read more

As someone managing a building remotely, L Torres gate is one of the most honest companies to deal with. I had a HUD security window gate violation that needed to be fixed and Mr. Torres was understanding, responsive and honest. They went to the site gave me options on how to remove the violation and had the project completed within a week and had incredibly reasonable prices. I am considering some interior renovation projects that may include some additional ironwork and there is no-one else I would trust. L. Torres Gate is the best in my book. read more

I requested a estimate on Yelp for some window gate modifications to accommodate AC units. Rosemary responded within an hour. Further e-mail correspondence with pictures of what I need to be done gave me a price before I agreed to have them come out for exact measurements. E-mail replies were quick and to the point. I personally prefer to get an idea of the price first before setting any in-person appointments. Why waste my time if the price is not right? The set appointment was on time and sales rep was very polite and professional. Work was completed within three days after measuring. The installation was on time and finished within a hour. Workers were fast, polite, and neat. The new window gates looked beautiful. I had inquired several places around my neighborhood without success; either they don't keep their appointments or the job was too small. I have no problem with L. Torres Gate and I fully recommend them for your iron works. read more

We used Leo and his team to add some security to an outer, iron door in our Bushwick, Brooklyn house. We needed this job done quickly and securely as someone in the neighborhood had figured out how to reach through the iron bars of the "security" door and unlock it. They were actually storing their junk under the stair landing of our house! Leo was pleasant, thorough, understanding and responsive from start to finish. He came to the house almost immediately to evaluate the situation and give a quote for the work needed. His price was very reasonable, and he had his crew on the job within the hour. They welded some iron mesh to the inside of the door, actually lined the door up on its hinges better, and painted the door's iron frame. The work was excellent, and his crew was pleasant as well. I know I will use him again in the future, and I highly recommend him to others. read more

We had L. Torres Gate to repair our building railings which were rusted and needed parts welded back on. The railing hadn't been painted in many years. Steven and his team were meticulous! They spent the whole day scraping and painting. They made our railings look new. We have ornaments that needed to be painted a different color and they were very careful with that. They were also careful about leaving the area clean. There were no paints drip on the stairs or sidewalk. I highly recommend this company! read more

They are exceptional with response times. I can't say enough about their turnaround time as far as making the consultation; I spoke to Rose on Monday and she had the experts out to my home to do an assessment, and within hours the job was completed. It was a breeze and virtually seamless to work with this company. Will recommend to anyone, and you will not be disappointed with their services! read more

Our front driveway gate broke, it had been dusting at the hinges. Let me tell you, it is not easy to find a gate repair person that will pick up the phone or respond to a message. These guys picked up immediately, they came early the next day and quoted a great price. They not only fixed the broken gate but reinforced the non-broken gate panel. They covered my car to protect it from sparks and painted over the welding points, to match my fence color --great attention to detail. These are the only guys I want to install/repair my fence. read more

L. Torres Gate did a great job fixing my gate. I would definitely call on them again and I highly recommend them.

They came promptly to take measurements and promised to send over the quote. The job is extensive and require a lot of work. But if the response is any indication of their service then I would not recommend them. I would like to provide a proper review but if they fail to provide a quote after multiple request it would be unfair. I would even be satisfied if they said no to taking the job. read more

They Showed up on time. Relocated the wrought iron gate pole. Reasonable price compared to others.

My iron gate was vandalized, and also quite rusted out, the guys at Leo's shop are real pros, they even painted the new install to prevent rusting. This is what craftworkers should be - good at what they do, considerate, make it happen, reasonably priced, real old school, proud of their craft, quick, and pay attention to detail. What a great find, totally worth it. read more
